The Crown
After countless numbers of Council and Embassy meetings, I prepare myself for the Kyngdom Coucil, where are the leaders and royalty of Kyngdom will be meeting in the East. I brush my fur, although it's not like I have hair like an anthro, and select a black halter gown with gold speckles along the bottom trim. It's simple, yet elegant, and although I'm not a big fan of dresses, I don't mind wearing this one. I then take the Crown. Taking a deep breath, I put it on. Master Nova used magic so that it would take the form of a tiara. It's pretty, and it shows me to be a queen of some sort, but it's also a risk. But it would be hard for any agent of Catastrophe or Catastrophe himself to tell that it was the Crown--after all, all other leaders and royalties will be wearing crowns and tiaras or other distinguishable items.
I take a deep breath and step out of my room, while my guards push past the crowd of people and I head to the large room where the Council is meeting.
(Is it possible that any Pur whoevers or anyone else will be here? That way we could also RP on here. Also, representatives will be here too, so if you guys represent a species or group of people, you are invited to attend.)

All right, thanks! One more question: was the arrow poison a poison she was immune to, or not?
(October 29, 2017 - 8:49 am)
Once again, she was immune to the poison on the arrow.
(October 29, 2017 - 10:05 am)
Okay, thanks. So I'll rewrite it, then.
(October 29, 2017 - 5:24 pm)
I’m not saying you have to rewrite it, although that is entirely up to you. I was just saying this as a future reference kinda thing. :)
(October 29, 2017 - 9:53 pm)
I know, but I want to.
(October 30, 2017 - 4:22 pm)
A okay, your choice!

Connie felt as though a great weight had suddenly smashed down on her shoulders, crushing her almost to the ground. She gasped at the pain of it, then realized that perhaps the weight had been there for a while; she just hadn't had the courage to realize it.
(October 29, 2017 - 5:36 pm)
Oh, wow, what the heck? I think this post was supposed to be when Connie surveyed the smoldering battle scene, and for some reason I just posted it. Weird. XD
Mudge says teve. Do you like TV, Mudge? This is like TV. Just... better!

OK guys, I'm moving ahead on the story. I'm sorry if I do something that somebody doesn't like, but no one else is doing anything.
We've set up a jury-rigged council room in one of the empty hospital tents. There aren't many empty ones, as the majority of them were filled with the injured and dying.
I sit next to Kristjan on the right side of the table, towards the head. The table is scratched and worn, something that was salvaged out of the wrecked event hall. The tent has a hole in the top, and the first rays of sun are bleeding into the space. Mina sits on my left, and Alex sits across the table from us. Connie is there with the rest of the Winged ones, and shadow sits next to Mina. We all look awful, and Vol is taking a nap on Aviances's shoulder.
I clear my throat and straighten up. Vol jerks awake, rubbing his face with his hands.
"I'm sorry that we have to have this council meeting. I know that it is in an inconvinient time, but it is needed."
I look around at all of them. Mina doesn't raise her grief-stricken face, but shadow raises her head wearily.
"We need to decide what is going to happen next," she says.
"How?" Connie asks. "I don't mean to be the devil's advocate, but we don't have a lot options. We lost half of our forces, barely keeping the Crown away from Catastrophe."
"We can go to the base," Min says, still looking down. "We can go to the base and recover. We will be protected there."
"What base?" Connie counters. "I don't even know what we established as head quarters. Last time I checked, we were camped out along the Wreath Wall."
"We can go to Bleak Peak," Alex suggests. "That's safe."
"Bleak Peak might work," I say. "I have my warehouse and automaton workshop there, but we could make it work."
"It sounds like a good idea. We just need it to be big enough to protect us from the elements and guard us from Catastrophe," shadow says. "Should we plan to move there tomorrow morning?"
"We'll have to talk to Quill and see if the injured are in a good enough condition," Vol says. "IF not, we might have to wait a few days."
Everyone nods, facing me again.
I take a deep breath.
"That's not all. We can't just keep planning in the short term. We have to know what we are going to do. How are we going to defeat Catastrophe? We're just a small band of rebels. How are we going to find the Shield before he does? What about the powers? Are they even part of the picture? Does anyone know where they are? Where are Icy and Ronan?"
shadow puts her head down, and everyone else does as well. The questions hang in the air, and the tent is silent.
I need other people's input on what is going to happen.

“The base as in Mer,” I interrupt. “Bleak Peak has been taken over by military forces. And you know what happens when the Resistance and militaries mix. Defeating Catastrophe wise, well, we’ve tried everything haven’t we? Defeat him from the inside, defeat him from the outside, spies, everything. Nothing has worked. I suggest we try one more thing.”
Sprocket looks at me with an eyebrow raised. “What?”
”I’ll send a message to him from Mer’s base, arranging a diplomatic meeting. He’s awful and violent, but smart. He doesn’t want to lose his supporters by refusing a civil meeting that might prevent anymore bloodshed, on both forces. He’ll definitely bring a couple captains with him, so I’ll bring a couple of you with me too.”
”Let me at him,” Alex growls.
“Alright,” I sigh. “But restrain yourself, okay?”
Sprocket raises her hand. “I’ll volunteer. But are you sure that Mer is okay with it?”
”I’ve discussed this with Harbor before,” I reply. “And after her funeral, Ocean said we could use the now-ready base. I think everyone else should be behind the door, meaning listening in on the conversation.”
shadow nods. “I’ll perch with Connie in the upper shutter. We’ll make sure to wire the place.”
”Everyone else, be ready for a fight in case everything goes wrong,” I say. “But hopefully it won’t.”
”What about the Crown,” Sprocket asks.
“I know where it is,” I reply. “And it’s safe. The Sheild, well...since Catastrophe obviously doesn’t have it, I feel as though someone in the Resistance has been keeping it a secret.”

"Well then," I sexclaim "Who ever knows where it is, tell us so we can have someone where the crown and shiled and send them to fight Catastrophe! sice 2 is greater than 1, we should be able to win!"
The others look at me.
"That," Sprocket replies "Is the stupidest thing I have ever heard you say."
"But it's simple math!"
"Didn't you do poorly in Mrs. Herdberry's class" Pater Istitiae glows a bit more cheery
"This is a military meeting, no time for tomfoollry Pater!"
"And yet you did make the stupidest suggestion of all time" Mina points out
"UGH! WHERE IS THE SHIELD!"

Nieke isn't there; she's in some elf forest in Middle Kyngdom with the Elites.
