A figure stood at the base of the mountain, his brown cloak blowing in the wind. The creases on his face showed signs of aging, but the man was still very strong. His brow sat low above his eyes, and he seemed as if he was watching something on the mountain very closely.
Then the man began to climb. It wasn't long until the man reached the peak of the mountain. He drew something out of his cloak, thrusting it into the air. Seven pieces of paper fluttered in the wind, drifting down, heading for the village below.

..
Èolith trudged along the cobblestone path leading through the village. She pulled her coat tighter around her body as the snow began to fall. Suddenly, she noticed something blow by her face. Èolith snatched the piece of parchment from the chilly air.
Child,
The north is calling. We must arise once again. The strong. The fearless. The warriors. The hunters and the huntresses. The seekers. The wanderers. The ones who will make up our small party. Come, join us. Find your journey. Come to the top of Fuar Peak. Gather with us. We will be strong once again.
Arlerac, Huntsman of the North.
Èolith gasped. There was a small symbol beside the signature. The mark of the Dragon Hunters. She could only imagine what this meant.
Many years ago, the legendary Dragon Hunters had braved the snowy mountains of north Daklur. Some thought that while up there, the hunters and huntresses fought and stayed dragons, protecting the village below. Others claimed that these men and women tamed the dragons, creating an alliance. Only a true Dragon Hunter knew. These people were both admired and feared. And becoming one was only for the strong willed and not for the weak of heart. A few years ago, however, the Dragon Hunters were banned from the village, and one by one, they began to disappear, until they became just a myth. When the Dragon Hunters were gone, the dragons began to slowly close in on the village, expanding their territory farther and farther down the mountains, until it wasn't even safe to be beyond the forest at the base of Fuar Peak after sundown.
However, there was once a prophecy that a time like this would come. And it was only the rise of a bigger evil. It was said that seven would be chosen. Seven children. They would be the next generation of Dragon Hunters.
Èolith had always loved hearing legends and stories of the Dragon Hunters. She had dreamed of becoming one herself. So when she read this piece of paper, there was no question that she would go to Fuar Peak. Èolith ran all the way home, forgetting about the cold, her head filled with wonderings about what the other six would be like.

If you've read this far, great job! As you probably guessed, this is an RP. I hope that the snippets I posted were self explanatory.
-Be kind and respectful, always (this one is kinda obvious).
-No OP charries.
-I will accept 7-10 charries, that's it. Six of these will be the next generation of Dragon Hunters and Huntresses, and I'll allow some older dragon hunters such as Arlerac. I'm going to start with a one charrie per person limit, but if not enough people join, then maybe I'll allow extras.
-Try and develop your charries. Really try. If you write a one sentence personality, I might not accept your charrie.

Maybe the thing Ever saw was the henchman esquire was talking about, and it came to hurt pezman, again cause the henchman didn't want pezman to tell anyone anything?
Just a idea, but how does it sound? and Esquire ideas sound good.

Ok sorry it took so long for me to post, I was just waiting for someone else to post, so I sorrta know the situation better. Also, can you make a list of all the characters so far? And is there anyone I can ship Sky with? I think I'm going to make her bi, so girls or boys.
Also, does anyone want to join the RP I made? It needs, like, alot more people.
Skydream~
I shift the bag on my back, a tattered cotten one with details of dragon's soaring in the sky. It was heavy, heavy with things I couldn't leave behind. In the dark corner where no one could see me and I could see no one, and where I was hopefully out of ear shot, I whispered "how are you doing in there?"
Shuffling. And then, "I could use some air....."
I paused, listening. Echoes of conversations rebounded off the walls, but none seemed all that close. "Ok." I said finally, swinging the bag off my shoulder and onto the ground. The flap covering the things within shifted and undid itself. Out popped a little boy, my little brother. He stood up, stretched his arms, and looked around. "Better then our place." He scoffed.
And he wasn't even being sarcastic. They had lived on the streets, with the other homeless beggars, working for little money and stealing most of their things.
Except the necklace around her neck. The gift their sister had gotten me a year back, just before she disappeared. The others said that she had died, but secretly I believed she lived. Somewhere far away from the stupid town. And she was also clearly missing her family.
"Mmmm, I'm hungry." Wolf said, stretching his legs. "And thirsty. But of course we have none of that."
"I'm sure some of the others do." I said. "Maybe we could....ask?"
"You mean you." My brother corrected. "I'm not supposed to be here, remember?"
"Right." I said, a little anxious. I hadn't really gotten to know the others at all, not even their names, I had been too worried about my secret luggage to really pay attention. And then too winded on the hike up cause of my heavy baggage to ask any questions.
"So.....?" Wolf started.
"Ya, ok, get back in the bag."
"Wait what?" Wolf protested, taking a step back.
"Oh, you thought I was leaving you, didn't you?" I chuckled. "Ya no, not happening. In the bag."
Wolf grumbled angrily but didn't protest. I knew he was thinking about our sister too, and how she disappeared when she was alone. That wasn't happening to my brother as long as I was around.
I slung the bag over my shoulder, and started back towards the others. Pausing, I took in the environment. Weren't there more kids then this? And where'd the dragons come from?
I nearly tripped and fell as my observation sunk in. "Guys!" I shouted, pointing at the dark beast. "There's a dragon in here!"
Nobody seemed alarmed, and most of them looked surprised to see that I existed. "Well, we're dragon hunters aren't we?" I asked, drawing my backup escape plan for any robbery gone wrong out of my boot, a shinny and dangerously sharp and thin saber. "So let's kill that dragon!"

