Ooh, this is one of my favorite rps ever!!!!!! It's just so....... exciting!!!!!

Ter grins at me, and just for a moment I forget the life threatening situation and just stare at her. We make eye contact for a moment, and I grin cockily before breaking away and jumping into action. 

I shoot arrow after arrow into the crowd of demons, but no matter how many I take down, another one just pops up to take its place. The demons have us surrounded, and at this point I'm not seeing many options for escape. Ter and I stand back to back, taking down demons with our arrows. The smell of demon smoke, a combination of brimstone and fear, drifts over everything, obscuring ourview. Sweat pours down my face, and I can feel that both me and Ter are slowing down, wearing out.

We're running out of options. There's only one choice left.

In between shooting arrows, I grunt "Ter, do you trust me?" She cracks a grin and says "I met you, like, and hour ago, and you've been creepily following me so........ yes. Absolutely." I laugh. "Listen, you're going to need to send out a wave of fire. It's the only way that we can get out of this."

I feel her stiffen beside me. "But you'll get burned. If I use my fire, it'll be in a big wave. I'm the only one who will escape unharmed. That's the only reason I haven't done it yet." I restrain the sigh that is trying to escape me. "I know, but it's the only way. I don't have many arrows left. It's either I get burned, or we both die. After you release the wave, they'll leave us alone." She hesitates, than nods. "Ready?" I nod and say "I have some burn ointment in my bag. Use it well." She nods again, puts away her bow, and closes her eyes. 

Fortunately for my eyeballs, I have the sense to do the same.

I open my eyes, groan, and close them again. 

I'm in a room made completely of black stone, and it feels like every ounce of energy that I posses is being sucked out of me. 

Well, my energy or my powers. Same difference.

Maybe if I concentrate hard enough, this will just turn out to be a really bad, demented dream.

I'm just about to try to fall asleep again (falling asleep in a dream lets you wake up in real life, right?) when I hear a shuffling noise, and I look up to see the emperor plop down on a stool outside my cell. I sigh.

Great. Now I've got a pouting, handsome, emperor captor to deal with on top of everything else. I'm just loving this day. 

He turns to stare at me through the bars of my cell. "I just don't get it. I've been after her for forever. We used to be best friends." he stomps his foot on the floor. "Why won't she love me?!" I giggle and roll my eyes. "Maybe because you act like a spoiled brat. And, oh yeah, the whole good vs evil thing. You guys are practically polar opposites." He growls under his breath, then abruptly stands up and leaves.

I sigh, and attempt to think of something else. The last thing I need right now is to develop a crush on my evil captor. And yet, there's something else there. Something buried so deep that you'd need to look really hard to find it. Somewhere, in that cold lump where his heart should be, there is goodness. There is kindness. There is the ability to love; to really love, not just feel whatever he's convinced himself he should feel for the empresss.

It's in there. Somewhere. And I'm determined to find it.    

Ty: I believe I can make that happen. MWAAHAHAHAHAHA 

TY! BEHAVE YOURSELF.

AUUUUUGHHHHHHHH! I just spent a long time writing a post, but I ACCIDENTALLY RELOADED THE PAGE AND IT DELETED IT ALL. NOOOOOOOOO! *cries*

Ty~

I storm out of the underground portion of my castle, and work my way up. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that Kat has escaped earlier than planned. Well, it's not like it matters, she's mortal now, and mortals can be easily controlled. 

Most of my guards have moved to the Elvish Dimension, the capital of Kat's empire. If I am going to take it over, I have to overthrow the capital, of course. That doesn't leave many demons left to guard the castle, only a handful on each floor. That's slightly upsetting, since this castle may be attacked by elvish troops. I guess if that happens, I'll have to handle them.

Katsumi~  

Running through the hallways with Tani, I slam into a person, which is not good when you're a tiny elf. I shapeshift into my human form so I can look this person in the eye, even though he is still quite taller than me. My skin gains a bit of tan and my tail vanishes. I gain a few feet in height and so does my sword. "Who are you?"

The boy remains silent. Tani is out exploring, trying to find if there are any portals to make our teleportation unnoticeable, so she could be on the other side of the castle!

I examine the boy. He seems to be a year older than me, and he's wearing a cloak that covers his face in shadows. All I can see are some strands of his white hair and two glowing emeralds that must be his eyes.

"Are you deaf? Answer me, who are you?" I ask in a sterner voice.

He opens his mouth, but is interrupted by a someone yelling. Make that two someone's. It appears Ty has found me, and Tani has found a portal. I run for it, shoving the boy out of the way, but not before screaming, "Don't come near me again, you glowy eyed creep!" 

"Kat! Come back!" Ty yells. "Don't go down there!" In a flash, he's teleported in front of me. "Kat, if you don't stop right now, I'll have to wound you." Slowly, he raises his sword, and I feel the radioactive waves make me lightheaded, and the shadows it's made of don't help.

"You wouldn't do such a thing. Even though you are cruel, I know you love me as your friend."

"Oh Kat, you really haven't noticed how I feel for you yet? I thought it was obvious.... It's doesn't matter though, one more step and you might lose a limb."

I dash past him, right as the hooded boy and Tani both attack him. I take my sword and join them, making sure to hit him somewhere were it wouldn't kill him, even though he would just respawn. We fight, and fight, on and on, until we manage to all teleport away to the portal. Notice how I said all.

Whimsy~

It takes me half an hour to defeat the demon-girl. It was the most- second most- awful thing I've done. The demon was the girl, with claws and wings. The girl was still alive somewhere inside the demon and she was terrifyed..... I saved her little doll as a memory of her. But I must continue on... must keep going..... GET A GRIP, WHIMSY!!! You are fine. Sure. You did something awful. Everybody does stuff like that.... no, they don't..... You are FINE!!.... I'm not..why am I thinking like this?......demon...mind.....

And then I blacked out.

i create a giant stone wall behind the two invaders.

"now that I've answered your questions, you must answer mine. who are you?"

On the last three words, earthen spikes exploded from the ground on each syllable. i did not like invaders, they were annoying and messed everything up.

"your very lives may depend on your next sentece."

Katsumi~

I look at Tana calmly. Mouthing "I got this," I blast the spikes away. "My name is Katsumi Mai, Empress of the great empire of the Star, Nebula, and Elvish dimensions. This is my friend Tana. We are on the run from my arch nemesis, Ty Mortmela, the emperor of darkness. He has somehow turned me mortal, and he has grown slightly insane, so we had to run. And we found a portal and got ourselves here," I explain.

Tana keeps swinging her weapon and her eyes stay narrowed as I keep explaining.

"It's important that I get back to my empire soon, that's where my powers are strongest, and I also need to defend it from the swarm of demons attacking it. The poor citizens are being attacked! I can't let them get hurt!"

Daranthris makes a face I can't read and remains silent for a moment. I can't tell if he believes my explanation or not.
