Because I've been watching the cringe-worthy XY and want to make one.
In this RP, all of the regions have been blended together into one, meaning all pokemon, gym leaders, cities, and anything else exist. Our characters are all trainers, but they don't have to be beginning their journey.
As for battles, I would prefer that we kept them at a minimum, and NOT against other RPers. It's too difficult to not god-mod and give yourself the glory, and even if we did do it perfectly fairly, that would mean a lot of one-sentence posts clogging up the thread. If someone has an alternative I'd be happy to hear it.
Please make sure your charrie isn't OP! Five pokemon maximum, and only two can be at their final evolution. If there are other circumstances (ie your charrie is a gym leader), just check with me and make sure it's okay.

If you would like to use the Pokemon avatar creator for your appearance, that's fine.
For the "Pokemon Owned" charrie sheet, feel free to write down any special things about the Pokemon, like a nickname.
And status-- as I've had questions about this before-- basically means the level your character is currently at. Have they just begun their journey, or is this their third year as a trainer?

Appearance: Once this gets posted I'll share a pic.
Personality: Venice does her best to be patient and understanding, and genuinly cares about people. She's the kind of person who is almost annoyingly optomistic, even though she has a mean temper. She's also tough and determined, a go-get-'em sort of gal.
Pokemon owned: She's a fire-type trainer, and owns a Combusken, Growlithe, Ponyta, and Ninetails. Currently, she's searching for an Eevee to evolve into Flareon.
Status: Has been travelling for a year.
Backstory: Her uncle was a Pokemon breeder, so she grew up with Pokemon of all types. She always felt herself drawn towards fire-types and wants to be a gym leader some day.

I lay on my back on the grassy hilltop, staring at the starry sky. Zia and Swanna are next to me while Estrella soars overhead. There's a forest next to the hill, but I'm not going to go there yet. I've set up camp a couple feet away, but right now I'm enjoying the peace and tranquility of the night. The half-moon shines bright in the sky, like my namesake—Moonstone. I reach out a finger, but Estrella perches on it.

Seeing everyone around me, I struggle to my feet. "Argh..." Suddenly realizing that this could be a dangerous situation, I panic. "HUZZAH! GO, VIKAVOLT!" The Stag Beetle Pokemon hops out of its Poke Ball, speeding around me. "Alright. So who are you all, and what are you even doing here?" They all speak up with different answers, and one person catches my eye. "WHOA, who, whoa. Is that a Celebi? How did you get that to join you?"

then we stop dead in our tracks we (me and my pokemon) see 3 figures and i call back everyone
"Espurr, Parchisu, Kiarla Zorack, Umbrion return." they all are beamed back into their clear pokebals then the pokeballs turn normal and i walk to the 3 people...

Seeing the two next to me about to battle, I feel I should intervene. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's going on? Cool your jets." Vikavolt buzzes its agreement next to me. One of the combatants looks over at me. "This... amateur... fought at the same gyms I did." The boy with white hair glances over at me, a glint in his eye. I reply. "Well, chill out and hold up for a second. We all need to figure out what we're respectively doing here."

I squirm uncomfortably in the circle of trainers, two of them poised to battle- a girl with a Celebi (of all things!) and a boy with silver hair. Oh, oh, how do I get out of this? I wonder hopelessly. The tension in the air is so thick you can practically feel it. There's a contest tomorrow I have to prepare for, so I don't have much time to be with these people.
"Well, chill out and hold up for a second. We all need to figure out what we're respectively doing here," a boy with a long cloak and a sun eye-patch says.
"I don't even know any of your names!... except for yours," the boy who I think is named Tyberious complains, glaring at the Celebi trainer, who returns his stare.
No one speaks for a second, so I decide to pipe up. "My name is--Miro. I'm a Contest trainer, who really needs to be getting back..." I say, subtly (or maybe not so) trying to indicate that I want to go.
"Is this your Meowth, then?" the fire-trainter asks, picking up Riri, who hisses and curls her tail.
"Oh--yes," I say hastily, recognizing the glint in Riri's eye. A Meowth with a Sassy nature is no easy business, but she excels by far in the Cleverness category. I scoop Riri into my arms, calming her down, then glance at the other trainers. "Well... why are all of you here?" I ask as my Pokémon come up besides me.

This was unexpected, honestly.
Of course, I can make good use of this time! I barely know any Pokemon trainers. Maybe we could be friends, or battle. That would be fun; my Pokemon can battle against each other, but they know each other so well it gets tiresome. It would be a chance for something new!
Beauty Contest Boy, the one with the Meowth, says, "Why are all of you here?"
"I'm camping out," I say without hesitation. "I'm going to challenge the gym leader at the next town. What are you doing here?"
Oh. Oops. That might have been a bit rude; I'm not usually that pushy. I hope he doesn't mind, but before I can ask, the next person begins to speak.
