I'm back! In time for Halloween!
Boy, it's been a while! When was I last here, January?
Anyway, Time for a RP! A RP loosely based on the works of a certain author whose last name is King!
Welcome to the Overfeld Estate, once the manor of renowned scientist Alabaster Overfeld (who was almost certainly a madman, but we won't dwell on that). The estate, which was converted into a hotel in the early seventies, has seen many ups and downs--and gruesome deaths--is currently in the middle of one of those downs. There are only about six people in the entire hotel at the moment, and they aren't sure they should be staying at all, but the night is cold and the snow blocks the exits. One by one, they all notice that something is wrong with this place... or maybe with each other.
Okay, other info!
1. Each person is connected to a spirit haunting the hotel. The spirits are not benevolent in the least, and are pretty much just out to get you.
2. Alabaster Overfeld is dead.
3. Speaking of Overfeld, the man was known for his... erm... experiments. It is recommended that no one investigate his old laboratory.
4. Alabaster Overfeld is not alive.
5. Cats are not to be trusted here.
6. The hotel advises that everyone lock their doors at night.
7. Trust no one.
8. OVERFELD DIED IN 1945. HE IS NOT WATCHING YOU. GO BACK TO BED AND KEEP YOUR EYES CLOSED TIGHTLY UNTIL SUNRISE.

Name: Min-seo Moon

Appearance: Pale, brown-undertone skin, almond eyes which are naturally brown (she is wearing blue contacts), black hair in a faux-hawk with fading blue dye clinging to the strands. She wears a loose white shirt and tight black pants, giving her the appearance of some sort of fluffed-up bird. She has one dimple, developed from smiling with only the right corner of her mouth. She wears blue lipstick and heavy eyeliner.
Personality: Min-seo Moon is a fearless explorer of the paranormal, and is writing a novel based on her findings around the world. She is almost always half-smiling; if she is not smiling, something bad is happening. Something very bad. She is very dramatic, and likes to make big entrances wherever she goes. She is easy to get along with, and very humorous.
Destination, before you were forced to stop at the hotel: Her destination WAS the hotel, actually! Armed with enough ghost-hunting tech to make Egon Spengler blush, she's making her way through the hallways one by one looking for weird goings-on!

What the spirit connected to you is like/why it's out to get you/what it wants: The spirit(s) attached to her are five shadow-like cats with glowing orbs of light in place of their eyes. They want her to follow them.

Appearance: She's tall, built a lot like Squirrel Girl, if anyone knows what Squirrel Girl looks like. She has short, messy dark hair that flops over one eye. She has grey-ish eyes. She wears an olive-drab military jacket with a camo shirt underneath and ripped jeans with combat boots.
Personality: She's kind of like Han Solo. She's kind of reckless, and she's snarky and witty, but she's got a heart of gold and cares a lot about her friends.
Destination, before you were forced to stop at the hotel: Anywhere besides where she was.

Oh hi Brooke! I've been off and on myself this year, been back for about a month now and started another RP (you probably saw it).
Ahh, don't know if I'm gonna have time for this, but this is totally my kind of thing so let me put down a provisional reservation that I may withdraw at a later time.

Hey Winter! There are pretty much no rules. Your spirit can look like a demon, it can be a little girl, it can look like an animal... anything goes, really. Just don’t make your ghost too OP!

Here goes. Tell me if I'm doing this wrong, or if I'm going too dark with this. I tend to go too dark with things I write.
What the spirit connected to you is like/why it's out to get you/what it wants: Alex's spirit is shaped like a human but wispier, and wears a military uniform. Alex isn't sure what it wants, but it reminds her of someone she used to know, which is why she tries to avoid the spirit. That and the fact that it's, you know, a random creepy spirit.

Appearance: Rebecca has long reddish hair, Split by two hair ties, she has blue eyes, and wears a yellow flower on her head. Her normal attire is a white shirt with a yellow mid-skirt (Is that what it's called? Because it's not long and it's not short)
Personality: She is a pessimistic. She seems to find a way to connect things to death or just very bored. Nothing really excites her, except for one thing. She's poetic and tends to be dark.

Name: Dr. Deryn Peters
Age (20+, because you need to be old enough to be travelling by yourself): 23
Appearance: He has sharp, angular features, his ginger hair is in a messy quiff with tapered sides, his face is complimented by a short, scruffy beard. His silver eyes shimmer in the light, often hidden behind his brown tinted sunglasses, making him look like an fbi agent sometimes. His normal attire is a white shirt, with black pants, high boots, accompanied by a tan trenchcoat, with two black buttons in the front. He often carries his doctor's bag with him, but if the occastion that he drops it (or leaves it when fleeing) He has a first aid kit in the pocket of his trenchcoat. His appearence makes him look like a fancy FBI agent.
Personality: He has a very sarcastic, not too brave. He can be very hostile and cold to strangers, this characteristic is normally used when he feels embarrassed, unsafe, unsure, or any strong emotion along those lines. (Happens a lot.) He has Claustrophobia (irrational fear of small spaces), Necrophobia (extreme fear of death), and Automatonophobia (the fear of wax figures, humanoid robots, audio-animatronics, or other figures designed to represent humans). So he can be jumpy. He often tries to patch up a wound when one first gets it, drilling them on questions that are irelivent. (anyone seen that star treck movie when Mcoy acks Spock his favorite color before he pulls out the metal that went into him? yeah, like that.)
