I have been wanting to start an RP for a while now... and I thought, what would be better than Mythology? Nothing. That's why I decided to do an RP on Mythology.
1. Setting- Ancient Greece! Also Ancient Rome if you so choose, and areas outside of Ancient Greece.
2. Characters- How are we going to make up characters? To be fair you are allowed one God and one Goddess. Make sure you do not do one that is already taken. You can have as many mortal characters as you want though.
3. Background- It is going to be during the Trojan War. We mostly will make it up as we go along.
My Characters:
Goddess: Hera
Looks Like: Has dark brown hair mostly worn in a bun. Has tan skin, dark black eyes. Is tall and thin. Is beautiful.
Acts Like: Is a warrior queen. Can be jealous very easily, especially of Zeus. Is clever and smart. Does not like to be bothered. Likes to be in control. Did I mention clever?
About her: Is the wife and sister of Zeus. (Don't ask me how this happened.) Used to be in love with Zeus, but old age (can Gods get old???) has made them more apart.
God: Zeus
Looks like: Has gray hair and a long beard. Has pale skin, dark black eyes. Is tall, but "heavier." Was handsome when he was younger. There are still some traces of beauty.
Acts Like: Can be angered very easily. Does not care about being in charge or not. Likes to act like he is still young and mortal.
About him: Is the husband and brother of Hera. He still loves Hera, but hinks it is hard to manage her.

Hephaestus and Nyx. And random Trojan footsoldier. I will decide on him later in this post.
And YES, I WILL be unconventional. I am unconventional. I am feeling unconventional. My characters rarely listen to rules.
Name: Hephaestus, god of technology, craftsman, artisans, sculptors, metals, metallurgy, fire and volcanoes.
Looks like: Brown hair, brown eyes. Looks about 25. Lame.
Acts like: He got thrown off bloody Mount Olympus for siding with his mother (Hera). He stays out of the way and keeps to himself.
About: Again, thrown off Mt. Olympus by Zeus for siding with Hera. Hera had him on her own, like Zeus did with Athena. Isn't really in love with his wife Aphrodite, because she's not exactly easy for him to love. Besides, she's dating Ares. Problematic much?

Goddess: Nyx, goddess of the night
Looks like: Very beautiful, according to Wikipedia. Black hair, black eyes, looks about 15.
Acts like: She's night. She doesn't act like anything; she just slowly takes what she wants. But Nyx prefers to stay out of the gods affairs. Is very powerful.
About: Wikipedia isn't helping...

Goddess: Hemera, goddess of daylight
Appearance: thick, wavy, honey-colored, hip-length hair ; golden eyes; glowing skin
Personality: very cheery, smart and diplomatic
About: The daughter of Nyx and Erobos according to one source. Another source says Nyx is her sister. It's your decision SC. I hope you don't mind that my character is slightly related to yours. I didn't do it purposefully. :)
Name: Antéxei-Énan "Énan"
Age: 16
Appearance: Dark hair, dark brown eyes, olive skin, muscly
Personality: Loud, fierce, hard to deal with
About: He is a Greek Soldier.

Acts like: Smart and not afraid to show it
About: Weakness: not very emotional, is very reasonable, sprang from Zeus's forehead, often found with a small owl, patron god of Athens, created the olive
Name: Poseidan, god of sea, earthquakes, and horses
Looks like: A kinder Zeus with black hair
Acts like: often moody, temper creates storms
About: After the war with the Titans, he got the sea when the realms were divided up. Later, he created horses.

Looks Like: Has chocolate colored hair which she wears in a bun,also wears a headband. Has pale skin and chocolate brown eyes. Has golden wings.
About her: Is the goddess of the rainbow, sea, and the sky. She is the personal messenger of Hera.

No, I don't want there to be half-bloods unless your character was actually a half-blood, like Hercules.
