~Principal Summers

I call Madi. She answers. "Any luck?" "A bit, Miss. But--" She drops her 'pretty, popular queen bee' voice. "I don't want to kidnap them all! Can't we form the fabled 'MythTeam' of Shapeshifters WITHOUT me capturing everybody!?"

"You have good intentions! You'll explain to them when they wake up that this is not to harm them, you just need their help!" I yell, frustration pouring into my voice, my normal passion that I love, the calm principal gone. 

Her voice goes back to being all pretty. "Of course, Miss." She says quietly. "One last thing." I say softly, with lethal want for my daughter in my voice. "Yes?" "You have to bring SJ." "On it. I'll get her next. Who should I get last?"

I think of a smart student, but one that will be taken out if she does not notice, but there is no hope otherwise. "Get Cameron last. Don't let him see you." "On it, miss." She says sweetly. I can imagine her soft smile. "Remember, we need you shapeshifters to form a team--the FableTeam. For the Imperia!" I say with triumph in my voice.

"For the Imperia!" She echoes, and then hangs up.

~Dessa Summers

I'm in my small, white room. This time they removed the bench. I must not go insane here. I have to keep my sanity. Keep my sanity and be b-b-brave.

My mother is probably pulling every string to get to me. She needs to protect the other students, not just her favorite daughter! Or maybe she's been sane. After all, she's not a shapeshifter. i've never seen her shift. I don't think she can shift. Dad must've been the shapeshifter. But Dad's dead, killed in some freak accident with lightning...

Lightning.

It sparks throughout the room. The door flies open. I whirl. It's that boy. "Clever girl, talking to my sister in your dreams!" He yells. "I--I" I stammer. "NO MORE BENCH. THE HUMIDITY IN YOUR ROOM WILL BE FULL BLAST! LET'S SEE YOU SLEEP NOW!" He yells, and then leaves.

It is strange how time passes. It is maybe an hour. Maybe a few minutes. Maybe more than an hour. When, at long last, I curl up into a ball on the floor, attacked by the humitity's weapons. I think away the time. And then, at long last, I cannot resist anymore, and my mind screams "SLEEP!" from being tired, and I can't ignore the fact that I've been fighting sleep, for no reason, and I, at long last, agree.

~The Dreamscape~

I step into our school's--no, my dream's--hallway of lockers, and try to remember certain numbers. Madi is not asleep. Her locker is empty. Then, I try another locker. It swings open.

And I see a figure drenched in blackness. They are lying down and their eyes are closed. "Tash." I whisper. "Who's there.." His voice mumbles, disconnected from his body. "Me, Iridessa. The girl at the back of the class." "Aren't you..missing?" "Yes. I can...I am..I can..I can access dreams as easy as opening a locker." I say quietly. 

I try to invent a dreamscape for Tash, or control it as I can sometimes do. But nothing is working. "What do you remember last?" I ask, frustrated. "Madi...dart...poked.." He whispered, his voice disconnected from his body. Don't they always use sleeping darts in books? They did in this book called Kyngdom that I love. "I think you're unconcious, which is why I can't control this dreamscape, and which is why this is so strange." I say quietly. "I must go now. There's other people who I need to see." I say, softness in my voice, even in this dark area.

I pull at the total blackness around me, and see into a hallway from inside of a locker. And then, I step back into the hallway, my footsteps echoing softly. I try another locker...and then groan softly. "Oh...no."

It's another unconcious person in a world of black. I step into their unconcious dreamscape. "Who are you?" I whisper. "S.....J.." They murmur. "Did Madi get you with a dart?!" I asked. (I'm leaving the details of this up to SJ, and I hope I'm not being too controling. Just trying to get this story to pick up the pace!) "Ye--"

Suddenly, electricity volts through my body, and I wake up.

"I told you not to dream. And now, it's time for a little punishment. I'm not killing you..you still might be useful in getting the shapeshifters to do what I want."  

OMG icy way to get the plot rolling.

Lunch went by sitting with Jay and his football friends. The last two periods were boring as usual. Once I saw Tash in the hallways between classes and he completely ignored me. I felt a pang of guilt for him. I felt this way the rest of the day. 

The bell rang. I looked up from the English project as the teach told us it was due tomorrow. I groaned, packed up, and was the last one out. Like usual. 

But unlike usual Jay was waiting for me. "Hey." He said. "Are we going to the....." He glanced around. "Thing.....after school?" 

"The note?" I asked. 

"Ya, that." I fidiged with my hands. He knew what had happened, yet he still wants me to go?!

"I think it will be fine. I mean, Madi can explain why she did that to you, and the whole...." He whispered this next part so quietly that only I could barley hear it. "Shape shifters power?" 

I sighed. "Will you protect me if things go wrong?"

He smiled. "You know I would, SJ."

"Alright." I whispered. "But if things go wrong...."

"They won't." He said with too much confidence. "I can feal it." 

I saw Tash hurry by us. Jay did to but he didn't bring it up.

