Personality: Sweet, kind, loyal, lovable. Not extraordinarily talkative. Not a doormat. 

Pokemon owned: An Altaria named Zia, a Starly named Estrella (es-tray-ya), and a Swanna that has no name. She calls it Swanna. 

Status: Has been exploring the skies for new flying type Pokemon for about half a year

Backstory: Ever since she caught her first Pokemon (Zia at age eight), Moonstone has had a fascination with flying-type Pokemon. She is currently travelling all over the "region," looking for new flying-type Pokemon and collecting data on their behaviour. She hopes to discover an uncharted type of Pokemon someday.

Yay, a Pokemon RP that probably won't die!

Name: Sol ??? (A mysterious traveler, Sol almost never reveals his real name.)

Age: 15

Appearance: A black cloak, jeans, and a simple yellow T-shirt. Easily the strangest thing about Sol, however, is that an orange-lensed eyepiece emblazoned with a stylized sun covers his left eye. It's rumored that there's nothing underneath it... but no one truly knows.

Personality: Sol is a person who takes almost nothing seriously. Despite his menacing appearance, Sol is a genuinely friendly person. A few times, though, people have done horrible things and somehow managed to tick him off severely. An angry Sol is not fun for anyone involved.

Pokemon owned: Mimikyu- Sol's trusted partner and friend, his Mimikyu was adopted from a warehouse where it wouldn't stop trying to get people to take it home. Porygon-Z: A glitchy mess of code, this Pokemon is an unpredictable fighter. But one thing shines through, and that's that it never gives up on people. Vikavolt: The electric powerhouse of Sol's team, it attacks with unprecedented speed. Finally: Roggenrola- This small Rock-type isn't much use yet. But Sol has a feeling it can do great things. 

Status: Unknown. Documented Sol sightings have been occurring for two years, so it is likely that he's been a trainer for just that long. 

Backstory: Sol is a mysterious traveler from the Alola region, always on the move, never in one place for too long. No one knows his motives, but it's clear he's having a good time. However, some fear him, and as such he is called the Ghost of Alola. Once, there was an incident involving several Team Rocket grunts who were attempting to steal his Roggenrola. Those involved reported an enraged figure in a cloak... with a single glinting orange eye.

Name: Veri Tonkin

Gender: Female and proud of it!

Age: 13

Appearance: See picture below

Personality: Wary of new people, but once you get to know her, she is nice and silly and trustworthy. Quite a tomboy/feminist, she hates pink and how people think it's a girl color, and dislikes Pokemon Showcases. Very impulsive, and good at making decisions, she is a naturual leader, but would rather be on her own. She is smart, but not computer genius straight A's smart, but in a way, she always knows what to do.

Pokemon owned: A Glaceon, a Victini, a Pikachu, and a Fennikin.

Status: This is her first year traveling

Backstory: She visited a gym and saw her first battle when she was five, and wanted to be a trainer ever since. She aspires to be a gym leader.

Venice~

"Looks like the sun's setting," I mutter to myself, looking at the sky, a dark splotch with streaks of orange. "I guess we'll be camping tonight."

I enjoy camping. It means I get to be alone for a night in the woods. It's even better if a wild Pokemon turns up, because then I can befriend or battle it. Getting connections with Pokemon is always good, even if you don't capture them-- some have ties of honor and will pay you back if you help them.

I let out my Pokemon first, and then take out my tent from the backpack I wear. "We're camping out," I inform them, and they do a Pokemon dance of excitement. "Want to do some practice battles after I get the tent up?"

"Busken!"

"Tail, tail!"

"Ta!"

"Growlithe!"

I grin and bang in one of the stakes. Combusten assists me with the next two, and I do the last, pull up the tent, and sit cross-legged on the grass. "Who wants to go first?"

"Tail!"

Of course Ninetails wants to go first. She may not be my first Pokemon, but she's the most evolved.

"Busken!"

And Combusken, who is my second-most evolved Pokemon and my oldest. 

"All right," I say. "The battle between Combusken and Ninetails will now begin!"

The two are very well matched, and know the other's tricks because we practice together so often. We aren't even close to the battle when there is a sudden interruption . . .
