NEW SUPERPOWERS ROLEPLAY
well, i would have just joined another rp but they arent as active as i like.
so im starting my own.
hopefully.
i'm not the best rp starter, so i could use a hand.
This rp is for characters with superpowers. you can be a hero or a villain or neutral or whatever, as long as you follow a few rules.
1. your super must be a human, or humanoid at least, even if it can shapeshift, which is fine.
2. your super can have virtually any powers, within reason. for example, though your super may be impervious to bullets, or fire, it cannot be invincible. it must have a weakness.
3. you must create a bio, or description, of your character.
4. your bio must include the following: name, secret identity(optional), age, gender, appearance, personality, power(s), strengths, weaknesses, background(optional), and anything else you want to add.
MY CHARACTER:
name: Hailee
secret identity: Shadow Runner
age: 17 years
gender: girl
appearance: she always wears a black bodysuit, black gloves with needle-sharp claws poking through, boots, a black ninja-type mask, and a thin semi-transparent piece of fabric covering her eyes. thus, when you look at her, she is all black. underneath, her skin is covered in aqua-blue scales, her eyes are vivid icy blue, and she has sharp fangs. she painted her claws black to match her suit. these characteristics make her seem more reptile than human, but she wasnt always this way.
personality: meet her
powers: can shapeshift into any reptile, including the mythical ones. if she bites someone, her fangs deliver venom. she can dissolve into shadow.
strengths: shadow form is more difficult to defeat.
weaknesses: venom does not kill, only makes the victim weak and nauseas for a few moments, enough for her to escape. shadow form does not work in sunlight.
background: when she was twelve, she was bittin by a radioactive cobra, recieving her powers, and soon after was taken to a lab and experimented on, the results being her appearance, and amnesia.

I see Metalshade talking to someone outside the group... oh no. Copycat. I pull my mask back up and sneak around the edge of the group until i'm standing behind Copycat, and i gesture to Metalshade to let her go. I retreat to the shadows and signal her to follow me, pausing on the way to whisper in Metalshade's ear.
"Make sure you listen to our conversation because i might have to leave." Once in the shadows, i hiss to Copycat, "What are you doing here?"

"What are you doing here?" Runner hisses, a tone of annoyance in her voice. I pout, a mocking gleam in my eyes. "Can't blame a girl for being curious." I stretch, ignoring her serious, still stance. "What an interesting group you've found yourself with." My appearance flickers, going through all the heroes I've seen here. I settle on Birdsong's appearance. "Say, isn't the curly hair nice?" I comment.
"Answer the question."
I yawn, stretching as I switch back to regular. "Was just passing by. Can you blame me?" I ask, then, before she has the chance to talk, step forward. "Speaking of blame. I heard a little rumor that you were organizing this meeting. Of course, me stumbling upon it was a coincidence, but tell me, what's this about a mask?"
"I'm doing all I can to make them trust me." Is her reply, short and clipped. Her hands are clenched into fists, her claws at the ready.
"Oh really." I switch appearances again, going to Avechventa--ah, I'll call her Venta, 'heroes' don't deserve good names anyway--'s appearance. I run a hand through my curls. "What's this about the headquarters, then, Runner?" I ask, my tone playful.
She...worries me. I doubt she's planning a double-cross, but her little escapade, designed to trick the 'heroes', may lead them directly to us...

I huff. "There will only be two or so of the, 'most powerful supers', at headquartes." I force myself to assume a mocking tone. "The rest will be at the old warehouse, and the few at HQ will be easily overrun or at least held back by Boss's thugs and whoever's guarding HQ. As for the rest, Boss, Slayer, thugs, anyone else who ambushes them will be plenty. These so-called superheroes can only afford the most basic training they can give themselves."
"I meant why are you telling them the location? You could easily say that you'd give them the location at tomorrow night's meeting."
"I would, but they were about ready to shred me. Not that they'd be able to, but i'd lose my chance. I know some of us enjoy hunting them down one by one, but i'm not one of them and i'd rather get it done quickly."
Copycat shrugs. "Suit yourself."
I snap my claws as if i've had an idea. "Tell Boss i want to talk to him tonight."
Copycat nods uncertainly. "Alright, Runner. I will."