We were the first ones to the place behind the cafitira. I would've assumed that Tash came here first, he was the one who wrote the note, after all, and wouldn't walk away from it because of a misshapen at school. "Looks as if no one's here yet." Jay staded the obvious.

"Ya, wonder where....." Suddenly something sharp pierced my neck. I pulled it out quickly, but not quick enough.

I felt myself start transforming unwillingly, my hands became soft paws, my ears lengthened, and fur grew along my body. Jay stopped short, shocked. My eyes rolled back as I collapsed, and unwillingly, fell into a deep sleep.

~Jay

I looked at SJ, wideeyed, as she collapsed in front of me. I could see her chest rising and falling, so she wasn't dead, but what had done that? 

And I spotted a sharp dart near her head, which she had pulled from her neck only moments before. I stepped back, and then something small hit my hand. 

I pulled it out quickly, saw it was the same thing that knocked out SJ, and quickly grabbed her in my jaws. It didn't register that I had transformed and was now a panther running through the halls of the high school with a Jaguir in his jaws, until someone screamed. 

By then, though, my eyes were glassy and I was tripping over my paws.

And then I tripped.

I fell foward with a soft thunk onto SJ and we slid across the smooth tile of the walkway to a classroom. The world starred fading and I tried staggering to my paws, tried moving SJ, but finally my body gave in and my eyes rolled back into my head, and I was soon in a deep sleep. 

(If it's okay I'm gonna write as Madi, Icy) ~Madi

"Miss!" I said in a panicked voice as my aunt picked up the phone. "Miss! I shot SJ, but Jay was with her, and they cane back and I shot SJ but I didn't shoot Jay in time and..." 

"Madi! Sweetly slow down!" Principle Summers said. 

I sighed, then exclaimed quietly, "They got away. Jay took SJ in his panther form and ran out into the school."

"Oh no."  Principle Summers gasped. 

"Miss your not helping!"

"Have they made an announcement yet?"

Just then, over the speakers, "ALL STUDENTS MUST EVACUATE THE BUILDING. DO NOT PANICK, EVERYONE MUST EVACUATE THE BUILDING"

"Yes." I choked on the words, on my failed assignment. 

"Dear I will contact the police, tell them it was just some students dressed up as those animals. Meanwhile, go find them and hide them."

"Yes Miss." 

Ah, humans.

I relax in my chair. I would not leave the building for the world.

I wait. 

~Shadow

I knew the only ones who knew I was a shifter was Tash, but it was clear there were other shifters in the school. I quickly changed back human, and saw a panther race by with a jaguar in it's mouth. Shadow followed. No panther would naturally invade the halls holding a jaguar, who wasn't even is a native species. I tried to get close, but the panther hisses at me when I get too close. "I just want to help. I'm a shifter too, you know." I say, but the panther just darted away. Sheesh. 

~Dessa

"Let me go!" I scream. The mystery boy has his hand on me, and electricity is pumping through my veins and shocking me to the core. "You know what you have to do to let you go," he says quietly. I do? I do!

I transform into a Swan, and slip from his grasp, then fly at him, trumpeting and pecking. He yells something in an ancient language--something about "Le toi quez pantheraza, Imperia!" And I fly from his grasp. And suddenly...

His eyes turn a misty green color. Literal green mist pours from his mouth, and a feminine voice fills the room. "Only when spoken by enemy tongue, shall the sorcery of the Imperia be sprung. Make haste to the hills, make haste, it is the Imperia's will..." And suddenly electricity cracks through the room, and the boy grabs me, and I shift back into a human in a flash of light. "You know too much." He spits, and then drags me back to my room. (The Imperia can be anything. I have nothing planned, just random bursts of creativity.)

"You'll never escape," he says softly. "Only if we choose to let you out, will you ever leave." "Liar." I spit. He leaves.

~Principal Summers 

"Madi! Madi! Did you get the rest? Speak, girl!" I yell into my phone. "Ma'am..I only got three..." she says quietly. "YOU NEED AT LEAST FOUR!" I bellow into the phone. "But Shapeshifters are legendary protectors!? Won't we do!?" she asks angrily. "At least attempt to get Cameron," I say, my voice lethal as poison. "And the rest of the legendary shapeshifters will follow, wanting to get their friends back," I add. Madi sighs into the phone. "How about this. You call Cameron to your office. Then, while he's distracted, I dart him in the back," Madi suggests. "Perfect! I'll tell him I need him for a special project!" I crow. "I don't like this!" Madi suddenly snaps. "Why do I have to capture shapeshifters in order to make the MythTeam!?" (The MythTeam, again, can be anything. I have no plan, except that it involves shapeshifters teaming up and using their Power.) 

"SO THAT YOU CAN SAVE MY DAUGHTER!" I sob-bellow into the mike. "But her power is dream! She's a puny swan! The Power of Dream isn't even used in the MythTeam! She's not even part of the MythTeam like the rest! She has the WEAKEST Power--" "--NEVER SAY THAT ABOUT MY IRIDESSA!" I hang up, without even hailing the Imperia.

Although everything Madi said was true. 

So wait, Tash is captured, what about SJ and Jay?

Yes I think that Madi found us and got us.

