almost all of the RPs i have joined died out and the only one left that is still continuously active is spirit animal. all of the other threads that are up are too far into the storys for me to join. so i have decided to take matters into my own hands and start an RP myself, the MythBorn RP!
once upon a time, here on earth, five kids were born who were half human, half mythical creature. no one is sure how this happened but it did. these kids did not know about their powers and untill now, they have lived like regular humans, the only thing difforent about them was the fact that their eyes glowed with the color of power that they had. but not for long! an evil is afoot that is much older than them and this evil is also a MythBorn.
here are the rules
- only 5 MythBorn and 1 evil allowed but that does not mean that those are the only spots available! you can make a charrie that is the best friend of a MythBorn or maybe an evil henchman, its up to you! you could be a teacher at the school where the Mythborn are enrolled, or maybe a scholar who is helping the MythBorn. the options are limitless!
- no MythBorn may have the same mythical creature, if someone is already a griffin, you cant be one too
- The MythBorn can be relatively OP but nothing over the top. you may be able to teleport or shoot energy beams but nothing like limitless mind controll or the ability to create anything.
- Each MythBorn may have 1-3 powers, not including the ability to shapeshift into their Mythical creature
- you may have two charries if you want but only one can be MythBorn
-Please try to post, if you make a charrie but never post again after that you wont be included

Description: short for her age with long brown hair and freckles. hair is usually in a pony tail and she is relatively pretty.
Personality: loud and outspoken but a nice person

eye color: her eyes are a fiery red/yellow/orange color
Mythical creature: dragon (duh)
Powers: Can breath fire but only in dragon form, can fly in human form as well as dragon form but only by revealing her dragon wings, can grow dragon claws in hyman form.

i was about to answer the phoenix when a great splash erupted from the water. a kelpie had been lurking there and it had a mermaid in its jaws. I roar and lunge for the kelpie, knocking it over to the far side of the lake. everyone freezes, the mermaid is flopped half in, half out of the water, the phoenix stares at us and i crouch, glaring over the kelpie. the pheonix is the first to speak, "Dragon, get off of the kelpie, lets talk about this before anyone gets hurt."

Oh, no! I forgot to post on here! @DRAGON, I'm really bad at story conversations and keeping RPs flowing, so can you possibly write at least part of the conversation? Thank you sooooooooooo much! Umm, yeah. TOP!

i slowly back off from the kelpie. i can smell the tension in the air. the kelpie stands and shifts to a girl about my age. i had seen her at school but i didnt know her name. "All right, i think we need introductions" said the Pheonix. "i am Laili, who are you guys?" we all introduced ourselves. the mermaid shifted back to a human but everyone else stayd in a mythical form.
guys, can someone please post? i feel like everyone who joined this thread forgot about it :(

Ah someone finally posted! You know I just hate it when people make charrie sheets and promise that they are gonna post but then make like one of two and stop. Or none at all. And then everyone else is like, hey where did everyone go? And then they stop writing because no one else is and....
I think what she is trying to say is PEOPLE GO POST ON THE 32 DAYS RP THREAD.

~Whatever I decided to name my charrie......
I swam up into the brighter waters and SNAP! Clamped my jaws down, hard, on her mid section. Then I dived into the water and swam. Down...Down....Down......
Someone shrieked from above and I heard a running of footsteps as whoever that girl was standing up there ran away.
The mermaids struggled in my jaws and I hissed with outermost hatered. Unable to speak inter water bubbles came from her mouth and high pained sounds. I scrapped the bottom on the lake and started running, my webbed feet making it more constructive then you would imagine it.
*interruption*
Wow that's a funny image you put into my brain. A horse running on the ocean floor getting absolutely no where and looking quite pleased with itself.
NAAX!!!!! I was RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE if writing!

The mermaid hit against my teeth and jaws around it and I just clamped down harder. Stupid mermaids! Still thinking they're the boss of everything.
I emerged up into the air for a breath, it was hard breathing from my gills with a mermaids covering them. And then to my surprise a dragon rammed into me and knocked the mermaids from my jaws. I gasped in shock and pain, the mermaids flew to plop of the beach with a thump. I sank into the water again, eyeing the dragon who was about the same size as me. Then I neighed, an awful sound, like a horse neigh combined with a human scream and a tiger's roar.
"Hold on, let's talk about this!!!!" The Phoenix who I hadn't realized was their shrieked.
I realed in the water, thrusting my legs and head above and raising my awful looking face. "Make me!" Then I charged, zipping through the water, and rammed head first into the dragon's soft belly.
Noon says burh. I know Noon, it's -5 outside and its only OCTOBER! *a single tear runs down my cheek, then freezes*

The kelpie rips into my stomach, pushing me back a few paces. I growl angrily and the growl turns to a roar and then a stream of white hot fire jets from my mouth straight into the kelpies face. She hissed angrily and leaps back. I jet up into the air and hover over the pond. Readying my fire, I take aim and send another blast at the kelpie. She dodges and wings unfold from her back. She too takes to the air also but I knew somehow that when I was in the air, I was the fastest thing around.

I stagger into the air. Its been awhile since I've last flew, I'll admit, and I knew that a dragon as herself is the king of the sky. Well maybe the pheonix is, but shes just watching.
My plan is to lure the dragon into the water where ill drown her.
I just have to outwit her in the air first.
I bare my threateningly ugly teeth, taking a few more flaps to hover in place. I roar. She responds with a softer roar. Then i reil in the air and charge, wings flapping.
I felt so slow and heavy, to come from almost zero gravity to extra gravity and trying to keep flight......
She knocked ne from the air easyly. She swooped to catch me in her talons, avoid letting me fall in the water, but with my still wet slippery scales, I twisted in her grasp and dived down down down into the water. The splash was small because my body was so nimbal.
I reached the bottom of the water and turned, demented hooves and sharp talons scraping on the sea floor, then turned and powered myself up wards to the open air with nimbal speed.
I burst from the water, hooves and wings flailing, teeth knashing, main waving. I rocketed up to thw dragons hight and in that split second I grabbed onto her wing, and with the gravitational force, pulled her from the air and with a mighty splash down into the water.
Her wings were visable with bubbles from the top of the lake. A few seconds passed and all was still.

the kelpie dragged me down, far under the water. i couldent breathe, my fire wouldent work. i sank slowly, becomeing still as a rock. then, when the kelpie least expected it, i jetted out of the water and into the air. "follow me!" i roared to the pheonix. grabbing the mermaid we flew away from the pond. i looked back just in time to see the kelpie sliding out of the water.
