RP! Anyone want
RP! Anyone want to join me?
Rhi slumped down against the cold, stone, dungeon wall, after yet another futile attempt to wriggle her legs out of the shackles. It was hopeless to try to do anything. She was stuck here, for good or until someone came down here to get her. And bring her up to her excecution, most likely. Once again she cursed her stupidity. Why had she tried to create a magic fire? The alley had been cold and dark, but not nearly as cold and dark as a dungeon. She had known she would get caught. She had known magic was against the law. And it wasn't as if she was a real witch, one who could turn attackers into toads or whatever. And now she was stuck here. May as well give up, she thought. Can't do anything.
Then a sound jolted her out of her thoughts -- a loud, long creak as the door swung open, and light came down into the dungeon. "Anyone down there?" a voice shouted.

Since when isn't ZNZ posting? Shouldn't we just be patient?
Yeah I have to go with the Admin on this one... I don't know what ABDC is either so I don't think I watch it either. BTW, Admin I was rooting for Robert too, but I'm glad Lauren won. As long as it wasn't Kent.
ZNZ sent us a nice good-bye comment to post, probably about ten days to two weeks ago. And I don't think we've heard from her since. I would've been happy with any of the final three dancers winning. They're all so good!

Temp: I'm not sure ABDC is still airing. http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/73628 ;-)

Hello?
(August 16, 2010 - 8:58 pm)
Well. That is terribly sad. I hope she does come back. Bummer, man. Sigh. well, I guess we just move Rhi around as we please. Darn. I'll miss her!
(August 16, 2010 - 10:07 pm)
So, um, is anyone going to post?
(August 18, 2010 - 4:38 pm)
I will, but tomorrow. Time for some zombies!
(August 19, 2010 - 7:21 pm)
Temp: Are/Did you watch(ing) Zombieland?
(August 20, 2010 - 8:53 am)
@Olive: Indeed. A masterpiece of epic cinematic proportions my brother called it. I agree. It was awesome. Zombies are awesome. Speaking of which...
//Temperance//
The confusion in Seryn's eyes changed immediately to wariness when she saw Rhi standing behind me and Aalton. Before she could say anything or question the "orders" from the Queen, I grabbed her arm and started off down the hall.
"Don't worry," I said quietly in her ear, "we're not here to hurt you. I just need your help with something."
She glanced back at Aalton and Rhi suspiciously. They were talking quietly to each other and I felt my guts swoop with jealousy again. No, not jealousy. I didn't get jealous. I forced myself to ignore them.
"What could you possibly need me for?" Seryn hissed in my ear. I still held her arm tightly and I can feel her tenseness, though she's made no move to shake me off. I took it as a good sign. "Listen, I swear I didn't tell anyone about my time with you. No one knows I was there for your breakout."
"Fine. I believe you. How long have you been working here at the Palace?"
"Only a couple days. Guards picked me up not ten minutes after I'd left the Rift." She looked me up and down, as though trying to decide whether or not to trust me. "They weren't looking for the Heir, either. They were looking for you."
"I'll bet they were," I answered absently, my eyes darting back and forth between the doors we passed. If someone were to open one and see us--realize where we must be going--we were dead. "So, Seryn."
I pulled her aside and stopped. Rhi and Aalton stopped as well, looking curiously at us. "Now that I'm completely in control of my faculties, I know what I want to do. I want to find out why everybody wants me dead. I know you don't know," I said, seeing Seryn's mouth open in protest, "but I think I know someone who might."
"Who?" asked Aalton. I didn't look at him, speaking to Seryn as though she had asked the question.
"My mother."
There was a brief moment of silence and then Rhi stepped forward, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Temperance... your mother's dead."
I turned my head slowly and the look in my eyes must have been terrifying because Rhi paled and withdrew her hand as though I'd burned her. Perhaps I had. I wasn't particularly trying to keep my magic contained. I turned my gaze on Aalton, who didn't so much as flinch. Instead, he stepped forward, putting his worried eyes before mine.
"Temp. Please don't tell me you're thinking of--"
"Seryn?" I said, cutting him off. Because I was thinking of doing something I knew nearly every magician would consider forbidden. Perhaps that's why some of them are trying to kill you, I think. You're not respectful enough for them. It didn't matter. I squeezed Seryn's arm and gave her my best attempt at a smile.
"Where in the Royal Catacombs do they put executed magicians?"
Both Rhi and Seryn gasped. Aalton pulled Seryn away from me. "No."
I faced him. "You know the Queen always keeps the remains. She's afraid of invoking a curse or a haunting. But gods forbid they contaminate Royal remains. I know they're kept separate."
"Your mother is ashes, Temp," Aalton told me carefully. It was annoying how masculine he looked when he was trying to be responsible.
"It makes no difference," I said dismissively. "Seryn, where--"
"She wouldn't know," Aalton said, interrupting. "I doubt she even knows where the entrances are." He took a step closer, leaving only centimeters between us. I didn't back away. "But I do. And I'll take you there, if that's what you want."
"You will?" That was surprising.
"One one condition."

