I am soooo sorry that I have not posted yet, and I feel really bad that I have to do this, but I'm going to drop out. I am really busy lately and I'm doing Camp Nano so I don't think I can add another writing project. I know it's really annoying when the person you've been waiting on for so long decides to quit, so again, I am soooooo sorry.

Ok! I'm a girl by the way. Parker can be a boy or a girls name so that might have not been clear. But all of my charries are girls so that's a pretty good hint I'm not a boy. Anyways
Leona-
I wake up. It's a weekend which means I don't have to be worried. But when I come downstairs my parents are there with a very worried expression on their faces.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"A giant was spotted outside of the city " my mom replies. "You are one of the kids selected to stop it."
"But why me!" Frustrated I pace across the room. "Giants are supposed to be fierce creatures not something a few teenagers can fight!"
"People believe in you Leona," my dad says. "Now stop complaining."

"Ai-you!" Mama exclaims. "There ees een ogre attacking the ceety!"
"Wei-ming, you and your meimei [Sister] have mofa [Magic]," Baba chimes in. "Maybe you two could--"
"Eet ees too dahn-gerous!" my accented mother argues.
"Mama, Baba, it's okay. I'll do it." I break into their argument.
"No!" Mama exclaims again.
Many arguments later, my mother finally gives in. "Wei-ming, tell your sister. You and Qi-qi will meet with the other mageecal cheeldren to get together, then you will all plan out something. Qi-qi is in her room. Go." Mama points upstairs.
I stiffen my shoulders with resolve. "Yes, Mama." Then I turn around, towards the stairs, and head up towards my little sister.
