So it has been just forever since I've done an rp for multiple reasons. Time, too many, none that caught my interesting, etc. etc. So now I'm finally making one that I've been thinking about forever.
The general frame of the idea takes place in a dystopian yet steampunk themed society. The world's culture and lifestyle is now is run mostly and dominated by machinery which is under the control of the once good but now corrupt government. Due to the government's corruption, an underground society formed to revolt against the government. Over the course of time however, the exhaust and output of the machinery
began to affect the people. Born to a handful of people were children with extraordinary abilities. These children had powers.
So I hope the idea was clear, it'll cultivate more as we rp. And usually I don't but I'm instating a few rules:
-No overpowering (if I think your character may be too powerful I may ask you to revise it a bit)
-No AEs please
-Please don't constantly post. This is going to be a slower rp. If you've just posted, or recently posted, please wait some time to let others have a chance to post. I myself can't get on frequently, and I know others can't always either. And please check to see who the last person who posted was, and if their comment has been posted yet. It makes it less confusing.
-Please write in full paragraphs, not just a few lines. Again, it just helps to make it less confusing and helps it to flow better. Also please caption the top with your character's name so we know whom we're reading from. I always forget whose character is whose.

I've been asked to save a spot for Indigo, Teresa, Theo, and True, so after that I'm allowing about five other people to join. Simply because a lot of people joining makes it chaotic and often times people don't stay committed when there're too many.

Just to be clear, Avalon is already part of the underground. Her aunt and mother (her father was killed) are some of the agents and she has been hanging out there for as long as she can remember. When she was nine she was allowed to begin training. I'm also adding that she is good with a dagger.

Personality: Quiet, plotting, a good liar, a bit insane.
Appearance: Straight wavy black hair, golden eyes, and black and gold clothes.
Extra: Her power is... well, think Hazel from Heroes of Olympus. She can summon, detect, and control precious stones and metals, except they aren't cursed.

Name: Eyva Rose
Age: Fifteen
Personality: Well, y'all know how the personality develops throughout the RP, but here's the general idea. Eyva's a tomboy, and quite strong-minded. She's confident, but not overly so. Her temper is her worst flaw; when she is angry it flares up and makes her do things she regrets afterwards. She doesn't show her soft side often, (she's rather ashamed of it), but when she does she is like a totally different girl.
Appearance: She has long wavy blonde hair with dark red streaks, clear blue eyes, and fair skin. She's quite strong, and not exactly thin, but not overwieght either. Her nose turns up a little, and she has a narrowish face. She is about 5'4".
Extra: She has better-than-normal eyesight and hearing.

Well... I wrote a lot about my little character here. And... her she is! Ladies and Gentlemen, Rose Tavern!
Name: Rose Tavern
Age: 15
Personality: It’s hard for me to say a character’s exact personality before I’ve written them... So who knows?! It will be exciting to find out.
Appearance: Rose is somewhat short, 5’2”. She keeps hoping she’ll hit a growth spur, but that seems unlikely, seeing as how her body has already matured into womanhood. Although she’s 15, most people think she’s in her early twenties, which amuses Rose on good days, and irritates her on bad. Her long, tangly hair is a dull brown that she absolutely loathes. She looks enough like the other Taverns to fit into the family, except for her eyes, a brilliant emerald green that stand out when compared to the Taverns’ deep brown.
Extra: When Rose was a child, something happened, something that resulted in her being on her own in the streets. Rose can’t tell you what happened, though. It was ten years ago. She’s now an employee at a small restaurant and repair shop on one side of the town, Tavern’s Tavern & Robot Repair. She doesn’t know anything else. She doesn’t even know her real name. The owner of the restaurant found her on the streets when she was just a child and took her in. Rose could barely speak for herself, strangely enough. But the owner took her in, named her Rose, and taught Rose everything she knows. Still, some nights she has strange dreams...
(I actually have her larger backstory written out, as well as the knowledge of her power... Which I’m not sure if I want to reveal yet, but no one yet has it on the RP... And it’s kind of a variation of a power, so even if someone did, it would probably be different than what I’m thinking. If people are uncomfortable with not knowing what it is, I'll just say, but it's tied to my character's larger backstory, so I'd prefer to reveal it through writing. Anyways. It exists.)
