DIMENSIONS RP!!!!
DIMENSIONS RP!!!!
There are four types of dimension crossers: Empresses/Emperors, Slayers, Guardians and Dominus. I have listed them below in rank of power. Though, the more powerful they are, the more likely their weaknesses are deadly.
The Empresses/Emperors are the most powerful dimension travelers. They are basically gods/goddesses. Their powers center around a certain element (you'll see what I mean in the charrie sheets.) As expected, he/she rules over an empire of a few dimensions. Every single Empress/Emperor has a gem of some kind on them. It is their "conductor" for their magic. If the gem were to be removed from them, they would immediately lose all their energy and faint. Along with the issue of the gem, all of these people have one unique fatal weakness. If it is discovered, his/her life would be in peril. I'm return for their weaknesses, their magic is powerful enough to attack multiple dimensions at a time. They also have a secret identity, and often are not in their true forms, but even when they are, they wear masks. Some are daring enough to not wear their mask as an act of rebellion. Sometimes, they retreat to the inside of their gem where they can talk to their Gem Vivi.
The next type of dimension crosser is a Slayer. Slayers are humans who have "absorbed" a demon. Their powers are not fixated around a certain element, so they can be more flexible in their attacks. A Slayer's weakness is it's weapon, where his/her demon lives. If the weapon were to break, the Slayer would too. Slayers earned their name for their hunting. They often hunt dragons, elves, werewolves and even Empresses/Emperors (if they are weak enough targets.) Most Slayers are evil, but it is not impossible for them to be good, just rare.
Guardians make up for their lack of power for their lack of weaknesses. They have NO known weaknesses, but they can get hurt fairly easily. Guardians have powers based on the dimension they guard. If they were guarding the Avatar Last Airbender dimension, they would have Aang's powers. If they were guarding the Star Wars dimension, they would have the force power of a Jedi. (I would prefer you not use fandom dimensions. I would like you to make your own dimension. If this is a challenge, I would be happy to share some ideas!)
Dominus are strange creatures. They look like angels, but are often very cold and closed off. They don't like to be around any other Dominus, or any other species, but if necessary they will team up with other people. Their main power is controlling pure magic. Though that may not sound impressive, it is truly remarkable. They have many unknown powers that have never been revealed to anyone. They often keep balance to many dimensions and he'll the Guardians often.

Ter-
I woke in the middle of the night to see the guardian leaning over me, staring.
"Hey!" I yelled. What the heck was he doing here?
"Oh, um...." He stammered, "I didn't think I would wake you."
(December 15, 2016 - 4:30 pm)
Oops, really sorry Ember. That hadn't shown up yet. I don't think anything has to be revised for such a small detail. XD
(December 15, 2016 - 7:01 pm)
Hi I'm scared sooooooooooooooooooooo is it possible to mess up?
Marina~
I'm trying to keep my pet Puranas under control, when I get a emergency call from the Council requesting back up. No that can't be right, I'm never needed anywhere else but grandma sprouts to water her poppys. She's not actually anybody's grandma, but she's so old that all her great Great great great great grandchildren are already 1,000 years old. I stop thinking about grandma sprout and her grandkids, and try to decide if I should use the seaweed green chalk or the aquamarine, I go with the aquamarine chalk and step into the Elfeish dimension.
Ok I finally have a CAPTCHA and she says
Win win horse? Ok I do not want to know what my little pink frosting thinks 24-7-365
(December 15, 2016 - 4:39 pm)
Aw, thanks Ember! I'm so glad you liked it! :)
Will~
I stay at least twenty feet away from the slayer at all times. Hey, I may be tracking her, but I still respect her personal space.
When she falls asleep, I sit down against a tree and meld with the shadow to sit watch.
An hour passes with no incident.
So does another.
And another.
I use this time to think deeply about the past day. And...... well....... if the slayer crosses my mind a few times, then so what? I'm sitting about thirty feet away from her, close enough to spot danger, but far enough to respect her privacy.
The dawn is beginning to creep up through the sky, but I don't allow myself to relax, no matter how much my stiff my muscles are begging to be moved. Rangers are trained to sit still for hours without moving, and it is drilled into our heads not to relax unless there is no plausible chance of danger. I haven't moved all night.
Suddenly, the pink sky grows dark, and a black fog begins to drift over to the clearing where the slayer lays. Demons are heading our way. This is bad. Really bad. They're surrounding us, so I can't wake her up without alerting them to my presence. I can't left this know I'm here. We need all the edge we can get.
During training, we did a unit on telepaths. We learned how to block them out, how to shield our minds. It's a little known skill, and I grew pretty good at it. I vaguely remember something about how telepaths will be alerted by loud or strong thoughts, and how they can reach out their minds and talk to you mentally. I close my eyes, and start mentally screaming.
Wake up, there are demons coming. Wake up. Demons. WAKE. UP.
She opens her eyes, but has the sense not to sit up. They'll be caught off guard if they think she's sleeping. Smart.
I close my eyes, muffling everything from my past in a cloudy mental barrier, and wait for the slayer to find me.
Moments later, her voice speaks into my mind.
"Before I trust you, who are you? What's your name? Why are you helping me?"
Because you're good. I can see it. And also, I'm letting you into my brain. This is not the time for chit chat, though. What can you do?
She sends me an image of fire, and I grin. Perfect. I think of me, drawing an oilcloth wrapped arrow across my bow, and her shooting fire at the arrow, igniting it. Demons hate fire. Her mind gives a brief nod of confirmation, and leaves. A millisecond later, it returns.
"What's your name?"
Erik. What's yours?
"Ter"
Her mind leaves, and I snap my eyes open and draw an arrow across my bow as the first demons arrive.
(December 15, 2016 - 4:48 pm)
Ter-
Demons. Whys is it always demons?
Erik draws his bow, and grabs an arrow from his quiver. He offers the tip to me, and I light it aflame with my hands. He looks surprised, as if he hadn't expected for me to actually be able to do it. I kind of understand. After all, very few half demons have demon-repelling abilities. He sends the first flickering arrow soaring into the darkness, and with its light I'm able to make out a few dozen more demons.
"Crap," I whisper
Erik smiles.
"They have that word in your dimension too?" He says

Could Whismy meet some other people along her way?

