APPEARANCE: Smooth, straight chestnut hair, brown eyes with flecks of gold, small (slightly built)

PERSONALITY: Slightly bossy, intelligent, easily interested in anything, friendly; her character will probably go getting a bit more complex as I RP her

HOME: The BCAftV. Her family lives in a city near East Whetston, in a fairly large house since they're well-off but not rich, and she lived here with them before she became a Valiant. She still loves it because of the memories she has of it.

MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: somewhere in the BCA, usually in her best friends' rooms or in her own, or outside having fun

FRIEND OR MENTOR: Maybe her aunt, who she used to know very well before she went to the BCA; they had similar personalities and were very close. They still see each other sometimes.

ENEMY OR RIVAL: Anyone who is unkind to others. At the moment she doesn't have one particular enemy, unless maybe it's one of the other students in the BCA.

FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: Her notebook where she jots down her thoughts and ideas, which her parents gave her as a gift just before she became a Valiant. In general, though, she doesn't become very attached to things; she likes ideas and people better.

MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: "The storm will come, so enjoy the sunshine."

STRENGTHS: She's good at running, decision-making, having ideas, archery, and being a good friend if she's given the chance.

WEAKNESSES: She's a bit reckless, and has a dislike for failing at something that can lead to difficulties. She doesn't always stop to think things out, but plunges straight into them.

BACKGROUND: As I mentioned, Aldine comes from a middle-class family and had a fairly peaceful upbringing, going to school, having friends, and never really questioning Catastrophe's rule; her parents have always been content to let power belong to whoever can get it, but keep themselves out of any politics or turmoil going. She has one older brother. Her parents decided to send her to the BCA when she was fourteen, as in a year ago at present, since they think that she'll be safest and happiest there.

SPECIES: Human

JOB/TITLE: A Valiant, enrolled at the BCA

APPEARANCE: Teasing hazel eyes, curly, unruly hair somewhere between brown and black, strong chin, generally good-looking (does he know it?), likes to wear hoodies and jeans

PERSONALITY: Brilliant, talented, a "golden boy", comes from a fairly rich family, a steadfast friend to the people he likes, cocky, warm

HOME: The BCA, but on holidays he goes to his family's house in a rich southern Kyngdom city; he grew up in another place, but his parents have moved since he went to BCA.

MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: The BCA, since he lives there. He likes to hang around the amphitheater and the rooms where the students generally gather.

FRIEND OR MENTOR: He's friends with Colin Windward, but has a group of other friends as well; his mentor has always been one of the teachers who was at the BCA when he arrived, but by now has retired.

ENEMY OR RIVAL: I have a feeling he'd have one of these, but I'm not sure who it is yet... Like Adine, anyone who's unkind or domineering.

FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: A bow that his mentor gave him; it's an old one, of hazel wood inlaid with patterns in silver and topaz. He hardly ever uses it.

MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: "Let tomorrow belong to tomorrow."

STRENGTHS: He's good at most things he sets his mind to; he has fairly good combat skills, and excels at languages, archery, and some sports, as well as at flirting, having fun, being popular, and knowing whe people need help. He's also excellent at getting matriarchs and old women to like him; and, of course, his warm personality is always helpful.

WEAKNESSES: Oddly, he's a bit too quick to trust, and he also has a tendency to think that he's in charge or on top. Inwardly, he always wants to have fun, which can lead to trouble.

BACKGROUND: His family are avid Catastrophe supporters, and his older cousin went to the BCA before him, so it was the obvious choice to send him there too as soon as he was old enough. He's an only child, and he's never been very close to his parents; his early childhood was spent with his friends or on his own.

APPEARANCE: light skin, short brown hair, and blue eyes. Somewhat small.
PERSONALITY: Colin is more quiet and reserved, but quite intelligent. He is a loyal friend, and a very dedicated, passionate person overall. He often gets lost in thought and is usually told he's taking things a bit too seriously.
HOME: BCA, though he visits his mother on holidays
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: BCA (he lives there after all). He enjoys the amphitheater and the general outdoors, but can also regularly be seen at the library and in his dorm.

