HELLO INTERNET PEOPLES OF THE INTERNET! My name is Not An Admin, and I have an Ask Admins thread here! I am another CBer on cricket, but I thought I'd go undercover today. *Cue spy music* anyway.... It's been soooo long since I've seen an ask Admins thread, so I've decided to make one! Everyone, let's just have fun and talk with some Admins!
So Admins, did you all have a great time over the holidays? What was your favorite part?
We did have a great time! My favorite part was going home to visit my family. ~Admin

Also, does your job get boring sometimes?
No, because I do such a variety of things for the magazines, and most of them involve Chatterbox, letters and contest entries from readers, or reading great stories and poetry. There's something different every day, and I never know in advance what it will be.

My favorites are all of the Hunger Games movies!

would you rather be given $1,000 right now, or be given $50 a month for the rest of your life?
My favorite movie... hmmm that's a tough one! I don't think I have a favorite movie. I like lots of different movies. I've seen one of the Hunger Games movies. I do like it, but I think I like the books better. :)
And is it only $50 for the rest of my live? I think the long term investment sounds nice.

I have a toy poodle named Teddy, and he is adorable! ;)
Finally, do you have any pets? :)
I don't really have a favorite breed. I like any adorable puppy.
My family has had cats, but the last one died a few year ago at almost 22 years of age.

Yep! One admin does the evenings, holidays, and weekends. But I cover the day time week days and when she takes off. ~Admin

Sometimes a first Reply to a thread sends it, for some unknown reason beyond our control, to a back page. Then a second comment will send it back to the front. So I suggest you look on a back page.

I just posted it a few minutes ago, after you wrote this comment. Sometimes you have to wait. We Admins can't post comments 24/7. We have other things to do, too.

Hey Admins? Has this job ever presented a challenge to you? If so, what did you learn from it? If you can't think of any challenge from cricket, what is a big lesson you have learned in general?
Being an Admin has taught me to to try my best to always be fair and considerate of all opinions. Working on the internet has taught me to be very careful in what I say and to proofread before hitting Submit. The greatest challenge being an Admin and editor would be to keep my tasks and responsibilities organized and to prioritize them, trying to meet all deadlines.
