I looked at the diner. After a quick glance behind me, I went up to the door. When I tried to open it, it just rattled. I tried the other way, but again, it rattled. I thought, maybe it slides! I slid it to the left. No luck. Right. Again, no luck.
"AHHHHG!" I yelled. Yes, maybe a little over dramatic, but the sign said that it was open, and THE DOOR WASNT OPENING! I jumped off the steps and walked around to the other side. There was another door! This better be good, I thought, or this diner is going to have a broken window or two.
I put my hand on the knob, and with just a small turn, it swung wide into a room filled with waiters, waitresses, animals, and humans. I shouted, "YES!!!", and everyone stopped and stared at me. It was silent. "Uh...yeah...sorry about that...um...I...I opened the door!...uh...yeah. Bye." I backed out and closed the door.
All for nothing, I thought as I walked back outside. And I'm still hungry.

I walk into the dinner, and walk over to Lia's table. She seems very nervous. Why would she be nervous... Oh. I get it now.
"Hello." I say. Now I am nervous. I wish I had known she was asking me out on a date, not formal buisness. "How are you doing?"
