Hello Everybuggy! This is sort of a role play type of story. It's inspired by "Daydreams Cafe" by Miss Plum, which I absolutely loved, and the CBers' response to the "Daydreams Cafe." Enjoy!
You look around at the mysterious mist surrounding you. You have no idea where you are, and you're sure you were in the Chatterbox just a moment ago. You decide the best option would be to walk forward and hopefully find something or someone you recognize.
After walking for what feels like forever, you see a figure in the mist. Racing forward in hopes this person can tell you where in the world you are, you smile. Finally, someone else. When you get close enough to the figure to see it, you are slightly disappointed that you don't recognize this person at all. Her hair is blond, and her eyes are blueish- purple. An owl flutters in ther air next to her. She smiles at you. "Hello," she says. "I'm Periwinkle." "Periwinkle?" You repeat. "That's a cool name." Her smile widens. "Thank you, my friend!" You remember your mission to find out where you are. "Can you please help me? I need to know where I am!" Periwinkle looks at you with a twinkle in her eyes. "You are standing outside of The Little Lost Library," she answers, pointing to the tall brick building next to you. "Oh." You say. For a moment of two, there is a silence between the two of you. "Well, aren't you going inside, then?" Periwinkle asks. You are curious about what is inside, but still hesitate. "Will you come with me?" You ask. Periwinkle smiles sadly. "I cannot, my friend. But you will recognize some people inside. Best of luck!" You walk inside before you can chicken out. Inside, you are surrounded by giant bookshelves filled with books. Each bookshelf has a bronze ladder leaned against it. You grab a book and sit down at a table, with a few friends you recognize...

"Starlettes are celestial beings, we come from the stars. Most starlettes are serious and secretive but I'm....a bit of a rebel. Any way River who's Dovetree, and how fast can we find her."
River sighs, slumping her shoulders, "She's a naiad, a water nymph. And I don't know how to find her."

River frowns slightly at June. "Whyyyy does it have to be Dovetree, June? Come on! She so hard to find, and when you do find her..."
June just laughs. "Dove is a bit of a pain sometimes, I guess," she says. "But we can find her. Maybe..." Suddenly, June perks up. She rushes to the nearest desk with parchment paper and ink, and starts to scribble away.
"What? What is it?" River demands.
"There a plenty of owls in the Forest of Memories! Even though she could be anywhere in the forest, she would never leave to the..." June frowns and doesn't finish the sentence. River frowns back for a minute, and you and the other CBer have no idea what their frowning about, but River shakes her head and smiles again.
"You're right, June! Let's just send this out with an owl, and we'll hear back in an instant!"
You think she's exaggerating, but just five minutes after you send the owl, you hear something. At the window. You all rush over, panic and curiosity on you and the other CBer's faves, glee on River and June's.
A with a white dress, bare feet, long brown hair in a messy braid, pointy ears similar to an elf's, and, most noticeably, light blue eye lashes, sits on the windowsill, smiling mischievously.
"You summoned me?"

"Um... Yeah," I say hesitantly, when nobody else seems to want to answer. "You're Dovetree, right?"
The girl nods.
"Great. I like your dress, by the way. So there are these crystals -" I gesture towards them - "and... well, can you activate one of them?"

Dovetree shrugs. "Sure, I guess," she says. "But why do you need me?"
"Because we don't have anyone else," answers Star Princess.
Dovetree looks around and raises an eyebrow.
"You sure 'bout that?"
You all pause nervously, and finally Dovetree gets up from the windowsill, walks towards the water crystal, and closes her eyes. She breathes in deeply, and breathes snow out of her mouth. It disappears before it can even touch the ground, and the water gem glows.

"Well, that was a TON of Minecraft mods. Huh?" I said, as I heard voices.
I put the book back on the shelf, and walked towards Star Princess, MoonKitten, River, and a nymph of some sort.
"AHH! Emekittycon, you REALLY need to knock that off!" MoonKitten said, jumpin' a little.
"Sorry! What's up, lizards?" I said, as Star Princess looked at my tiara.
"What's your tiara made out of?" She asked.
"It's a sapphire frame tiara, with a diamond in the center, emeralds for the border, sapphires to the left of it, and rubies to the right. Why?" I replied.
"That diamond... is glowing." Star Princess replied.

Hmm," says Dovetail, "That's an elemental tiara, isn't it? That 'diamond' is an air crystal. Your an air elemental, one of the lesser elementals, aren't you?" \
The air crystal glowed brighter.

"Well, if I had the power to actually make question marks out of thin air and place them above my head, I would be doin' that. I have NO idea what you're talkin' 'bout, and I don't know why my Royal Kitten Subjects gave me this. I mean, C'MON! One minute, I was an ordinary girl, lookin' through an attic, the next I'm in a kingdom full of kittens, and battlin' a dragon! I can't even conrtol air if I tried! So, maybe I'm a air elemental or whatever, but until I find out, I have no clue whatsoever. I mean, maybe. But I'm SUPER-STRESSED at the moment, 'cause I'm sufferin' from L.O.M.N." I say.
"What's L.O.M.N.?" Star Princess says.
"Lack Of Mike Nesmith. I like abbrievatin' stuff for some reason-- Ok, why is the wind blowin' this way in a BUILDING?!" I ask, as I felt a cold wind blow.

I look around, also feeling the chill. "Huh, that is weird. Also, you have royal kitten subjects? That is awesome."

Hold on, the crystals were water, earth, and sky, right? And we have sky from Star and water from Dovetree, so we need earth. Maybe Dovetree could be earth. Emekittycon, would you mind being water instead? Or am I missing something?

I'm so sorry I've been unresponsive! Emekittycon, welcome back! Well, the typical elements are air, fire, water, and earth, so maybe since stars a like little balls of fire, star princess could be fire? And then Emekittycon could still be air, and then Dovetree can still be water, but then... who for earth? Also, this is 100% just an idea, you can do whatever you want about this.

Anika sighed as she entered the main room of the library. The main room was endless, though the rooms attached to it were not, which confused her a bit. But she loved this place. She loved the way the scents of books and fires mixed together. She loved the stories and fantasies and amazements that hid, both on the shelves and in the library itself. She loved everything about the library, even the deep secret it held.
Maybe not The Secret, actually. It was too dangerous.
It could risk everything.
But the rest of the library was wonderful. Andrew, her brother, was running it. He took good care of it, and he knew how to keep The Secret from being found--or worse. But he didn't know it the same way Anika did, and he was aware of this. So he had appointed Anika his first Dream Keeper (or, as Anika preferred to call it, Dreamer.) The library seemed to approve. As Anika walked through the shelves, the books she wanted seemed to float right towards her, and she could swear she saw the woman in her favorite painting wink at her.
WHACK!
Anika turned around and looked at The Painting, otherwise known as The Coverup. It was a very pretty painting of Anika and Andrew together. But she was often distracted from it's beauty by what it was hiding. Right now, she couldn't hear the source of the sound, but--
BOOM!
Anika walked closer to the painting. Still normal, just her and her brother, and--wait. Was this painting... Glowing?
