Hello dear students, may I welcome you to your first day at G.P.P.S. As your Principal, I am very excited to see young people learning. I wish you the best, and I hope your graduate with honors pinned on your shirts of excellence! You may now go to your classrooms.

-

------------------------------------

Hello students. I am your teacher, Mr. Gloworm. I hope you enjoy this wonderful experience of free-thought, story-creating, and so-on. For our first lesson, I'm going to go something different than your usual classroom; I'm going to let you choose something to write about. Remember, this is all about free-thought. I will tell you more about it later. First we have to see who we have in this classroom.

~~~~
Miss Mathilda
Dawnpaw
Miss Brynne
~~~~

If you are not on that list, and would like to be, please tell me before the third class.

~~~~
Okay now moving on to the assignment part. No, no, moving on to the free-thought part. I don't ever want you to think of literature as an assignment. If you do, please refrain from joining this class, I don't want to ruin the experience for you.
~~~~

For your first free-though, I want you to write about something important to you. Make it no more than seven sentences and no less than 3. This is not to be a plain, boring, old bio of yourself. Make it into a story. Exaggerate; make things bigger, if you have a cat make it a lion! The choices are yours.

~~~~
Your papers will be graded when returned.
(Check art thread, sice I put pretty much the same thing there as I would here.)
Jeese. See what I mean? I put "sice" instead of since. I'm going to leave it there, just for dramatic effect.
Thank you Mr. Gloworm.
I could never live without dogs.  Dogs are my life!  They're with me morning, noon and night.  I own several and each one is special in their own unique way; espeacially Hunter.  Yes, he's lazy, yes, he doesn't like to pay attention to me, but I wouldn't give him up for the world.  I don't know why I love him, maybe it's because I've raised him since he was born.  But the one thing I do know is that he'll always hold a specail place in my heart.
I am in 7th grade but write at about a 9th grade level.
Miss Dawnpaw - I'm afraid not dear, just try next time to bring up your grade!
-
Mr. Timothy C. - Yes, you may.
-
Miss Charlotte - I thoroughly enjoyed it! Very well written, and I only noted two spelling mistakes. You get an A.
I was passing by on the way to English when I noticed Dawnpaw's grade. Have you got something against her or what?! She's getting D's in all her classes, for Pete's sake! I look at her papers and they're fine! Cats are her favorite things on this planet, how can you say they're not important to her? I know you're the teacher, sir, but something here just seems wrong.
No, my dear, her paper was about three-headed dragons. I enjoyed her paper about cats, but I can't allow her to re-do it. I even liked her paper about the dragons, just the format and grammar were confusing.
When music is brought to mind, many think of pianos, violins, flutes, or even drums. But there's more to orchestras than just those few! I play the viola and have been mastering it for the past four years. When I started, the body of the instrument with its long fingerboard felt awkward in my hand; now it fits perfectly on my shoulder and is as an extension of my body. When I play the most recent solo, the thrill and emotion of the music rushes through me and gives life to my fingers and arms. I could not imagine life without my viola now.
It's done now!
[quote] Three-headed cat dragons
Fluf yawned. She glanced at her other heads. Flore and Faun were both asleep. Fluf stood up and walked along the forest path.Flore's eyes opened and she yelled, "Fluf! I'm TRYING to sleep!" Fluf rolled her eyes and sat down.
Now, personally, if I had handed in that story back in grade-school, I would have gotten an F.
Yes, could you please do something that doesn't require Google? Most of us have very restricted web access (some of us none), and I'd like to be able to participate in all the lessons. Thanks!
I would love to enroll for this class, but I see you have to many people already. Well then, isn't it a teacher's job to make sure everyone is learning. Well if you did decide to let other kids join you probaly wouldn't let me in for being so rude, but I wouldn't want to join a class that excluded people.
P.S. But I really do want to join.
