Moonlight:
A slender girl played along the edge of a swamp, dancing through the mists. Her black hair blended into the night, and her garment swirled around her ankles as the mist itself wound around her arms. Her eyes were closed, yet her footsteps sure.
A child stood at the edge of the bog and tugged on his father's tattered raincoat. "Da," he whispered. His father turned from the nets, ready to reprimand the boy, but stopped as he saw the girl.
"Don't go near 'er," he whispered, afraid, "she's made of moonlight and-"
The slender girl smiled and beckoned, a tinkling laugh playing at her lips. But the child noticed something he hadn't before: her dress appeared to have faces in it, gaping, swirling faces.
"C'mon, we're leaving," barked his father, "we don't deal with the soulcatchers. Come on. Now. Run!"
The boy and his father took off at a sprint. The moonlight girl scowled and vanished into the mist.

Windswift~
If you ever happen to walk beneath the crags of Nereway Point, you might see a figure walking along them.
A young girl, tanned and dusted with desert sand, was walking daintily along the craggy face. Her orange-red hair whipped behind her like a kite, and her warm chocolate eyes flickered beneath her hooded eyes. She laughed, but her laugh mixed with the wind and the echoes and danced into silence.
If you had been out there, you might have seen the girl lose her footing and fall; but she did not scream as an ordinary person would, did not flail.
Instead, in a burst of golden light, her hair changed to feathers and her sunset lips turned to a beak.
And a hawk soared away into the desert sky.