Sosososo sorry I didn't post before. I can't post from Monday until Thursday.

Elysia~

I haven't spoken to any of them all week. I had kept my head down and gone through all my classes trying to draw as little attention as possible to myself. The last time I remember speaking to SJ was when we had a huge fight, the same day that we'd met, the same day that she'd found out she was a shapeshifter. I touched my cheek and felt the four long clawmarks that were still there. It had been jaguar vs. fox. The last time I had spoken to Madi was during that same night. It... hadn't gone so well. Iridessa I was trying to stop being leaped on by a Jaguar, and Piper I had only caught glimpses of since I revealed myself to her at school.

So, definitely not much interaction. And there were also shapeshifters that I'd heard about that had been there, but I hadn't ever talked to at all. I didn't know that would change so quickly.

All of the sudden the loudspeaker jumps to life.  "ALL STUDENTS MUST EVACUATE THE BUILDING. DO NOT PANICK, EVERYONE MUST EVACUATE THE BUILDING"

My head jerks up from the schoolwork I was doing. Despite the loudspeakers desire that no one was to panic, it seems that that's exactly what they were all doing. A sudden chill falls over me. I know what this is about. Dread fills my mind as I involuntarily shift into a fox. I race down the empty hallways as fast as I can, my senses magnified. I round the corner and find myself skidding to a stop to avoid running into Madi. She grins. "Well, well, well. It looks like we've forgotten one."

Everything went black.

I exit the school with the rest of my class.

suddenly, I feel something puncture my neck. My hand shoots up an finds a dart!

as I start to pass out only one thing enters my mind.

"not again!" 

~The Principal

Cameron is presented before my desk. I can see Madi creep in through the open door, but focus my attention on Cameron. "Hello, student! Cameron, was it? I forget your last name. But, you're the only Cameron here, soo.." I trail off. Madi takes aim with a dart.

I gave too much attention to Madi. Cameron whirls. What do I do now? Hopefully Madi can shoot him. He's just a nerd, he doesn't have any physical training (I hope) and she's a martial arts-fighting hot girl with a sleeping dart gun. This will be easy, right?

~Iridessa 

I walk through the alley of dreams once again, knowing that my time here is breif and if I don't wake up quickly I will be punished. Soon, I discover many more unconcious bodies. I warn them that I am prisoner in a forest, and whatever has them unconcious is dangerous. But Madi is one of the good guys, right? I also tell them, in their state of unconciousness, to trust Madi.

Then, I wake. 

Windswift, is Borealis captured by Madi?

I know it's long, but jumping ahead a bit. You guys could do the in between stuff for a while. Also, to make sense of things, I beleive any clothing will become part of the transformed animal, like my leather jacket will become the skin and stuff, but you can't use or acess it until you untransform. Because if you leave it behind, that would be disturbing.......

~Shadow

I decided that since those two shifters didn't want my help, I headed back to check on Madi. The bushes looked larger, and Loki was sticking out his tail in a angle to let me know he's fine and so Madi wouldn't see it, then slithered into the bushes where Madi was hiding the kadnapped. I noticed through the cracks that next to the now Lynx sleeping Tash was also the Jaguar and Panther from earlier. There were also a few more including a fox, a red bird of some kind which Shadow didn't recognise, and a few other shapes I couldn't see oh so well.

"Um, hi??" I said awkwardly to Madi, who was innocently observing her nails. "Oh." she said, narrowing her eyes down at me. PLEASE DON'T SEE MY FORM LIKE TASH. PLEASE DON'T SEE MY FORM LIKE TASH. My mind blared. Madi seemed to have decided that I was harmless, and continued observing her nails like nothing happened. I slid beside the wall, casual, thinking about the international spy museum and how cool it would be if he had the gear like they had there. My black leather jacket seemed to have tightened it's grip, and I slid through the wall, landing on my back. I was at an alley now, and when I turned the corner, right there was the International Spy museum in Washington D.C. I was like So this is what my inner black mamba reveals to me finally. I might make good use of it. I entered the building, and took a look around the shop. Taking out the money he had in his wallet, he bought a hollow book to hide things and some awesome dark sunglasses that record video. I put them on. Man, they were cool. When I exited, I went back into the alley, then thought of the same hallway hejust left, then walked into the wall. It was solid. I began to panic a bit. How was I supposed to get back? Then I let in the snake Sssshhhhaaadddddoooowwwssss. It hissed. It came to me. I must only be able to "teleport" in shadows, and hopefully about anywhere on a dark night. Shadow stepped into the shadow, and was transported right back to the location. Madi was in the middle of a talk on her phone, then clicked off. I transformed and hid within a mouse crack in the wall. The mice panicked, but I didn't harm them. Madi started getting sacks and really quickly stuffed everyone in them, then headed to the principal's office. Following Madi, staying to the shadows, Madi stopped at the door in front of the principal's room, and knocked. The principal peeked through a crack, and I darted out of sight. Then the principal let her in. Careful to not let anything in. Shadow decided to shadow into the room, and shadowed into a small corner beside the recycling bin.
