St.Owl sat in
St.Owl sat in a compartment by herself, reading a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, trying to ignore the butterfiles flapping around in her stomach. Yet again, she pulled out the letter with the crumpled Hogwarts seal and read the acceptance letter fondly. A real, true, for-sure invitation to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!
She clutched it close to her chest and sighed, like some girls do with love letters. She pinched herself yet again, just to make absolutely positive she wasn't dreaming.
It hurt.
She wasn't dreaming.

Hey peeps! Big Harry Potter fan! Could I be in your story St.Owl? I'mm almost 13 so maybe 3rd year. Let's go 2 Hogwarts!
(September 6, 2015 - 1:48 pm)
Hi again! I am very confused! I have never done a rp before, so I did not know we already started! Oops! Sorry! I will have to read the story to see where it is. Can't wait! P.S. If you start a new year, could you include me? I would really appreciate it!

It's not an RP, Reads (can I call you Reads?)-- there are four kinds of stories on Inkwell. An RP is when someone posts a plot idea and people make charries and write from their POVs, a Round Robin is when someone writes a sentence or two of a story and people continue it by adding sentences, a Ski Lodge/Murder Mystery is when someone writes a humorous murder mystery featuring the Chatterboxers, and a CB story, which is similar to a murder mystery, although there are no murders. This is a CB story.
Hope this clears things up, Reads, and welcome to the Chatterbox!

Adding on to what Somebody said (thanks very much, by the way), I'm afraid it's a little late for you to join, Reads. I'm very sorry.
Who says there won't be any murders? Muhuhahahahaaaaaaa......
I have a terrible case of writers' block at the moment. If an idea strikes me, you all will be the first to know, but there may not be an installation today. My apologies.

St. Owl, I hate writer's block. Your medicine for today: get Hermione to discover a dark and terrible secret about the letter correspondence. Working up to this might help you. ( it does to me!)
Good luck!!!!!!!!!

Actually, um.... what should I call you? THEBAKERREADERAUTHOR is rather a lot to type. I'll get back to you on that...
I have a good far-fetched plan already, it's just the individual posts I need to figure out. A little here, a little there... Oh! Idea! Here we go!!

Brookiera was lonely.
You get that way sometimes. Not many people liked her, and she wasn't really sure why. Of course, those new first years- Dragonrider and St.Owl and Indigo- were all right, and so was Danie (who kept disappearing once a month. That was strange), but what she really wanted was someone her own age to talk to.
She scribbled down a few names, not really listening to Professor Binns as he droned on about goblin wars. She'd read about it all already, anyway, and no one was listening to the ghost. Brookiera was pretty sure that a riot could break out under his nose and he would still talk about Emeric the Evil and Urbage the Ugly without batting a transparent eye.
"This place could do with a pie or two," said a voice above Brookiera's head. She looked up.
"Yeah, definitely could."
Two people were leaning on her desk. One of them seemed to be made entierely out of fire. The other was wearing a mask and a cape.
"It could do with a few fires, too," said the fire-person. "We should've gone down to the dungeons!"
"Shifting and Volcano went to the dungeons!" said the masked person. "This will be way more fun! Look at how many people I can throw pies at!"
"There's nothing flammable," the fire-person pouted. "And the teacher's already dead."
"You were going to kill the teacher?" asked Brookiera against her will.
"I TOLD YOU TO STOP TALKING!" shouted the masked person. "NOW SHE'S NOTICED US! GO, GO, GO, GO!!!!"
He summoned a pie out of nowhere and threw it at the nearest kid.
Brookiera sighed.
Her mind raced.
I could tell them to stop, she thought, but they probably won't listen. They're acting rather coo-coo. Strange. Senile. Maybe they just want attention. And the best way to stop someone is to not give them what they want.
So, she calmly opened a book.
"HEY!" said the masked person. "HEY! I'M SMASHING PIES INTO YOUR CLASSMATES' FACES!"
"Quicker, quicker!" said the voice. "The torches will soon be relit."
"Half a minute!" said Dori, who was at the back next to Bilbo, and a decent fellow. He made the hobbit scramble onto his shoulders as best he could with his tied hands, and then off they all went at a run, with a clink-clink of chains, and many a stumble, since they hand no hands to steady themselves with. Not for a long while did they stop, and by that time they must have been right down in the very mountain's heart.
"HEY! ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?"
Then Gandalf lit up his wand. Of course it was Gandalf; but just then they were too busy to ask how he got there. He took out his sword again, and again it flashed in the dark by itself. It burned with a rage that made it gleam as if goblins were about; now it was bright as blue flame for delight in the killing of the great lord of the cave.
Unfortunately, at that moment, a large custard cream pie fell across the pages of The Hobbit.
"Hey! That was a hardcover edition!" Brookiera shouted before she coud stop herself. "Really!"
Then she siphoned off the pie with her wand and picked up the book again.
"Hey, Masked, can we go?" asked the flaming person. "This is getting REALLY BORING."
"Shifting and Volcano are lucky," grumbled Masked. "At least they get reactions, not a bookworm that can't keep her NOSE OUT OF A FREAKING BOOK! WHAT'S SO INTERESTING IN THERE THAT STOPS YOU FROM APPLAUDING A WELL-PLACED COCONUT CREAM PIE WITH BRUSSELS SPROUTS, EH?!"
"Oh, shut up," Brookiera said smoothly.
"Let's go," sulked Masked, and the two slammed the door behind them.

Oh gosh, I can't wait untill Princess Icy here makes her return!
Princess: Mhm. Probably going to be sooo boring. **Yawn**
On second thought, I think we could all do without her.
(September 7, 2015 - 4:45 pm)
Somebody: Thanks sooo much for the explanation! That helps a lot! And I love the name Reads!
St.Owl: That's ok! Thanks for letting me know! I'm trying to join your cloning rp! I'm excited!
(September 7, 2015 - 12:15 pm)
That was so accurately me... I almost choked. Amazing job.
(September 7, 2015 - 5:26 pm)
Oh, wow, I'm glad, Brook! I find that most of the people I write about end up acting like me... I'm glad this wasn't one of thise cases!
Also, I'd like to make a mass apology. You see, it's a little difficult with *makes quick head count* 21 people to make everyone stand out equally. I'm doing the best I can, but some of you may not be mentioned as much as others. And I'm sorry for that.
(September 7, 2015 - 7:59 pm)
I love, love, LOVE your writing! Can' wait to see more of it!
