Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ Power of Hoof

*A Travel Guide to Northwest Kyngdom That is Totally Not Top Secret and Has Nothing to Do with Anything Important
So you want to take a trip to Northwest Kyngdom? Wonderful! Pack your bags, grow an extra layer of fur, and hop onto the Badger Express, the high-speed badger-drawn train that will carry you northward.
Travel tip: The Badger Express has a wonderful dining car that serves a creamy, piping-hot soup called Pinesüppe: root vegetables simmered for hours with pine needles and topped off with a rich drizzle of sap.
Once you disembark, take a moment to notice how your breath turns into an intricately-patterned fog in the air. There is a magic to northwest Kyngdom that no one can explain--almost everything here, no matter how dangerous, is aesthetically pleasing. Gaze at the fields of soft, untouched snow, the evergreens glimmering with icicles so elaborate that you would have sworn they were carved by artists, and the aurora borealis that dance through the sky like omens of a better life. This is the home of Regina, the Silver Reindeer, who is…just your average reindeer!
Travel tip: Pack light but warm! Bring lots of high-protein snacks--we recommend grubs! Regina is the guardian of Hoof!
Though Regina looks so noble so as to be unapproachable, she is actually very friendly, and loves showing newcomers around her land. She lives in a mansion (nobody said reindeer weren’t materialistic!) that she named Jökull, the Old Norse word for ice. It is a place of good cheer, where the super-sweet juice of the local Winter Black Cherry flows year-round (delicious over ice or warmed up!). Zephyra loves to spend her holidays here.
Travel tip: Examine Regina closely when she walks. Three of her feet are shod in beautiful mother-of-pearl horseshoes that glimmer when she walks, but the fourth bears only a rusty horseshoe. Look closely at that horseshoe. I think you know what it is. Don’t you?
Regina will warn you about the forest of blue juniper trees that look so appealing and smell like Christmas on a platter. This is the Decoy Forest, and its pull is strong. When you walk through it--which you should never do--you will see what you want to see. Lost loves will cry out to you from the trees. Your mother, as a teenager, may appear, begging you to be her friend. Ignore them all. Have another mug of Winter Black Cherry cider. Enjoy your stay.
Travel tip: The pull of the Decoy Forest? B.I.G. feels it, too. When Cornelia Hornshaw stares into the Forest, she sees an image of the Fourth Power. But she still doesn’t know where it’s located. She’s heading there now, though. Will anybody stop her?

Througout this entire course of events, I've nodded and kept silent, quietly observing the humans. Yala seems to be having fun, and Zjier opposes many things she says. But we finally head back into a forest where the two agree that we should shift to humans. Yala takes the form of a girl with long, pitch black hair and bangs that extends past her shoulders. Zjier takes the form of a boy with brown hair that is cut short. I take the form of a girl with short, silver/ platinum blonde hair. (You guys can change yours if you want.) We all look normal, except for the fact that we are ages old and we take the form of teenagers.
"Now we can make our debut at the Inn," Zjier says.
Yala looks taken aback. "I swear we literally said seconds ago we weren't going to."
I interject, gritting my teeth a little. "Yala, if we want to know what is going on, we must go to the Inn."
She throws up her arms. "But-"
"We'll be fine, Yala," Zjier says. "I know that it might be dangerous, but it could be the only way to protect the Crown still."
"Speaking of which, we've been gone from it for an awfully long time," I say.
Yala nods but Zjier stands firm. "We need to go to the inn."
I look at Yala. "I agree."
"Sorry little sister, looks like you're outvoted again," Zjier says.
Yala clenches her fist.
"Zjier, enough," I practically snarl. "No one has time for these childish games. Now let's get a move on."

I actually really like the description of Yala, could I maybe just change the hair color to dark brown? It really doesn't matter though
(January 16, 2017 - 3:58 pm)
Sure! It's totally fine, it's your charrie.

I burst open the door of the inn, sending snow whirling inside. Everyone's heads turn to look at us, and I smile sheepishly. Trillian, Elliot, and Moonshadow (Were you going to come with us?) slowly file in behind me. They had been so kind as to wait for me at the door of the inn while I ran all the way.
"Um, hi guys," I say, scanning the crowd.
"Sprocket?" shadow slowly rises from her posistion by a cot. "Is that you?"
Why can't they recognize me? I look down at myself and realize why.
I was caked with snow and soaked to the skin. I had dried blood caked in my hair (which had a million little sticks and twigs in it). Scratches and cuts cover my body, including a nasty looking one just above my elbow. I guess this is what you look like when you fall off a cliff.
Laughing, I nod. "Yup, the one and only. Do you guys have a shower anywhere?"

I had not been planning to, but seeing as I have no where else to RP, I'd be honored.

Thanks so much for the reply! So the Powre of Hoof remains unfound? (It's actually with Blazing Star but more of that later) Before I start, could I let Blazing Star find your group?
(January 16, 2017 - 7:24 pm)
We don't mind :) You can just jump right in whenever you want.
(January 17, 2017 - 6:15 am)
Hey guys, can you give me a quick sum up? I forgat to stay with this thread....*que in the-Dun DUN DUN! ....Thanks....Naax...*

So apparently everyone who decided to go to Northern Kyngdom is at or going to the Cavern Tavern except Mina, who pretended to betray the Resistance again back when the Badger Express crashed. Or stopped. Or was attacked. I don't know, but I'm pretty sure the Resistance people at the tavern are Sprocket, Elliot, Brynn, shadow, Icy, Anwen, Ronan, Trillian and Moonshadow, and there's another small group there that I think is comprised of Hazel, Nieke, Alex R., Trixie and someone else. There are also others at the tavern, but I'm not sure who.
This post may be wildly inaccurate, but it's my understanding of what's going on.