FRIEND OR MENTOR: he's friends with Rel Sirion and has other friends too. 

ENEMY OR RIVAL: I don't think he has any at the moment.
FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: his violin
MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: "Okay, but I need to practice violin first."
STRENGTHS: smart and good at the academic stuff. Skilled violinist. 
WEAKNESSES: not particularly good at combat. 
BACKGROUND: he wants to do science for BIG someday, so he's going to BCAftV and has been since he was eleven. His mother lives in a village some distance away from BCA; he only sees her on holidays but writes her letters from time to time

Appearance: Long, black hair and sharp blue eyes. I wear a red cloak and carry a sword at my belt at all times. I am 10 years old.

Personality: Brooding, but paiteint. Can spend hours pouring over Elvish scrolls or long-forgotten maps. 

Home: A cave in Northern Kyngdom, near the town of Cyren. 

Most often seen at: the Bog & Burrow Inn 

Friend or mentor: Elyande the Raven

Enemy: Anyone at B.I.G

Favorite possesion or object: His sword, which he always carries at his belt

Strength: Combat, and intellegence. Able to translate complex texts in just hours, and has defeated twelve warriors in his lifetime. 

Weakness: doesn't trust other humans.

Background: was born in a cave. Learned to hunt at fight at age four, and spent the majority of his life exploring the areas around his home. He collected advanced weaponry and supplies, but also discovered a majority of Ravenish and Elvish texts, and has creat several compediums. b

SPECIES: half-human, half-Piper (a Piper is a magical being who are skilled in magic, especially in musical magic, and their music is far more beautiful and powerful than any that humans can make)

APPEARANCE: bright golden hair, sage green eyes, vivid coloring
PERSONALITY: sunny, generous, optimistic, passionate, talented, friendly, generally likable
HOME: a small farm in the most beautiful part of Southeast Kyngdom
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: travels from place to place, but she's more partial to Southeast Kyngdom because it's her home

WEAKNESSES: impulsiveness, easily trusts, conflicting feelings sometimes, not the best at combat
BACKGROUND: Stella's mother is human and father is Piper. Traditionally, since Pipers are few, they marry humans, and in a half-Piper half-human family, they tend to have two children, and the older one is almost always a pure Piper, and inherits the Piper surname, while the younger one is human, inheriting the human surname. However, Stella is instead half-human and half-piper (which may be due to the fact that her mother is a talented musician), meaning she has a really good musical gift---singing, but her magical properties are lacking in comparison to a full-fledged pure Piper (like her brother Neirad). She travels with her brother place to place performing music magic and helping others, as well as getting news on the latest things like Catastrophe and the Resistance. They tend to know exactly what's going on at Kyngdom at the given moment, but remain neutral on conflicts and are more like travelers.

SPECIES: Piper
JOB/TITLE: Neirad the Piper
APPEARANCE: dark hair, warm golden-brown eyes, taller than average, ears with the slightest points (as of a Piper)
PERSONALITY: a serious and mysterious air, but actually lighthearted and fun, charismatic, caring
HOME: a small farm in the most beautiful part of Southeast Kyngdom, but he doesn't feel as attatched to it as Stella, so really doesn't have a home
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: with Stella, traveling
FRIEND OR MENTOR: Stella, his sister, as a friend, though mentor would be more his father
ENEMY OR RIVAL: none for now
FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: a silvery wooden flute
MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: "Music is really magic of itself."
STRENGTHS: music, especially singing, though also plays instruments like piano and flute, empathy, knowing what to say at the right times, basic combat
WEAKNESSES: too cautious, archery, not the best at teamwork (except with Stella), can feel lost sometimes, feels pressured
BACKGROUND: Similar to Stella's, except because he is pure Piper, he has a lot more pressure, though he knows that he has it better off as well. He was taught music almost immediately after he was born, and music came naturally to him as a Piper. Does his best to care for Stella and travels with her.
