Hello all Newbies! Welcome to the Resistance. A quick orientation:
Here are your uniforms. They're enchanted to magically fit your form, so don't worry about sizes. And don't ask about the bloodstains on them. You don't wanna know.
I'm Autumn, werewolf, Resistance General, and artist. I've been with the Resistance for a few months, and I work with the Elvish Sector. We don't yet know where you will be placed to work; you'll probably get to choose, unless we're really spread thin. At the moment, a few major threats are:
Catastrophe and his army
The SOCS
The Black Skull
And any other yet unknown troublemakers.
Now, recently we've lost a lot of our most powerful members. shadow of everywhere, former Angel of Death and Resistance General, was killed by the Black Skull a few days ago. We also lost miss Lilly pur Lamour, a wealthy young lady who funded many of our programs, and Riuex, a double angent who worked to get us information from behind enemy lines. We're glad that you're joining. Dorms are to the left, if you plan on residing here for a while. We don't have any maps of our facilities, as maps are expensive and would make it easy for an enemy to find their way around here if we were somehow infultrated. Just ask someone where the toilets are, and you'll be fine.

BACKGROUND:Naþainn grew up in a powerful barbarian tribe to the northwest of Kyngdom. He had many friends there, since his mother was the chief. His father had mysteriously disappeared before he was born. He was trained in combat and government. When his mother died on an expedition far north of any explored territory, he became chief of his tribe. He gave even more power to the council, so he can travel more often.
SOCS stands for 'Society Of Concerned Scientists'. They're a rival group to the BIG that works for Catastrophe. However, unlike the BIG, the SOCS expiriments on both humans and animals, and only ever for the good of Catastrophe's army. They gave shadow of everywhere wings, and made Mina a cyborg. They're also the cause of many dissappearances.

Please excuse my correction, but I was introduced with the Lamours at a party once, and I do believe it was Lady Lilly Pur Lamour, not Miss Lilly Pur Lamour.
Again, I apologise for my correction if it hurt your feelings in any way. I do say you make an excellent Resistance general in helping new comers and making people feel welcome. If it is possible, is there any way I could speak to Queen Mina Courageux? Or is she just known as Mina? She is an old acquaintance of mine, and I need to speak to her about something.
Sorry about the name mess-up. I can't keep all of them straight, if you know what I mean. As for setting up a meeting with you and Mina, I don't work with her (I am in the Elvish sector of the Resistance, and she is much higher in rank then I) so I can't easily help you. If shadow were still around, I'd say to ask her (they were rather dear friends from what I hear). Perhaps I could find a way to contact Icy for you?

A figure steps into the room with sopping wet hair. She raises her head and blurts, "Can I join?" Everybody stares at her. She whips out a piece of paper and says, "I have records."

"Why of course you can join!" I say, "You don't need any records to come to the Resistance. Unless, of course, we know that you're a Catastrophe associate. You just missed the welcome speech, but I'll gladly fill you in."
The person tells me their name is Lux. I give Lux the speech and the uniform, and then I show (him or her?) to (his or her?) dormitory.
It's so nice to have new recruits.

I lunge for the door just as it closes, and manage to get a couple fingers in the crack. I wedge my foot in as well, and gently kick it open. Looking around, I see a group of people surrounding a girl with brown hair, which is soaking wet like mine. It's really rainy here in the north.
With a closer look, I see that the group is made out of not just humans, but anthros and winged people as well. Most of them are wearing black, as if in mourning. Maybe they are. Just before I left home, I heard rumors about the execution of a young girl. She might have been with the Resistance.
I push my hair out of my eyes and take a hesitant step toward them. No one reacts, so I take another. And another. Then a girl across the room sees me, and shouts, "Freeze! Hands up!" Her metal arm looks dangerous. Silently cursing myself, I do as she orders. I should have been less sneaky.
A fox anthro walks out of the group to me, a gun pointed at my chest. "Are you a spy?" His eyes are narrowed, and I can tell that they are analyzing every inch of me.
"N-no," I manage. "I w-want to j-join the Resistance." He cocks an eyebrow, but lowers the gun. A tall girl comes up behind him, and says, "Alex, calm down." She is looking at me too, but in a nicer way.
"We don't usually have two recruits so close in arrival," she says, tilting her head a little. "Do you know Lux?"
"No," I say truthfully. "Who's that?"
"The girl who came in moments before you. I thought you were with her."
"Nope." I shiver. It never rained this much at home. But then again, I was never out at night when I was still living in the south. Things change.
The fox-boy (Alex?), asks me, "Do you want a blanket?"
"Yes, please. Thank you."
The girl who yelled at me, the one with the mechanical arm, brings over a dark grey blanket. "I'm Sprocket. Who are you?"
"Thank you, Sprocket," I say as I wrap the blanket around my shoulders. "My name is Elijah."
Liberating Kyngdom…………Stopping oppressors…………Creating a new government…………This Resistance thing sounds very interesting. How do I join?
