Castles are famed for their unknown parts. There's the Keep Secret, the refuge in the walls, the hidden passageways, and the parts that are accessible to everyone are hard enough to navigate! But, there are certain inhabitants of the castle that know almost everything about it. Who are they?
Did you say the king or queen? That is incorrect. They're too busy sitting on their thrones, solving the villagers' problems.
Did you say the prince of princess? Closer. Many get so bored that they go exploring, but they do not know as much as the answer to this question.
Did you say the servants? YES! In the old times, the rule was, servants' work is to be seen, not the servants themselves. Castle architects came up with the perfect solution- secret passageways!
These passageways not only have entrances in every room in the castle, they also lead to the other places, like the Keep Secret (an underground cave with boats that you can escape by), and the booby-trapped secret passageways that were decoys for enemy invaders.
Nowadays ((meaning not now, but when the RP takes place)), these are hardly needed anymore. But they're still useful. However, one foot out of line could mean an ugly, ugly demise.
And this is how the RP starts.
You can be the king, the queen, a prince or princess, a servant, whatever you want, you just have to live inside the castle. My long-term plan is to have a war take place and all the nooks and crannies have to be used, but my short-term plan is a bunch of young explorers who are in danger of a terrible death.
Will they be lucky... or not? You decide! All I want is for you to stay dedicated and on prompt. We can't have the people of the castle leave, because the main idea is the passages. We can't have a normal villager as a charrie, because they can't live in the castle. And above all, THE CASTLE CANNOT BE DESTROYED. Cannonballs can fall, but the general castle MUST STAY UP. Okay? Great!
Two last things: this is MEDIEVAL. And not fantasy medieval, either, so no fairies or talking storks or anything like that, please. This has to be realistic. (which, yes, does mean that our female characters need to wear dresses.) Also, in terms of charries, ONE, PLEASE. Not twins, not a married couple, but one. Also, when I say no more charries, NO MORE CHARRIES, at least until the war starts. When the war starts, you can be an enemy if you wish. You'll probably have to die, though.

Appearance: Long black hair tied into a ponytail and held by a bandanna. Tall and fairly pretty, with freckles and green eyes.
Personality: Sweet and shy. She's obedient and hardworking. Kind of quiet.
Backstory: Ehh... the fancy stuff always comes to me during the RP.
Job in the Castle: A maid. She keeps things clean as a pin!

appearance: brown hair brown eyes, normal height, brown dress
personality: adventures, fun, loves exploring, and hates sewing
backstory: Was the first child of two. Grew up helping her father with the poor farm. Both her parents and sister fell ill to high fever and died. Was taken to live with her aunt who sent her to the castle to live there.
job at the castle: servant, works for th cook and is often sent to get supplies from the celler so she has time to explore.

other surah is kind of a theif. just a little bit. she wants to have a horse of her own and whenever she is sent to take a meal to someone ( not very often ) she takes sonthing small. she has a small hidden room that she keeps all her stolen stuff in. a small room under the fourth step up into the north towershe keeps it in a little chest witch was a last gift from her mother.

Name: Kestran
Age: 17
Appearance: Curly dark brown hair, dark skin.
Personality: Mature, tries to resolve disputes peacefully. Good with people, both older and younger.
Backstory: (see Job for family relations)
Job: Prince. He's the half-cousin of the current queen (the queen had a brother much younger than she is. The brother married someone and had one child, but then the brother died. The wife married again, and Kestran was born). Basically, he can never be king because he's technically in the queen's generation and he's only half-related.
Other: Since he's kind of between generations because of the age of the queen's brother (see Job), he doesn't have many friends his age. Instead, he listens in on the royal debates, reads a lot, and takes care of his younger noble relatives. Secretly knows how to sew (he takes care of little kids a lot and has sat in on his little cousins/sisters/nieces' embroidery lessons), which may come in handy. Has discovered a small secret passage in the playroom while exploring with one of his cousins and secretly stashes his sewing stuff there.
Question for St.: Can I make a list of all his family who will probably pop up later? Also, when shall we start?

Appearance: Long dark red hair, bright green eyes, pale skin. High cheek ones.
Personality: Regel, not really loyal to the king. Very independent. Rather snobbish.
Backstory: She's the couisin of the king.

Age: 14
Appearance: Perfect. Flawless, beautiful skin, not to tall or too short, skinny, but not the sickly kind of skinny. Perfect curly blonde hair that she wears up in a bun with two curly strands sticking out. Perfect poufy dresses and perfect heels, but you can never tell she wears heels, she never shows any kind of discomfort.
Personality: Like her personality, perfect. She is always polite, smart, courageous, wise, generous, ETC.
Backstory: Umm... Her mom is the queen and her dad is the king. That's about it.
Job in the castle: She is the princess. The perfect princess.
Other: Okay, okay! Her life is a lie. She actually isn't perfect at all. She carries around a sketchbook where she draws pictures of her real self and then she writes down the events of her day-but she changes it to what it would be like if she was-well, herself. She's actually an outgoing, mischevious tomboy that most would call a hot-head. Only one person knows about this-a servant, with whom she has formed a secret friendship with. (Does anyone want their servant charrie to be her friend?)

Personality: Shy, tries to be perfect, but always messes everything up. Cries a lot.
Backstory: She's one of the maids' little sisters (St. Owl, can she be Abilene's?)
Job in the Castle: A maid.
Other: She found a passage in the castle where she often hides and cries after messing something up.
