I'll be starting on Wendsday!  Ugh Wendsday is one of those words that I know I spell wrong every time but I don't know the proper spelling. 

PART 1

Dawn ran down the deserted alleyway, chasing a young man.  She'd seen him around a few times, and knew his name-Bradley- but never would've guessed he'd be a Rebel.  He seemed like a nice enough guy to her.  Still, that didn't change the fact that had stolen an important shipment of food and was now about to escape.  Normally she'd let it go, but Silvertoe only recieved food shipments once every two weeks, and without one of them a lot of people would go hungry.  She was Star, she was a Hero.  It was her job to prevent that.

Bradley was insanely fast, and Dawn had to push herself to keep up with him.  She closed her eyes and tried to focus on channeling a strand of starlight into a tripwire in front of him.  Bradley smirked, thinking he would get away, and then fell on his face.  Dawn couldn't help but laugh as she molded the starlight into a rope tying him up.  She'd actually caught the man notorious for being the fastest in Silvertoe.  He silently glared daggers at her. "Alright," she said, trying to sound professional. "I'll be taking that stolen food shipment of yours."

Bradley laughed scofflingly. "So you really think that's what it is?  Wow."

"But- that IS what's in the crates, right?" she asked, keeping her eyes on him.  He was trying to distract her, she knew it.

"Take a look for yourself," Bradley told her.

"You know, I'm only doing this because I don't like seeing anyone in prison," she said, bending down next to the crates that he had dropped when he fell. "Otherwise I would be turning you in right now."

But as she examined the splintered wood and peered inside, she didn't see the typical canned goods and fresh produce she was used to.  Instead, the box was filled with files and papers. "What is this? she muttered to herself as she examined the documents.  The first she picked up was typed in the format of a lab report.  The heading was- Radioactivity and Its Potential Effects On the Human Body.  "Oh, it's just one of those reports from when the plant exploded."

But then she noticed a file in the bottom of the crage labeled The Hercules Project.  Intruiged, she lifted it out but then dropped it suddenly when she remembered what she was supposed to be doing.  She looked over where Bradley had been tied up but he was gone, leaving only a few claw marks.  The other two crates were gone too.  Dawn sighed and repacked the crate.  You got distracted again, she scolded herself.  So much for that.  But she had found something interesting.  She packed the remaining crate back up and hauled it out of the alleyway.  She'd have to investigate this further.

Later that night, Bradley and his fellow rebels gathered in Cameron's apartment above the local taco resteraunt.  This was an exellent secret hideout, he mused, as he munched on a delicious shrimp taco. "How'd it go?" Sophie asked, somewhat expecting a bad result.

"Fine, thanks!"he snapped.  Sophie always underestimated him. "Well... I got two of the packages, but that Star girl kinda found me and to get away I let her take the other one."

"You WHAT?!" Cameron blurted. "Those were top-secret!  If one of those annoying Heroes  finds out what  we're investigating, we're over!"

Space Cat frowned, relaxing with her feet on Cameron's coffee table. "Don't stress that much, Cameron.  Star's only a kid, she'll probably just think it's a ploy to distract her."

"Maybe..." Sophie muttered. "We'll have to keep our guard up though."

So that's the first part!  I didn't use everyone's charries, but if you didn't see yours be assured that they will be prominent in the story.  I'd love to hear your feedback, and part 2 will be out next week!

@Sterling, can I change my name and age? I guess i wrote my CB name, because I'm so used to ski lodges. If I'm allowed to, I'm changing it to Jax, and the age to 17. Thx and sorry 4 the inconvenience!
