Reverso Poetry Contest!
~❤️~
I know, you guys are probably getting tired of all the contests I'm making. But thanks to Cho (Everyone say thanks to Cho), I've gotten into reverso poetry, and I LOVE IT!!!!
A reverso poem is a poem that has one meaning when read one way, but still makes sense when read the other way. It usually has opposite meaning, but Cho had her own style, so you can either use her style or the original style. Just saying, the original way is much, much harder. We'll decide whether there should be just one judge, or everyone should vote on their favorite later.
Have fun!!!!!!!

An Ode to Fame: by Brookeira
How the mighty have fallen,
ruined by time,
stoic winged statues,
falling from the peaks upon which they built themselves,
like darker, tattered, tarnished angels,
blinded, felled by the sun, the limelight,
all just followers of Icarus,
they flew too far, too high,
the famous fade,
the idols crumble,
the gardens wither,
for no one lasts forever.
All fade from the limelight.
REVERSE:
All fade from the limelight,
for no one lasts forever.
The gardems wither,
the idols crumble,
the famous fade,
they flew too far, too high,
all just followers of Icarus,
blinded, felled by the sun, the limelight,
like darker, tattered, tarnished angels,
falling from the peaks upon which they built themselves,
stoic winged statues,
ruined by time,
how the mighty have fallen.

Light Ballad
Light, shining through the window
Making colored patterns
On the wall.
How beautiful!
Symbolizing life,
Not death
It is lovely.
FLIP
It is lovely.
Symbolizing death,
Not life..
How beautiful!
On the wall
Making colored patterns,
Light, shining through the window.

Will NO ONE do the hard version?!
Nothing against Cho, of course, it's just--What's wrong with the hard version?

The True Meaning of Magic
Hope.
Happiness.
Love.
But the true word is
Magic

Love.
Happiness.

Here's another!
A never-ending second of joy
Friendship.
Made to last through the toughest of times.
Hardy, yet fragile.
Broken like glass.
Shattered.
Tattered.
Then gone.
Now blooming.
Forever friends.
*Flip!*
Forever friends.
Now blooming.

Tattered.
Shattered.
Broken like glass.
Hardy, yet fragile.
Made to last through the toughest of times.
Friendship.
A never-ending second of joy.