The Dream
I wander through a dark forest, looking for...something. I call out to see if anyone is there, but only my own voice echoes back at me. I keep walking. a stick snaps with a loud crack behind me. I whirl around, but...there's nothing. I keep walking, looking warily from side to side. Something about this place...I don't know. Is something watching me? Suddenly, a huge shape swoops right over me, and circles around to land in front of me. I freeze. No. No, no, no. Not another one! It's one of the dragons that captured us. I try to run, in order to buy a little time, but now my feet are rooted to the spot. I wait for the dragon to say something, but it doesn't. It just circles around me, with a leering grin spread across its features. Rearing back its head, the dragon opens its jaws and I wait for the end to come. The dragon's blue fire blasts all around me, but somehow I'm not burning. I open my eyes. Strange pictures pass through the fire. I try to look closer, and...I recognize the pictures. they're pieces of my memories. Of my childhood. One especially large and bright scene floats past. What is it? I can't make it out, but for some reason...it seems to be...calling. But right as I reach my hand out into the flames and close my fingers around the picture, the flames and the dragon vanish, and the scenery lurches forward. And then I'm falling. Just falling. Down, down, down through complete darkness I fall. Then, a glint of blue light flashes far, far down, looming up closer all the while. The light gradually grows brighter and closer, and begins to illuminate whatever is around it. It's the jaws of an enormous dragon. Just as the jaws open wide to receive me.....
I awake in the middle of a strangled yell, right back in the prison. From the next cell, a weak voice calls."S-sora? Is that you? What's going on? Where are we?" "Arlerac!" I call shakily. You're awake!" "Yes, but what on earth is going on?" Arlerac insists. "N-nothing, just a dream," I reply. "Okay, then," he sighs.

Name: Azari Taresen
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: She has tan skin and eyes the color of fire. Her hair is glossy jet black and wavy, it goes down to her hips and she always wears it loose and wild. She is petite and slender, but very strong. She is very beautiful despite the long, jagged scar that runs down her left cheek.
Personality: Azari is a reckless free-spirit. She is clever and quick to speak, which often gets her in trouble. She has a fierce stubborn streak and gets in arguements constantly, but behind her firey demeanor she is kind, confident, and passionate. Given her past experiences, she does not trust others and is quite the loner. she loves animals and chocolate and hates those who are to prideful. She was born with a dangerous magical gift which she is ashamed of and tries to conceal.
Strengths: She is clever, confident, and passionate. She is a skilled warrior and hunter and was born with the gift of fire. Once she trusts someone, she is kind and loyal.
Weaknesses: She is reckless, stubborn and speaks before she thinks. She does not trust others, which leaves her with few allies.
Background: She was born to a dragon hunter, but was cast out because of her dragonlike gift when she was 9 years old. Hoping for refuge, she traveled to a village but was met with anger and fear and was attacked, recieving her scar. Terrified, she fled into the mountains where she was taken in by a nomad named Arisia, with whom she lived until age 14. At that point, Arisia was killed by dragons, and Azari was left to fend for herself, living in a cabin at the base of Fuar Peak, where she remains now.
Password: Dragontooth
Other: Azari doesn't need to be a dragon hunter, but I think she would make a good supporting character and I would love to see her story...