Hazel~
Noises come from the lobby of the inn, waking me from a restless slumber.
I throw back the quilts and step out of bed. How long had I been asleep? Based on the moon's position, not long.
It's dark, but there are voices coming from the lobby. I emerge from my room and notice, with a jolt, that Rain's door is open. A nervous peek through her doorway tells me she isn't in her room anymore. With the decoy forest outside our doors, who knows where she could be?
I tiptoe to the lobby and see a small group of people gathered by some cots. A boy (Sprocket, you're a boy, right?) has just burst in, sending snow flurrying all over the floor.
"Sprocket, is that you?" asks one of the group. I slowly begin to recognize her--it's Shadow! The Resistance is here, too--our allies!
"Yup, the one and only. Do you guys have a shower anywhere?"
I can't wait any longer. I step out from the chilly hallway to ask if anyone's seen Rain.
"Sorry to interrupt," I say frantically, "but one of my team members has gone missing! I don't suppose you've seen a deer pass through here? I--I think she went into the forest!"
(January 16, 2017 - 8:29 pm)
No, Sprocket is a girl.
(January 17, 2017 - 12:29 pm)
Mind if I jump in? If you don't know who I am, I recently filled out a character sheet in the Who's Here thing.
I open the door to the inn, bundled up in my jacket and scarf. I head over to the front desk and give the badger a sack of coins for one or two nights' stay while I look over and see a group of people greeting each other around a fire place. Fire places are so lovely. They didn't have any in the dark ages, and when people thought they were so advanced later on in the timeline, they would use ugly wood stoves. But fireplaces have always been my favourite.
Once the badger gives me my room key, I head for my room and drop my stuff off before going downstairs to brew my own tea.
While squeezing some lemon peels, I overhear what the other people talk about. They talk about the war and how they've met strange people. I don't pay too much attention to it until someone mentions the Resistance. I nearly the drop the peel in my tea. The Resistance? Could they be a part of the Resistance? Something that I've been wanting to be a part of since the early days?
I try to steady my hand as I casually walk over to one of the seats and carefully sit down, still overhearing their conversation.
"Yeah, then she acted terribly out of no where and shot Icy. Ivy's still recovering in her room right now."
"That's awful! We'll have to check on her later. We met these three wolves-"
Then suddenly their talking gets lower, and everything becomes quieter.
I finish my tea and look over before getting up and walking over to a small couch by the fireplace. As if I can't be more casual, I pick up a small book.
Kyngdom in the Era of Takeovers
I survived through that era, and I can say first hand that it's nothing great to write about. But I flip through the pages anyway, when suddenly I feel someone hovering above my shoulder.
I turn around, and panicked, shift to exactly what they look like.

~Trixie~
I slide the last piece of the Cypher into place and sit up. I wince as I sit up, then make a mental note to stretch more when building. I look around the room until I find Hazel. I walk over to her and say,
"Hazel, you need your own Cypher. I built one on the trip here." I hand the Cypher to her. I'm about to keep talking when my watch buzzes. Ben's voice comes out of it,
"Trixie, you there?"
"Yep! I am. One sec. Sorry Hazel, that's my brother, I have to go." I say. I find a Cavern&Tavern worker and he shows me a room where I can talk alone with Ben.
"Okay Ben, I'm here. What's wrong?"
"What makes you say something's wrong?"
"You didn't use call numbers. You always use them unless something's wrong."
"That's weird. Who are you with?" Ben's voice sounds funny.
"No one. The voices you hear are from outside the room. So what's going on?"
"Ah. Nothing much. I'm in the wagon right now because James's friend-what's his name, oh they're all so small I can't tell them apart-well anyway, he lost his favorite toy sword and is now hysterical about it."
"Oh." I say. Oh no oh no oh no. I think, This is very bad. "Any other lost items?"
"Nope! James isn't letting his friend near his things now."
"Well that's not nice." Silence falls. "How's Mum?" I say tentatively.
"Okay. She really misses you, Trixie. I mean, she knows you have to be there, but she wishes you didn't."
"I'm sorry. I miss her too. I miss all of you." I hear a loud clunk from Ben's end.
"Hey Trixie, Rose may or may not have just not something off of the thing you left in the wagon that we were not under any circumstances to touch, breath on, or even look at."
"She did WHAT? What does the part look like? Is Dad there? Can I talk to him?"
"Ummm... It's round. I'll go get Dad."
"Trixie?" Dad's voice is on the intercom this time. "Don't worry. Rose knocked off a metal pie dish she put on there for some game of her's."
"You mean Ben couldn't tell the difference between a pie dish and a piece of highly complicated engineering?" I say. "Scientists." We sigh together.
"I hate to cut off your conversation, but dinner is ready. We have to go." Dad says.
"Okay. I'll talk to you later. Send my love to the family! I miss you guys! Bye!"
"Bye Trixie."
I shut off the intercom and sigh. Then I shake my head. There's no time to brood over missing my family. If I understood what Ben said, we have a much bigger problem on our hands.

Sorry for a boring rp full of talking and not much else. I hope someone got the point I was trying to make.

We need to launch an offensive mission. It's the only way to start doing something. Who wants to go with me?
