This is an RP about the Society of Concerned Scientists' boarding school. The idea is, as some of the students are getting ready to graduate, they meet some of SOCS' human experiments and realize the reality of what SOCS does after being manipulated their whole lives. Then they can decide if they want to help the experiments and escape SOCS, or be a part of SOCS anyway.
You can have as many characters as you like, and they can be a student or an experiment. However, I think it's best there be only up to six characters who are experiments for the time being. We might add more later, but I think it will be more balanced if we begin with a smaller number. And two of my characters are experiments, so that leaves four experiment slots left. Experiments can be human, animal, or some combination of the two. Students must be human. I believe the original SOCS Boarding School was all girls? That's up to you guys if we should keep it that way, if you'd like to change it we can.

Rivals to slight friends works for me! I don't have much on Avi's backstory because I imagined him having been there a while and not really remembering anything from beforehand. Or possibly forced roommates?

Species: Human
Personality: Funny, kind, and gentle. Enjoys company of others, but hates to be interrupted when reading. One of those who'd love to joing the dance party, but is a bit to shy to do so.
Skills and abilities: Fast at swimming, running, and climbing. Great with a staff, and okay with bow. Strong limbs from all that climbing and running. Good at games and things that include brain skill.
Likes: Reading, writing, climbing, swimming, chocolate, friendly people, funny jokes
Dislikes: Horror things, shoes, cold days, purposely ruined books (and not purposely) animal abuse, lies, mean and rude people, cheaters

Student or experiment?: student.
Species: human.
Personality: a strong-willed and wolfish person with a rebellious/lonerish aura. he's quiet and observant for the most part, and they have haunting grey eyes (he wears eyeliner muahaha).
Skills and abilities: they're able to sneak around unnoticed, for the most part, and can usually silence people with one glare of their grey eyes.
Likes: oddly enough, he's a pescatarian. so he doesn't mind vegetables--or fish--despite his wolfish persona. they're slightly lactose intolerant, although they love dairy. pizza.
Dislikes: chicken. red meat.
Other: they were forced to come to the training academy by their abusive parents, so that's a sore subject for them.
(i'm going to add in their appearance rq); asher is pale and has longish brown hair in a wolfcut. male/androgynous appearance. they're of average/tallish height and typically wears a black t-shirt or black midriff with dark green cargo pants with a chain dangling down from them. he has multiple ear piercings and wears dangly black dragon earrings (along with black ear cuffs). he has multiple rings and bracelets along with dangly necklaces. his eyes are a haunting silver/grey and he wears black eyeliner to make them pop. they have black fingernails and wear black combat boots.(although if SOCS requires uniforms, they'll wear it)

Species: cat. xe's just a normal-sized cat that can talk (albeit with some other interesting qualities).
Personality: calm, levelheaded, a little sensitive. they're always open to chat, but have a very snarky personality.
Skills and abilities: swift and clever, able to control water to some extent. (nothing major. if this isn't allowed, lmk)
Likes: dairy, water, the cold.
Dislikes: heat, her captors.
Other: xe is a very pretty shorthaired calico with blue eyes and a long, puffy tail.

Hey, thanks so much for joining! Originally I had said that there should be six experiments; if Blackfooted Bobcat ends up doing both Krestel and Alloy, and you do Aeyns, that would be seven. It's only one more over what I had planned, so I think that's probably alright.

If anyone wants to join I think a good place to put your charrie whould be in the cafeteria. I know Avi (my charrie) is there and I believe Zinnie? And Via? (Sorry if I spelled it wrong. I also don't remember who those belong to ) may be in the cafeteria as well.

If you're a student, right now they have archery class. Feel free to move the story from archery to something else, though!

Just wondering, what other classes are there at the BIG academy?

I think they'd have all the core classes (so there'd probably be some sort of Language Arts class, there's a History class although much of it is propaganda, there's science and math) but I think that it'd be more centered around STEM in that part because kids who aren't as good at the physical fighting stuff can still go on to be scientists. You can decide the specifics but maybe stuff like chemistry, biology, engineering and lab stuff
And of course there's fighting classes too. We already know there's archery; there is also knife throwing, hand-to-hand combat, and maybe some lessons in use of swords and similar weapons. What kinds of classes do you think we should have?
