Okay, um... I'm not sure how long you've been gone, but I do know that the Bog and Burrow Inn no longer stands. Aya burned it down, apparently along with the human inn that used to be over it. Aya is a phoenix, one of Caelani's Sideaffected Powers. I don't know if you knew that. Tell me when you need catching up on from and I'll see what I can do.

I wonder if she'll use it to rebuild the inn?

Wow... That long, huh... I'll try to catch you up. And yes, the B.I.G. is still active, although no one quite knows what they're up to.

Okay, so the ball. The punch turned out to be spiked with Brazen Goo, and the Powers' outfits were actually traps, turning into chains coated with more Goo. Laya Diamondtail typed the code (18625, from the magazine) into the keypad at the base of the ice sculpture, which proceeded to break. Icy set off an underwater firework that broke the dome around the ball, and while Catastrophe (who showed up around then) got the Power of Fin, everyone managed to escape alive. Those who don't normally breathe water built rafts where we lived for a while. They either always were or became one raft. Ronan made additions to it when he woke up, and on what I believe was the second day, Jaaws showed up. She dropped Catastrophe on the raft (spoilers: she had taken his Brazen Goo and possibly the Power of Fin, and then Catastrophe somehow got to land before anyone else) and fought Claaws, and... Dramatic music is genuinely dramatic, which is weird 'cause it's supposed to be relaxing/ambient (yes, I'm playing music)... Claaws died. Not exactly, I think, but she turned into an instrument and fell into an underwater crevasse farther down than anyone could possibly go. Everyone but Jaaws and perhaps Catastrophe was upset and even devastated. We drifted for another day before Laria spotted a B.I.G. ship. It came quickly enough that if we didn't get on it, we would get smashed, so we got on it. It's not quite clear what happened as to accomodations, but that night, there was mist, and the next, Marsha Yearwood showed up and attacked Ronan. The scuffle attracted others, who were then witness to Whist's arrival and the subsequent battle/kidnapping. Ronan was taken. It's not clear where Icy, is, but she's either on the boat or in Aslahari (see my mot... thread). The ship then crashed on a reef, and we made it to land in the lifeboats and set up camp. Caelani followed Ronan to a sort of makeshift lab, where Catastrophe removed their shadows. Evil king gets around. They escaped, though, and found our camp, where we had recieved a radio signal saying Catastrophe, Icy, shadow, and new charries Mina (cat anthro) and shadow (girl with giant hawk wings, Angel of Death) were in Aslahari and they needed backup. We had just finished making peace with B.I.G. and battle preparations, and set out immediately. My charrie Lycaella went home to New Windswood, where her mom visited and we found out about the separation and reattachment of shadows, and her best friend Nygrune started teaching her magic. That was a long... whatever that was.

In Aslahari (backstory on the my mot... thread, summarized as shadow and Mina become friends, Mina gets brainwashed into being a spy and general for Catastrophe's army, they go to Aslahari with Icy and an ex-scientist named Jake, a giant battle starts) there's a huge city-wide fight. Ronan arrives with his group from the ship, but we all pull out anyway, leaving Catastrophe and his new allies Octavia and Elliot to rule Aslahari and the Southern Deserts. Ronan goes to some random forest with Ecio, Caelani and some others, and activates the Power of Fin. Ayearth comes out mutated/poisoned by Brazen Goo, but a wizard named Rabbicus Smith appears and cures him. Caelani's Sideaffected Powers Aya and Leptomiris come for them when they make camp, but Rabbicus teleports them to the Bog and Burrow Inn. Aya finds them and burns the inn down. On the Bog and Burrow thread, it's revealed that a battle happened in the inn that resulted in the captures of Mina, Leva (Mina's long-lost sister), Sprocket, Trillian and new charrie UB-01 by Jaxon, whose boss is Poe Allen, who is Elliot's servant. They all escape later, but anyway, the inn gets completely razed. Alexandria, an exceptional prodigy of the Society Of Concerned Scientists (SOCS), tracks pretty much every major charrie down and captures them all, bringing them to one of Elliot's prisons, which might be on an airship. It's not clear. The SOCS attempts to brainwash shadow, who pretends it works and acts as a student named Diana. Mina goes undercover to find her, and a fight breaks out at an assembly. We're also introduced to genuine SOCS inhabitants Eliza, Keavin, Alissa and Prism, and Tuera gets actually brainwashed and thinks her name is Addilon. Mina and shadow escape by hiding in a closet and discover that shadow and Alexandria are sisters. Poe Allen is working on cloning shadow and has a crush on Alexandria, who has been wounded and poisoned, and the two are in his base. Long and chaotic, everything is.

Ayearth, Ecio and Caelani fight Aya, Leptomiris and possibly Enyo (the Song of War bird), until Ayearth disappears with a Chinese dragon we think is Xiaoyu. We might change her name, but I think you know who she is. Ronan finds Icy in her house and they talk a bit before hearing the battle and going to help. On the Peaceful Negotiations thread, we try to get out of the capture/escape time loop that Alexandria and her captives are in. The Mutant Army is formed/gains some new members. From there it's kind of fuzzy, but short version is the SOCS has a ball, the Resistance crashes it, Alexander and Elliot die, and Alexandria and Poe Allen are taken prisoner. Where we are now seems to be the SOCS Costume Ball thread, and what just happened last I checked was shadow let Alexandria and another girl out of their cells to help investigate the screaming of another captive, for which Mina locked her up along with them. Trillian and Sprocket freed shadow, though, and she's currently hiding in Sprocket's room.