Um, yeah! A bio for the Boss would be cool. Also, possibly could Mirage have been in contact with Mist or another villain? I feel like it might be nice to have a slight rivalry between them, like they knew each other before however Mirage turned good?

So I came up with a really cool idea for a neutral character, and here they are.
Name: Gerard Pullman
Secret Identity: Wraith
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Appearance: Wears a black ninja like outfit with no mask, but a cloth wrapped around mouth so you can't see it. Tall, with fair skin, dark eyes, and dark brown hair. Has some stubble
Personality: Cold and calculating. He actually has a fear of speaking (he is selectively mute, meaning he can speak but he chooses not to), claustrophobia, and the ocean. He's more of a vigilante/antihero than a normal superhero and he hates working in a group.
Powers: Teleportation
Strengths: Uses bombs, he teleports around planting them everywhere and then he teleports away to a safe distance to detonate them. He's a skilled hand to hand fighter and is good with guns.
Weaknesses: Horrible at working in a group, extremely untrusting. Also, from using his bombs so much he has 60 percent hearing loss.
Background: When he was 10 and Slayer was 25, Slayer kidnapped him and experimented on him, trying to turn him into a supersoldier of sorts. He gained teleportation, but a loss of most of his emotions. (He lacks an aura.) He was trained by Slayer, until he escaped at the age of 15. Ever since, he's been a vigilante, killing criminals like gang leaders and stuff. Although he's saved a lot of people, he is wanted because the media portrays him as a supervillain and a heartless killer, because once he accidentally collapsed a building when trying to get Slayer, which killed over thrity people. Right now, he's trying to wreck Slayer's headquarters in revenge for what Slayer did to him.
Other: So I think it would lead to some interesting drama if Wraith were to save Mirage's life, since Mirage works with the police and would probably view him as a villain.

If he was a little bit younger I think it would be BRILLIANT to ship him and Caelonia. Like, she could reawaken some of his emotions...? IDK just spewing thoughts.

Interesting character! I think there could be some friction between them, however I don’t think Mirage would simply label him as a villain because he had been on the wrong side of the law before so he would know how it felt to be called that... however Mirage would be weary of Wraith. And yeah that would be interesting if Wraith saves Mirages life. Dynamics would change!

I see a couple of the supers chatting with Mirage from my web hammock perch. As I lie down on the hammock I notice some people in the shadows talking, and I see Hailee is one of them!
I crawl across the brick wall towards them, and then notice who the other person is. It's Copycat!!!!

YES ROGUE YES I would love to ship him and Caelonia! Here, Gerard is now 19. So now he was 9 when he was kidnapped by Slayer. However, I'm still keeping it so he didn't escape until he was 15, so now he was trained by Slayer for six years.
Also, another little side note about Gerard-- He doesn't know much about modern life because he was kidnapped at such a young age. For example, if you were to mention something about a celebrity, Gerard wouldn't understand at all. All he knows is what he's picked up from being on the run. So very basic knowledge.
And yes, his feelings do have potential to come back. It just might take some time--or a few near-death experiences. Also, the reason he chose to be mute was because he is actually very fearful of speaking. Slayer would punish him whenever he tried to talk, so Gerard believes that everybody else will punish him if he speaks too.
Alright that was really really long for a side note. I'm going to write Gerard in thrid person for a little bit until I get used to role-playing him.
Gerard Pullman, aka Wraith--
He slipped into the police station under the cover of darkness. The officers on duty didn't realize he was there, as they were watching more obvious entrances like windows and doors. Gerard had gotten in by climbing through the vents.
He placed a bomb carefully next to the base of a filing cabinet in the storage closet. He teleported outside of the closet, a safe distance away, before pulling out his small detonator. He clicked the button on it.
There was an instant explosion from the closet. Sirens went off only a few seconds later as Gerard teleported away. He teleported behind a desk. The room was empty because all the officers had left to go investigate the explosion.
Gerard quickly searched the word 'Slayer' in the documents of the computer. Many documents came up, and he quickly scrolled through them. He stopped when he found what he was looking for-- a document labeled "Possible location of Slayer hideout" .
He opened the document and read it quickly. As soon as he finished, he heard footsteps coming towards the room.
He teleported away, but forgot to turn off the computer.
