Solo write continued!

Ya, Im starting another thread for this because no one looks at the last one any longer. I also want some new people to get into this, but be warned, it may get deep.

This solo write is called Doves in Hawks, two political parties gunning for the control of the country. The political leaders of each, the Queen of Doves and Emporer of Hawks, agreed to sivide the country. One side all doves, the other all hawks, and a wall seporating them. But they weren't done. Soon the Hawk emporer challanged the Dove queen. He sugested a war between them. And if she refused, he would attack anyway, for extra tarratory. She agreed.

Alright, so all the charries are childen 11 and up that were caught in this war. I AM ACCEPTING NO NEW CHARRIES. I am sticking with the charries that people already aplied with, and here are the origonal people bellow and their charries.

"Wait, I have a question." The nerdy-looking girl on the other side of the room raised her hand. The general nodded for her to continue. "What if someone in...this group lets say....is working for the Doves as a spy?"

I stiffened. Raine shot me a look. The rest looked unintrested. "Well then." The general said cooly, his eyes scanning the room. "They will be treated like any trator if found out."

He turned and walked from the room. When no one followed, he turned and yelled, "walk!" I quickly started fast-walking after him, ignoring the persence of Raine at my side. She never seems to give up, unfortunatly.

We followed the general, the boys who got in the fight in the lead, through open doors and to the back of the building. There I squinted my eyes to see rows of trucks, some already filled with supplise and people, others empty like they were filled with ghost soldiers.

Yelling filled the dusty rays of day, and I saw many soldiers, the older ones, moving supplise and ordering people. We walked silently to the last truck on the right, the folds covering the back still in the blazing heat. My heart beat with antisapation as the general rasied his voice to be heard over all the other clamer happening. "Climb in the truck. The drive will likeley take all day. There are emergency medical kits in the back, allong with cantines of water and small lunches. If you nead anything, tap on the window separating me from you, and we will stop immediately." He pulled back the folds to reveal a dim, boring, one-grey-colored storage area, with stacks of food and water allong the back and sides.

Reclulatly, the Asian boy stepped inside first, carfull not to brush his wounds against the truck. I could already see a black eye forming on the left side of his face, under the hedaband he was wearing.

The younger kids got inside next, one boy and two girls. Raine climbed in next, followed by her boyfriend who hadn't talked to her since the fight.

Now it was my turn. I stepped in, avoiding the gazes of all the kids alreday inside. I picked the darkest corner so I could hide in the shadows and avert the gazes of everyone. I could feal Raine's gaze on me though, and I tried not to meet that gaze.

The folds fell as the general dropped them and tied them together at the ends. A few heartbeats past before the truck started with a jolt that sent everyone leaning back. Nervouse whispers erupted as the truck begain fowards and smoke nd dust clouded our visions and lungs.

I tightly seeled my eyes shut and calmed my thundering heart. It's going to be okay. You're going to be alright. You will survive this. Even if you're the only one who wants you to live.

Peeling back the folds of the truck, I held my sister close as we emerged into the open. Her blond hair caught the cool sun, and a shiver sent down my back at the chill of a breeze. Mountains loomed all around us in every direction, and I gasped as I saw a fluffy white substance on the earth around us and on the tops of the mountaions. The camp was set just a little ways up the side of the mountain, and it was made of tents and camoflaged cabins made of wood.

Dove lept from my shoulders as the cool breeze ruffled her feathers and erupted into the mountain air. Daisy gripped my hand tightly as we watched her circle just a little above the camp, then swoop down.

We heard yells coming from withen the camp, and fear slowly gripped my heart. "Oh horsedung!" Daisy whispered before she bolted after the hawk.

I followed her, my legs awkward after the long journy. "Don't harm her!" I called out to the camp, waving my arms. "It's just a bird!"

Daisy jumped onto the nearest boulder and started her climb up the side of the mountain. The allarmed yells had ceased, and I knew we were both fearing the worst. My heart was pounding in my chest as words circled in my head. What will Columbidae think if we let that bird get killed the moment we arrived? How will Daisy react?

Soon we were at the entance of the camp, painting at the effort the climb had. Daisy kept running even though her face was beat red. "D-dove!" she called breathlessly, her word inturupted my a strangled gasp.

"Are you looking for this falcon?" A cool voice responded, emerging from the shadows. He was a tall man, maybe in his early twenties. In his arms was a cooing faclon, her head tilted up to his face.

My heart stopped. Daisy froze. Even before we saw his face we knew who he was. "COLUMBIDAE!" I screeched, running in to hug him.

Daisy paused, looking at her older brother that she didn't get to know that well. He smiled warmly at her, his arms opening to her. I stepped back as I watched the reunion of brother and sister, tears brimming at my eyes.

From above I heard the soft call of my falcon, circling above her reinited family.
