Chatterbox: Inkwell

The Writing Thing!!!!

The Writing Thing!!!!

So I had an idea about: what if we had a writing cluby thing. So we will each have our places (explained below) and we will make a whole book (or series!)!

We can have a max of 10 points.

One point jobs

Charrier: Designs the Charrie 1-2 people

Charrie Sculpter: will sculpt the charries in 3D 1-2 people

Two point jobs:

Animater (drawer): draws on computer 1-2 people

object designer: designs what original objects look like 1-3 people

food/clothes/everyday thing designer: designs food, clothes, etc. 1-4 people

Three point jobs:

hand drawer: draws stuff by hand 1-2 people

Drafter/lister: lays everything out 1-2 people

Nature designer: designs the landscape of the world 2-4 people

Four point jobs:

Spelling Police: checks final story's  spelling 1-2 people

Grammar Police: checks final story's grammar 1-2 people

Five point jobs:

Final Writer: writes the final book/story

So there we go. I pick

Charrie Designer (1)

Object designer (3)

Lister (6)

Nature designer (9)

Oh also we have to agree on pretty much everything so yeah. I will bring up a main charrie later bye!

Should I draw anything? Tarsida? Uru? Sildrun? Please tell me if I need to work on anything.

You can work on Tarsida, Lilani, or Sildrun if you would like!

I'm working on Uru, and he's holding Silvana's staff, so if you want to make Silvana, please wait until I post Uru)

SHOOTSHOOTSHOOTSHOOT! CAPPED SLEEVES! I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE CAPPED SLEEVES! UGGGHHHH, now I have to do the whole thing over... I'm so sorry about the rant, I shouldn't have forgotten the capped sleeves. And I did the male one with long, flowey sleeves, too. I was so proud of them, I should have known I'd do something wrong. Ah, well. Sorry again about the rant. I'm so tired...

I drew Silvana and Uru!

@Cockleburr, Silvana is an anchient goddess, so the style of the nikerj can have changed if you want. I'm sorry about drawing it, but it's kind of hard not to when drawing a human goddess for this world.

Here's the sketch of Sildrun. Before I finish and color him, what clothes should he wear? If he's a prince, should he wear an Asthrons and Nikrej? Also- shoes. What shoes do they wear in this world?

If you want me to change anything or have any suggestions, please tell me.

Here's an idea for their shoes, if it's useful--

Erkthong:  This common shoe consists of layers of cloth or leather or animal-coats or anything handy, bound about the foot with leather thongs, or even vines. Like most things the Commoners eat and wear, no pair of Erkthongs is precisely alike-- it all depends on the preference and/or ability of the crafter. For example-- a Commoner who wan't particularly good at hunting or trapping, or was averse to it, probably wouldn't have fur-skin Erkthongs, unless they traded for the material.  Erkthongs get their name from the 'errrrrrrrrrrk' sound the leather thongs begin to make when they are beginning to wear through.  Erkthongs follow the pattern of the other Common clothes in another way, too-- the material itself is simple, but the binding can be done creatively, making the Erkthong both practical and artistic.

The Higher-Class folk could wear Stumpers-- a shoe very like a moccasin, excepting the fact that they look as though they have boxes glued to their soles. These 'boxes' are made of seasoned wood, and are wittled to match the shape of the wearers foot, so that they may be fitted to the moccasin. This adds about a foot to the wearers height (to reflect the Upper Classe's superiority to the Lower), and, unless the wearer has truly mastered them, make a stumping sound when in use-- one of the reasons for their name. The Upper Class are tought to wear these shoes when they come of age, eventually mastering the trick employed in walking gracefully with a 12-inch sole to your shoe.  Before they quite get the hang of it, however, they can be seen stumping about like anything-- another reason for the shoe's name. The last reason is that the Commoners find this footwear to be highly ridiculous and 'Stumper' is used as a synonym to 'puzzle'-- in that it is a stumper why anyone would wear these impractical shoes.

That's all for now-- and not very well written. Sorry- I'm in a bit of a rush. Hope this was helpful! :)

Okay, Thank you! I'm going to draw Sildrun in an Asthron and Nikrej (I think I spelled those right) and stumpers, unless anyone rejects that.