@Temp: If you go to the Catacombs, read this. If Temperance doesn't, ignore it. ;-) (was Zombieland funny)
//Trompeur//
"Hello Trompeur," a masculine yet feminine voice said slyly. I struggled against the tree branches that had entwined and captured me, but to no avail (is that a cliche?).
I had cantered to the Rhombus Headquarters as fast as I could without making Luna fall dead, then when I had entered, a little surprise was waiting for me. Guess what it was? If you guessed Tree Branches of Evil then you are CORRECT!
"Who are you?" I asked, my mask of boldness hiding my fear.
"Why, who else?" asked the voice.
"You're not the Master," I declared. A fireball flew out of nowhere and enflamed the trees, with me in them. The flames scorched my skin and I could make out a couple of fresh new burns, the pain was gut-wrenching, but alas, I didn't burn up.
"I am the Master," the voice corrected, "The new one."
"What happened to the real one?" I asked through clenched teeth.
"Oh, he died the same way as you will in a few minutes. Of pain," the voice stepped out of the shadows, I couldn't see him through the heat, or maybe it was because my eyes were closed. "Oh, and one more coincidence! I killed both him and you! Isn't that funny? Now, why are your eyes shut? Don't you want to see me? Open them!" the heat was now really intense. I kept my eyes shut. "A rebel eh? Open them!" Suddenly, what felt like hooks peeled my eyes open. Through the blaze I could see the hooded figure.
No mistake, that hooded figure was Rhi. (It's not really Rhi, wait for it...)
"Rhi!" I exclaimed. The invisible hooks kept my eyes open.
"Wow, you are gullible," said Rhi, suddenly, her form started to shift until I was staring at Temperance, then the Heir to the throne, then Ghetto, then finally, my own mother. "Hi honey."
"You're not my mother!" I shouted bitterly. "My actual mother called me bunny!" My "mother" frowned, then shifted into the Queen.
"You are the most impeccable little girl!" she declared. "Increase the pain as much as you can without killing her, Cruor!"
"Cruor?" I said bewildered. "Isn't she dead?"
"My heartbeat was every thirty seconds," came her voice. "You just didn't care long enough to figure that out." Suddenly, the heat became so hot, that I felt that I was the inferno.
"You'll die in an hour, maybe two. Or maybe one hundred," said the Queen as she walked away, her black robes trailing behind her.
"What am I going to do?" I groaned to myself once she had left. Then I got an idea.
I began to conjure up a spell.
(August 21, 2010 - 12:30 pm)
Oh. I had meant for the real Master to meet Tromp, and Tromp to tell him that she had set a tracking spell on Temp & Co.. Now she's probably going to end up killing herself. Oops... Not my fault, it's the Queen's and Cruor's!
(August 21, 2010 - 12:31 pm)
//The Master//
Cruor! I had trusted her to fear me, and follow me. Now I saw she had had her own plan from the beggining, but how foolish she was to think that she could kill me. I knew how to make a temporary duplicate of myself, even if she didn't recognize it. I was hiding in the form of a snail on one of the Tree Branches, when Terena arrived. Silly girl, but I wasn't just about to let her die.
My voice was so loud, that the huge wave that swooped down out of nowhere, might have been caused just by its vibrations, but it was a wave that would do nothing to me or Torine, except allow us to swim. I swam down, changing into myself, and grabbed her arm. We swam to the edge of the lake I had created.
"You foolish girl," I told her once we had reached dry land, "Patience is somthing you lack. Your training in magic is complete, but there are still so many things you don't understand."

Oh no!I forgot Kat was the Master! Sorry! (Let's just pretend that the Queen didn't kill him, but just captured him or something like that). Sorry!

It's Okay Olive, I like it. See my last post.

Opps! I just realized the spell didn't show. I guess I can't put stuff up in Greek. Admin? Well, I used Google Translator to say:
"Bring a wave that cannot toutch me or her."
We don't post foreign languages we can't translate ourselves as we first read it. And we don't have time to go to a translator. We have to know for sure what everything posted says. English is the language of the Chatterbox.
