I couldn't find a thread specifically for what I had in mind, so here it is for you guys!
I decided to create this for literally anything fan/fanfiction related. Whether you want to shout about a ship, talk about a trope, or rant about something random, this thread is for you. You DON'T have to provide context, you don't even have to specify your fandoms. Just type whatever you want! For me, I'll likely post many replies with about as much context as the following:
"ugggggh why won't these guys get together and why is it so hard to write fanfiction with them and can they just please kiss? Also Morgana can you like go away?"
This place is for both intellectual discussions and utter nonsense. It's here for that scene and those lines. It's here for you to speak, and it's here for you to be heard. Whether an author, avid reader of fanfiction, or just a fan, this is the place for you.

HOW I WRITE FANFICTION (aka how not to write fanfiction)
Step 1: Create an idea. Do you want this to be a shipping,au or dark fic?
Step 2: begin to write
Step three: Collapse into an eternity of darkness. You cannot write this.
Step 4: You cannot write this. You will never ever write this. Surrender. Allow the darkness to consume you. You are within the madness. The madness has become you.
Step 5: INspiration! Type on and on until the mad dash of words fades away,as all does in life.
Step 6: If you cannot even type a story about a childrens cartoon then what are you? What mark can you possibly make on this earth? The sorrow builds within you. You unleash it. Screamming and writhing your rage and sorrow incompasses you.
Step 7:Actually no. You know just how to finish the chapter!
Step eight: But what of the next chapter? Once again your maddening sorrow consumes you...
Step nine; Continue untill bored.
Step ten: Watch a new show and begin the process again.

I found a new show.
I had just binge watched the entire two seasons of gravity falls for the 45th time that month.
And then i found....
THE OWL HOUSE.
Literally the entire thing was perfect. The characters,the tone,the mystery,the humour...
THE SHIPPING.
And then something horrible happened.
It ended.
Season two begins in 45 days.
I will be meditating untill then.
My aes will take over my account.

I don't read too much fanfiction, but the ones I do read are usually pretty amazing! Lucky me! I do want to write fanfiction at some point. It just sounds fun to me :)

Amity is a young witch. She wishes that she wasn't so ri-itch. Cause her parents are giant jerks on the boiling isles.
Demons. People. Demons that look like people! Creatures. Crawling in the ni-ight.
Dancing. Together. First scene like this in disney histry!
Fighting. Monsters. In the night!
