also are we gonna do something christmasy on around christmas?
(December 2, 2016 - 4:08 am)
Well, first of all, Christmas is really only celebrated by Christians, so it's a bit exclusive. Also, I don't think Kyngdom has a Christmas, but maybe they have a large winter feast that lasts for a week and celebrates the birth of the Powers?
(December 2, 2016 - 4:56 pm)
ok then. I wll spread the joys of christmas by beaking into peoples houses and leave gfts behind while in a red suit

Great member of the resistance you are.
(December 3, 2016 - 10:04 am)
HEY! just because we have the same first name doen't mean you can judge me nor my favorive holiday!
(December 3, 2016 - 10:54 pm)
I'm a Christian, and it's not only celebrated by us, it's celebrated by millions of people from millions of different religions and world round. Do you realize how flowery people have made Jesus' birth? So that it's more of a day about Santa Claus than the actual holiday!
*goes off, mumbling about a rant*
Wait, I have an idea. 'Feast celebrating the birth of the powers'? That would be so cool, Shadow! And instead of having the twelve days of Christmas, we could have seven, one for each Power and ending at Lunee?
(December 3, 2016 - 9:53 am)
so basicly the birth of powers is like the birth of baby jesus.
Oh well close eoungh to cristmas tradions for me

Winter holiday. Maybe a short peace. Sounds awesome. Possibility of snow: even better. Time in Kyngdom is weird, though. From what I can tell, it's only been a couple of weeks since the ball happened in midsummer, and yet it's also December. Maybe we should allow our charries more time to do things. We're definitely having a winter holiday, though. A seven-day festival sounds good, but do you think the original meaning (birth of the Powers and presumably also Celesti) should be unknown to most people?
(December 3, 2016 - 1:29 pm)
I'm not Christian, and I celebrate Christmas. I know that for some people, including me, it's not about the birth of Christ, but more about having a decorated tree in the house (which is strangely exciting) and having and giving presents and spending some time with the family. Christmas to me just means December 25th, a week off of school, people I love, and a festive atmosphere.
A winter holiday in Kyngdom sounds awesome, although I think most of its citizens don't actually know that the Powers aren't evil.

I sit quietly in shaft towards the ceiling, watching Olympia confront the group. When the time comes, I attack using my arrial fight pattern.
Suddenely, there is a miny war, and they are shooting at each other left and right. I swing through the bars on the ceiling, when I'm finally over the enemy group.
I silently take out my gun and aim it at a boy, busy shooting at Olympia. But a red hair girl notices me.
Right as I pull the trigger, she leaps in front of him and takes the blow.
I swoop down and pick her up by the collar, beating my wings out the doors, through the hallways, and to the ship.
I set her down on the floor, where she is passed out and where a steady flow of blood is coming from her shoulder area.
The doctors come and get her, taking her to the White Room.
I follow, and watch as they arrive and strap her to the bed, preparing to get the bullet out.
I'm ushered out of the room, and all I do now is wait.
~~~~
A few hours later, she is fully concious, and the steady liquid flows from the IV to her arm. Our ship has taken off, and Auva stands beside me.
She glares at us. "What?"
Auva chuckles. "You know, the usual. We want information that you won't give to us."
"You're right," the girl, I think Eliza from the reports, says with a sarcastic tone. "Not a thing you say or do will get me to tell you."
"Figures," Auva nods, smirking. "And that's fine."
Now Eliza looks confused. "What?"
Then it looks like she finally got it. "Bait," she mutters.
"Correct!" Auva exclaims.
Auva nods to the doctor, and they come in with a new IV bag. They replace it with the other one, and Eliza looks at it.
Auva smiles. "Slow poison. Your body will fight it, but eventually it will give up. And we can send live recordings of you to your little friends. Maye that will make them come."
We turn and walk off as Eliza yells at us.
Right as we close the door, she screams.
Good. The poison is starting to work.
I never should have left.
After I'm dismissed from the ship's clinic, I head straight for the Records Department. I need to check something.
When I arrive, I look through some of the boxes and files that are on the shelves, looking for one name in particular.
Maria Rachael.... What was it? Oh, yes. Maria Rachael Brown.
I scan through the letter B, and find one box. One result. I open it and find a single folder with a couple of pieces of paper inside.
I scan through it.
Maria Rachael Brown...HSAP...one sibling...Resistance...shadow....
Nothing new. Oh, well. I thought I might find something because I thought something was off concerning the blood samples, in turn concerining Shadow.
"Hello," I hear a voice behind me say.
Startled, I shove th box back on the shelf and whip around. Poe Allen. "Oh, hello."
"And what are you doing?" he asks.
I gulp. What to say.
Mina and I watch the blimps float away. We start to walk to the nearest town, sometimes taking small dusty roads, but normally blaizing our own path through the dense wilderness. A few times, I offer to fly ahead and look for cities, but Mina doesn't want us to get seperated. Finally, the sun sets, and we have to build a makeshift camp and fire.
We sit around it, and Mina says, "Rememeber when Icy and Eli had just rescued us and we were sitting around our little campfire, and I don't remember what it was, but Eli said something absolutely hilarious and we all started laughing. Remember that?"
"Yeah." I say. Then Mina and I both start to crack up.
And then I start crying, because neither Eli nor Icy are here this time, and it is only then do we finally relize how completely alone we are.
Addilon~
From my dorm window I could see Diana and Tate. They looked like such good friends, the kind you could never truly make at the academy. I watched them laugh and cry for a while before I couldn't stand it any longer. I walked outside the front steps and sat down. I needed some fresh air to clear my head. I didn't notice the footsteps that came up behind me.
"Tuera?" That name again. I turned around. There stood Tate. I gulped.
(I was thinking that Mina and shadow could see Tuera and try and tell her who she is? And then eventually it would come back to her....)
We sit around the campfire as Shadow finishes crying. I don't do anything, I'm not good at comforting anyone. Shadow goes off into the forest to get more wood for the fire, and I sit, staring at the light flames.
Suddenely, I hear a twig snap behind us.
I slowly reach down for my gun.
I hear a rustle, and I spin around, aiming it.
I find myself face to face with a New Republic leader, probably a captain becasue of the War Eagle pin on her shoulder.
Surrounding her are other soldiers, all pointing their guns at me.
"Mina Courageux," the captain says. "You are under arrest."
"Under who's order and what charge?" I spit, as they put me against a tree and handcuff me.
"Under the act of treason," she replies coldy. "And our general, Poe Allen, has asked for any old enemies to be delt with immendiatly. I would say you are an old enemy, yes?"
"I was a friend once," I reply.
The captain smirks sarcastically. "Yes. Once. Until you betrayed the New Army."
The entire time the captain talks, I scratch a message to Shadow on the tree with my claw behind my back:
Under arrest by New Republic. Base unknown. Look around. Ask. Find me.
A soldier shoves me into the forest, and I look back one last time.
I hope Shadow reads it.
