New Role Play Story!
Anyone who wants to join can! Let's try to keep the archnemeses (plural of nemesis is nemeses, Admin) down to a max of five, persay; same with the heroes. Let's get cracking, shall we?
The young woman sprang through the undergrowth of the forest. Her clothing helped her blend in with the forest, but she did not need the camoflage. Her hunting knife lay across her right hip, and her quiver and bow across her back, both within easy reach. Her brown locks flew out behind her, her brown eyes wide with fear. The men behind her must not discover Rihana! She attempted to increase her speed in vain; the day's events had exausted her. Somewhere behind her, she heard a shout. The men were almost upon her! She spun around and halted to draw her hunting knife from it's sheath. A knife shot out from nowhere, hitting it's target in the side. The maiden collapsed, unconscious , just as the men appeared out of the forest now in front of her. As the men carried her out of the forest, her hair fell back, revealing a single, perfectly pointed ear.

@bird-issue: Oh, really, that was Dawnpaw's bird? I thought it was just a random evil bird. Well, if Dawnpaw comes back, and it is her charactor, Alanna's shot didn't kill the bird, it's just unconcious.
@lack-of-people: Actually, I think most essentail people are here (no offense to any other people!). Mary, Mango, you (Megan), and me. I'd still like to continue. Maybe the bird flies off and reports to the asassins (because they are working for them) and Helena and the others fly into the glade-santuary-thingy, only to find the four elves (Surinta, Selina, Allanna, Surina) and Rihana (who isn't strictly an elf, I guess) gone. They went to. . .Well, actually I don't know where they should go. So, what do you think? If we can, please continue!

Sounds good to me. But now we need to figure out what the plot is! Ahh! I was so caught up in escaping that I didn't realize that we had no plot! We need a plot! This next part has been omitted for your convienence, as it only includes lines such as, "PLOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". You are now free to continue. -The Voices (aka the sane ones)
So. Plot? I think that I heard some stuff about Surina being the "Chosen One", or something along those lines.
Also, if we find that we absolutely need characters, we can take on characters in order to keep the thread alive. If the owner of that character returns, they will be allowed to use that character again. Agreed?

So yeah, we need a plot other than "Elves are captured. Helena says something sarcastic. Elves cry; Helena cries. Elves escape. Helena angsts." Sounds like something out of Eragon...
Anyone have any brilliant suggestions?

Surinta crashed to the ground. Tumbling into a boulder, she moaned and held her leg. She hadn't been in this much pain since... since.... since before she could remember. Struggling to stand, she leaned against the boulder. It rolled a little, sending Surinta crashing to the ground. She cried out, and her vision went black for a moment. Blinking, she saw the giant bird wobble slightly and take off. "Nooooo!" she shouted, sending the forest creatures fleeing in terror. Crawling toward the bird, she lifted her arm to the sky, hoping to stop it. But it was useless, and Surinta knew it. Then her legs crumpled, and she lost conciousness again.
When she awoke, she saw three figures above her. Her vision cleared a little, and she realized they were Alanna, Silena, and... wait! The other being was a stranger. What had happened while she was daydreaming? Gritting her teeth, Surinta sat up. "Are you okay?" the stranger asked, clearly concerned. Surinta nodded, though everyone knew she was in pain. "Come on. We'll heal your leg at Rihana's house," Alanna said soothingly, helping Surinta to her feet. So the stranger was called Rihana. Wait- where was the giand hawk? "The bird... the bird... it-"Surinta managed to get out before she collapsed again. Her companions stared at her. "What- bird..." Silena said, realizing what had happened. The elves-and half elf-braced themselves. For the assasins had finally found them.

Okay, so we have Alanna, Surina, Surinta, Selina, and Rihana on the good side and Helena and her team of assassins (that haven't been in the story much, lately) on the bad side. Lets see . . . Maybe we skip forward, like, ten, twelve years? All the good guys have spent these years hiding and running from Helena and her crew. Now, Surina is 10 (or twelve, depending on how far ahead we go) and has some sort of amazing magical powery stuff. Helena could capture someone (Alanna, Selina, Rihana, or Surinta) and Surina and the others have to find a way to save them. Hmmm. Not my best idea.
So about the HelenaxValour, you mean they're like together???!!!! NEVER would have guessed in 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years! We could add that into the story. Hmmm. Maybe Helena has a daughter (although I really don't see her as the mothery type!) that is (about) Surina's age. That daughter could be training to be an assasain, but ends up friends with Surina and helps her escape . . . Again, not my best ideas. Just spent a long day of school being tortured in algerbra and learing about pronouns, nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, etc. My brain just wants to turn off! Blech. I guess I'll have to go do homework, now. *complains about having to make-up work from when she was sick* *sighs dramatically* *rambles* *wastes time* *forces herself to stop typing and start working* *types code thingy* *hits submit*

Yeah, I dunno either, really. It is getting to a good part, but how can a few-weeks-old baby be a "Chosen One"?? Someone else could be! Maybe Rihana!

I like that idea, Rihana being the "Chosen One". I must admit that I am with Mary Liz on this-- they're redundant and predictable. If you guys want a Chosen One, we can do it, I just don't know whether it totally fits with the story line. Chosen Ones aside, we still really need a plot. Otherwise we will just be running around randomly in the forest until the apocalypse. Any ideas?

Maybe Surina isn't just a few-weeks-old baby! Maybe she is really a shapeshifter like the one who came into the story but then left. Okay... maybe not..... But really, if (sorry for the reference) Harry Potter was a Chosen One before he was even born, then why can't Surina be one when she's a month old? Let's have the skipping-ahead thing, but only after we resolve the problem of the ASSASSINS TRYING TO INVADE RIHANA'S HOME!!!!!! Sorry... just got a little carried away there... Hey, whoever has those Sane Voices? Can i borrow them for a while? *gets on knees and pleads* PLEASE!!! PLE-E-EASE!!!! (We now interrupt Mango due to her total meltdown and tell her to behave for everyone. You may now continue. -The Voices)

Aha! So that's where my voices went! No wonder i've been going through Writer's Withdrawl. Without my inspirational voices, I am lost. You may borrow them, but after having used them, please return them to me, as I am, well, not quite right in the head without them!
