Welcome to Kyngdom, Pier! I replied to your post on Capto Abolere, by the way. :)
To join the Resistance your character needs to first let them know they're interested. Then they get a background check, interviewed, etc., and after that, they're invited to join.
It was a perfectly sunny day, with a slight breeze and the absolute perfect amount of sunlight. The conditions she liked to travel in. There was a small hill with a door in it. Insomnia would have almost missed it, if she hadn't tripped over a rock in the exact spot.
"What the-" she muttered.
Taking a tour of the Kyngdom area had taken an unexpected turn. She examined the door carefully. It looked shabby and decrepit, but when she tried to turn the doorknob, it didn't open. Stupid locks. She put her ear to the door, and turned the doorknob again. There was a multitude of clicking, but unfortunately, she had no idea what it meant.
Giving up, she tried to break the door down. It didn't budge, and Insomniactic recieved a bruise on her already blistered and cut hands. "Ow!" she shrieked, stifling the scream at the last moment.
Carefully, she knocked on the door with her other hand.

When you're in the Resistance, naps are hard to come by. So when I'm awakened by a knock on the door, I'm not in the most pleasant mood. Laying on the hard, wooden top bunk, I stare up at the cracked ceiling for a minute, as I try to recall my dream. It's the same one I've been having for months now- a portal, a seemingly endless tunnel, a futuristic world, and... a girl. Not me, but with the same hair, eyes, short nose, freckles- why? What does it mean- what could it mean? I brush it off. Obviously, it's just another dream, holding no more meaning than any other- before resigning myself to this task.
I trudge to the door, rubbing sleep out of my green eyes while simeltaneously brushing the wrinkles out of the simple green dress I'm wearing. I grab my harness out of the corner, where the burlap material and wooden frame of my mechancal wings are fitted neatly into a small bag. In one smooth, practiced motion of a hand, the harness slips onto my chest, the pouch containing the wing material is removed, and they pop open like two giant umbrellas, at the press of a button.
The corner contains a small, dusty wall mirror, and I spend a few seconds pushing back my long, tangled red hair. Wish I could braid it, but whoever's at the door is getting impatient- they've already knocked three times more.
I throw open the door to see an elf-girl standing outside, her dark hair messy, the small black heart painted under her eyes smudged. Her sweater is dirty, as if from tripping over a rock, and the slight October breeze doesn't even make her flinch, whereas I'm getting goosebumps up and down my arms from the cold.
"Hello!" she says brightly.
"Um... hello."
I briefly wonder how I'm always the one to answer the door. Claaws, I'm awful at socializing.
"Do you... are you...?" Her eyes widen as she spots the Resistance badge on my bodice. "I mean... am I....?"
"Come inside," I say. Not taking any chances, in case she's working for the other side. I realize that if she is working for Catastrophe, her being inside our base is even worse.
I sit the girl down at a table in the kitchen, hand her a steaming cup of hot cocoa, then step out of the room and close the door behind me, wondering what I should do.
And then it hits me.
I need help.

@ Insomniatic, sorry if I controlled your charrie too much.
@ Hazel, if you want to be the person who helps me, that would be great!

FaFA is all animals and a few humans that have earned FaFA's trust.
BIG is humans and some of their animal experiments.
SOCS is humans, mostly girls since when Headmistress Rigga was alive, it doubled as a boarding school for girls that trained them to kill. So, there's some assassins too. I think they supply Catastrophe with mutants and assassins.
The Resistance can be any creature, they are very accepting of all species and customs.
And SMA(LL) is created by you, so I imagine that you're correct. XD

Ren, Delta and I reach the base. "Well, here it is," Delta said , sounding very proud. Honestly, it's not much. It's just a small building, tucked away in the woods surrounding Mer. Most of the base is underground.
Ren examined it. "It's nice." She finally decides. Delta smiles as much as one with a beak can. Which, admittedly, isn't much.
I lead Ren through the doors. She looked all around. The Dolor Felis at the front desk that I can never remember the name of looks up. "Who are those two?" She asks , looking at Ren and her friend Atticus.
"They're with me," I reply . "FaFA agents."
The Dolor Felis nods. "Alright, then." We continue.

I'm gonna have Swift be in the Resistence instead.
Swift~
I walk silently through passages, every once in a while checking the map the bears gave to me. I should be nearing the - CHIRP CHIRP CHIRP - What the heck was THAT?? I run over to get a better look of... A bird. A tiny bird with blue bands on her legs. Looks like a snow bunting. She's chirping quietly to two other animals, but to my heightened senses it seems like a screech. I stalk over. The bunting notices me.
"And who are you, sneaking about?" She demands, even though I'm taller than her by a good few inches, a rare occasion considering I'm a foot tall.
"My name is Swift, and I aim to become a Resistence spy." I reply calmly. The bunting smirks and looks me up and down while the two others roll their eyes. I bristle. "What, you think I won't cut it?? I'll show you-" Just then, frost shoots out from the bunting's feet and swirls around my paws. I don't budge. Since I'm a leaflyt, magic can't touch me. However, I do have some magic of my own. The frost retreats back to the bunting. Her eyes widen.
"What was THAT??" She exclaims. I examine my claws.
"Leaflyt magic. Leaflyts can control the elements and... most offshoot magic like ice from water and lightening from fire, and magic can't touch us." The bunting twitches.
"Ah. I see." I smile.

*static noises emit from the Resistance radio*
...Hello? I only have a few seconds to talk. I want you to know I've been promoted, and we're planning something...
*static drowns the transmission, and the line goes dead*
This is an intro to a new charrie I'm planning.
(November 13, 2018 - 8:56 am)
Filler Charrie:
Name-Fuyu
Species - White Wolf Anthro
Job/Title- Resistance General
Appearance - Strong and tall, white fur, wears Resistance General uniform, about 30, yellow eyes.
(This is mostly just to help the Resistance get back into the plot)
(November 13, 2018 - 8:59 pm)
Insomnia is actually on the Olive Den thread now. Sorry for the confusion! I think she posted this but then decided to rp on that thread instead.
(November 20, 2018 - 4:54 pm)
I gotta question. Sorta. Mainly a 'correct me if I'm wrong'.
Catastrophe. Humans and some creatures that were 'recruited'.
FaFa. Mammals and birds...?
BIG. Humans.
SOCS. Humans, mostly scientists.
The Resistence. Animals and a choice few humans who aren't trusted much.
SMA(LL). Who knows what, just as long as it's dedicated to harnessing the raw powers of magic.
(November 22, 2018 - 1:45 am)
Catastrophe is any creature.

(November 23, 2018 - 1:44 am)
The Resistance was founded by humans/humanoid creatures--Mina, Sprocket, Alex R, Shadow, etc. Although I guess they accept anyone against Catastrophe.

So, if Insomnia isn't here, we could turn the person that Microchip let in into someone else...who COULD be a spy...Thoughts?
Ember~
I'm walking towards the kitchen to grab a bite to eat when I see Microchip standing flat against the door.
"Hey, Microchip. Is there...um, anything in there I should know about?"
"A person," Microchip answers nervously. "She was knocking on the door and I...let her in."
I raise an eyebrow. "Oh. Friend or foe?"
Microchip shakes her head. "I don't know yet. I was just thinking I needed some help. Could you...?"
I nod before she finishes. "I'd be glad to help."
(November 24, 2018 - 6:07 pm)
Oooo, sounds fun.
Crystal~~