Katsumi~
I wake up with a pain piercing my head, and a strange throbbing in my chest. Sitting up, I start to look around. I'm in a castle, that looks familiar. Ah, it must be Ty's. That dirty scoundrel. I stand up and when I reach to open the door I realize my hands are cuffed together. Oh please, Ty. You think I can't break these? After shattering the cuffs, I blast the doors to the room open and take out my sword. For some reason, I feel vulnerable. Like I've been stripped of my armor. The throbbing in my chest increases in speed. Like a-
Like a heartbeat.
I haven't felt my heart beating in over one thousand years. It's peculiar. Wait. Oh no....
Ty must have turned me mortal! I search my chest for any scar that would have been left if he discovered my weakness and run me through, but I find none. Is their possibly another way he could have made me mortal?
**Time skip**
After searching the castle, I find that it is strangely empty. Quickly, I teleport to the room I know has a mirror, Ty's bedroom. Once again, it is empty. No demons or guards, just emptyness. I run to a mirror and call my old friend.
"You know how I said I would pay you if you helped? Now would be a seriously brilliant time for you to do so," I say with annoyance.
"Sorry Kat, I got held up. I'll be right over."
"Thank you, Katanari."
(December 15, 2016 - 8:40 pm)
OH SHMIZ!! Sorry guys, I forgot to post. And if I somehow missed my post, ignore that one.
Whimsy~
A demon-mist infested village stands in front of me. The streets linger with cries of dismay. Buildings are crumbled. The stench of terror and death lingers in the air. But...... all the demons seem to be dead. I can sense this. I can also sense that this place needs no more help. Walk on. *skip about 2 hours* I am approaching a big city in the elvish dimension. It is kind of scary, how big a city can get. A tavern! Perfect. So... hungry... The bartender gives me a look, kind of like, get out. Some places are losing respect for those who keep balance. This is the evil ruler, Ty's doing. I am starting to feel less like helping every day. More...... demonic. Like.... me nearly- no. I refuse. That will NEVER happen again. You already lost a brother and sister. No. Keep doing... what's right. Yeah. Use your powers. Control the pure magic of the air. And stay away. No go fight. Battle demons. But exposure-no. It won't-can't-happen. Stay strong, Whimsy.
Later, about five miles past the city gates, I am approaching a small cottage. A small scent of fear lingers around it, and there is evident need of help. A small girl is inside. She looks scared and too small to defend herself. About 4-5. I'll take her with me. She whimpers. It seems that a demon came near the house, got her parents, but somehow missed her. "Come here. I am going to help you. Come on." I say. She only grabs my turtleneck, and I see that she is also cold. I produce a coat made of winds and gentle flames. She should stay warm enough like this. We spend the night in the cottage. In the morning, we leave at five. The little girl suddenly starts to grow unusually.... heavy. Her gently grabbing fingers become claws. I should have known. She is no girl. A demon. Well disguised, and now ready to attack. My staff. My locket-staff. She is chocking me with my staff. Looks like this is going to be a long fight.
***
Okay. All you really needed to get about Whimsy was her past & some powers.
Past: As a child, a demon tryed to make her a slayer. (sorry if that isn't allowed.) She didn't end up possesed, but under it's efforts to break her, she ended up killing her younger brother and sister. Her own worst enemy has been herself ever since, and she still is struggling against demons to this day.
Powers: The combining air and fire I guess was my idea of pure magic, and she has the ability to mell things like fear or terror. Or even just simple facts. This is a result of her near possesion.

my thing didnt post and im NOT doiung it again. Sigh oh well.
SUMMERY OF POST:
I attacked someone who try to hurt kat and tie them up. then another stab nme i decide to leave that one dead. i tied the corps4e to the tree i was hidoing in, healed myself and flew off looking for trouble.
(December 16, 2016 - 1:30 pm)
I flick my hand mirror shut. Kat was in trouble... again. Singing, I grab my bag and my ropedart and run out the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
later
slowly, I circle the perimeter of the castle. according to Kat, she was in the middle tower, second window from the top. Pulling out a grappling hook, I swing it up through the air. It lands with a satisfying thunk and Katy's head pokes out.
"About time" she says
i grimace, "Sorry about that, it isn't exactly easy to cross 16 dimensions in a timely manner."
She smiles and clambers down the rope. We then run off into the surrounding forest where I had set up an inter dimensional escape portal...
also, Katanari is a really long name so her nickname is Tana.
(December 16, 2016 - 2:29 pm)
i look a the pair go throug the portal, how amusing. I create my own portal and come out right in front of tana, and turn the ground to quicksand, leaving only their heads poking out. Then, I notice what dimension we're in.
"Who are you and what are you doing in MY dimension?"
(December 16, 2016 - 2:53 pm)
Hmmmm...... maybe Whimsy could somehow end up working for Ty, and ends up fighting with Katanari?
