Dystopian future rp I guess??
So, I've been looking around, and I think I get how these work. This is my first rp! I hope I'm doing it right :)
In this rp, once citizens of the world turn 16, they are required to take a test that will help them 'find their place in the world'. This test determines who your friends will be, who your spouse will be, what your career will be, how many kids you're allowed to have, how well you'll do in high school, etc. Citizens are expected to play the role they are given perfectly, whether they like it or not. Typically, the test is accurate enough about what kind of future people would prefer, so our characters are pretty excited about finding out their futures. But the system malfunctions, giving our characters the exact opposite of what path they want to go down and who they want to assosciate with. Through their trials, our characters form a friendship and secretly plan to overthrow the system.
The tests are monthly, so if your character has a birthday on January 13th, they'll take the test January first when they're still 15. In this case, our characters all have June birthdays. Each person may have two characters. I will post mine later.

Name: Dana Ripley
Gender: Female
Appearance: Dark red hair put in a braided bun. Dark brown eyes surrounded with colorful makeup. Wears bright clothes like tie-die shirts(If these still exist in this future) and shorts.
Personality: Energetic, extroverted. Likes to talk, loves music, fairly hippyish. Pretty idealistic and brave, but sucks at being empathetic and will usually tease you about it instead of helping you. Rather dumb, but has good street smarts.
Test results they hope for: Musician.
Test results they hope not to get: Doctor. She's incredibly squeamish.

Oh Shoot, forgot strengths and weaknesses! Sorry!
Strengths and Weaknesses: She's not very empathetic and is horrible at making people feel better. Is pretty dumb when it comes to history, math, school subjects. Hates blood, and sometimes rushes into a situation too fast and will do something before thinking about it. However, that means she's a pretty brave person and also pretty friendly. Oh, and I guess she's on the athletic side.

Gender: Female
Appearence: Short, silky, dark brown haired bob, light skin, likes to wear tank tops and shorts. Blue-green eyes.
Personality: Loves to have fun, and is extemely extroverted. She's friends with a lot of people. Talkative, and always smiles. Like, always. Pretty brave, her biggest fear is heights.
Test results they hope for: Actress. Are Broadway and movies still a thing in th future?
Test results they hope not to get: Teacher. She doesn't really like kids too much.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Tries too hard to be liked, and relies on people. She is also Open Minded, and creative.

appearance: Shoulder-length raven-black hair with a slight curve to the cut like a bob, diagonal bangs, ice-blue eyes, pale skin, always wears black
personality: Rarely speaks, seems aloof, often her comments are dryly sarcastic and surly, and she kind of makes that her outer shell, stubborn, introverted, a softie on the inside but never lets anyone know what she's feeling, kind of emo
test results she hopes for: Flying a jet for like a sercret service or an engineer

strengths and weaknesses: Can keep her cool in bad situations, also a physics and engineering genius, but also very, very stubborn when she's absolutely certain she's right and she kind of deters people because of her manner and the way she comes across

Gender: Female
Appearance: Loosely curly chestnut brown hair with natural golden streaks (about shoulder length, if not a bit longer). Fair skin with a slight tan tint, lots of freckles. Turquoise eyes with gold flecks. Slim, athletic, average height. Wears whatever she feels like wearing.
Personality: Funny, sarcastic, extremely smart. She’s brave, curious, creative, and adventurous. She is mischievous, however, and is awful at following rules. She doesn’t mind at all taking risks, and always has something to say back to authority. But she isn’t rude necessarily, she’s just smarter than most of her elders.
Test results they hope for: Artist. She’s very artistic and loves expressing herself through art.
Test results they hope not to get: Scientist. She’s great at science, but she thinks being a scientist would be so boring.
Strengths: Creative, smart, curious, good at lying
Weaknesses: Doesn’t follow rules, too quick to take risks, trust issues

Name: Heather Casella
Age: 15, turns 16 on the 3rd
Gender: Female
Appearance: Big green eyes, light brown skin, freckles. Big, curly hair. Very beautiful, but doesn't notice it. Very tall. Always has her nails painted.
Personality: Very intelligent, sees things from a different perspective than most people do. She doesn't talk much, can seem a bit cold at first but in reality she enjoys being around people and is very friendly. Is very cautious, but doesn't loose her cool easily.
Test results they hope for: She's always wanted to be an archaeologist.
Test results they hope not to get: She would hate to be a veterinarian, she has a huge fear of animals.
Strenghts and weaknesses: She can keep a clear head under pressure, has great leadership skills, very intelligent. Good at solving puzzles. Very cautious, but curious. She never wants to be a burden to anyone, and always feels like no one wants her there. Doesn't trust easily. Sometimes can be a little too cautious. Doesn't believe in herself or her abilities.

Personality: Doesn't understand how the world works, wants friends but people don't really like her, very optimistic.
Test results they hope for: Author. She wants to create worlds of her own.
Test results the hope not to get: Teacher. You have to understand and explain stuff too much for her to understand.
Strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths: Creative, has an optimistic personality.
Weaknesses: She doesn't know how to behave according to what the moment needs.

Sorry guys, I was so busy the past few days and then I completely forgot about this! We can start now, haha.
Heather's eyelids fluttered open.
Today was the day.
Heather sat up in her bed, eagerly pushing aside her spotless white sheets. Today was the one day she didn't have trouble getting up. She moved around the other cylinder-shaped beds, being careful not to wake any of the others. Rows of sleeping 15 and 16 year olds filled the room, each person dreaming of the near future they would recieve. In about 15 minutes, an alarm would sound through the intercom, and a robotic voice would instruct the other teenagers to wake and prepare for the test.
The test.
The one thing Heather has been waiting for her whole life. The one thing everyone has been waiting for their whole lives!
She better not screw this up.

*Bolts through RP door* *huff puff* Man! Sorry guys! I meant to post, but my life has been very complicated this past week. But I’m here now!
Name: Suzanna Grace Lindburg
Age: 16
Gender: F
Appearance: Very dark blond curly hair, that slowly melts into a hazelnut brown color, blue eyes with a touch of green, light tan skin, usually wears skinny sweatpants, and a sweater.
Personality: Sort of quiet around peeps she doesn’t know, is comfortable around boys, kind, compassionate, very funny and she can be sarcastic, loves animals, curling up on a couch and is totally content with being alone, but is more of a people person. She loves all kinds of “oldies”, like music, movies and styles. (I guess that would be stuff from now...) She can be headstrong on a few subjects, but mostly try’s to be a peacemaker.
Test results she hopeed for: To be a graphic designer
Test results she hopes not to get: An author. She is awe full at writing.
