I couldn't find a thread specifically for what I had in mind, so here it is for you guys!
I decided to create this for literally anything fan/fanfiction related. Whether you want to shout about a ship, talk about a trope, or rant about something random, this thread is for you. You DON'T have to provide context, you don't even have to specify your fandoms. Just type whatever you want! For me, I'll likely post many replies with about as much context as the following:
"ugggggh why won't these guys get together and why is it so hard to write fanfiction with them and can they just please kiss? Also Morgana can you like go away?"
This place is for both intellectual discussions and utter nonsense. It's here for that scene and those lines. It's here for you to speak, and it's here for you to be heard. Whether an author, avid reader of fanfiction, or just a fan, this is the place for you.

OMG I HAVE FOUND MY PEOPLE! I love writing fan fics, most of them are pretty stupid, but all of them are about DC comics.

I'm currently reading The Arithmancer (HP fanfic following Hermione in a world where she's a "maths" whiz and tests into Arithmancy her first year), which is almost almost almost as good as Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality (one of my favorite books of all time).

yES! I love methods of rationality! I also like harry the hufflepuff, where harry is especially lazy, and Oh no, not again! where harry steps into the veil and goes back in time. both are incredibly hilarious XD i also really dislike fics that bash ron. like, ron's a great character, but the majority of harry/hermione slytherin aus make him seem like a terrible person?? like, no, ron's awesome! XD

Also, I write fanfic! I write fluffy oneshots and I have a WIP Klance Blade of Marmora scavenger hunt story (makes so much more sense when you read it).

Haha, relatable! I really got interested in fanfic about a year ago, when a friend sent me some Klance stuff, but it feels like so much longer..... I've only been seriously writing since March but it feels like it's been half my life!
