Harvest Guardians
Harvest Guardians RP
As you might guess, this is indeed the first RP I have ever made, so forgive me if I do something wrong. I got the idea for this while husking some corn yesterday. I was all like, "Why don't I do an RP on harvests?" Yeah, I know, it's a wierd way to get an idea. But ideas come from everywhere, don't they? I don't have a full plot yet, but I'm working on it. I'll post it after a few people join.
RULES~
~(VERY IMPORTANT!!) If you can't stick to this RP and post at least once a week, don't join. I hate it when people make/join an RP then forget about it the next day. I want this RP to finish, so please, please only join if you're going to be dedicated to your part.
~ONE charrie per person. Sorry, but it's easier.
~Ideal amount of charries would be 6, but 8 is max.
~Enjoy!!

She is usually wearing a light ankle length dress, with flutter sleeves. On her feet are wooden sandals.
Personality: She's an optimistic person, loyal to her friends, openminded, and helpful. She's strong, and can defend herself well. Noah~
Mia laughed. And, to be honest, it sounded like a sweet nightingale. And it was such a carefree laugh. I grin to myself and look into the sunset. It's beautiful and all worrisome thoughts fade away. It's so beautiful...and- my thoughts are intturupted by May. I don't want to go. So i do something that us farmers often do when working. I sing. It first startles the others, then Mia starts to sing, for being so shy she has an amazing voice. And slowly the others join, May being the last. We sing of prosper and hardship, we sing of love and freindship, we all sing a chorus together, then take turns making verses. It's fun, but eventually we relent and listen to May. At the end of the song i glance at Mia and notice her glancing at me. We both give a sheepish grin and then look away

Red~
I refuse to sing with Noah and the others. Finally, June noticed my mouth was closed.
"Sing to the sunset," she commanded almost gleefully.
"Uh-uh. I don't sing," I say and she laughs. I slowly smile, but my smile fades to a look of shock when we come upon the fields. Everything is dead. Everything is yellow and brown, and there is not a single green leaf.
"My radishes!" I cry, forgetting to be shy. Mother says that I sometimes act shy, but I am the opposite. She says that I need to forget to be shy, and then I will be fine around the other children. When she tells me this, I usually say something that makes her smile or laugh, and she says: "You are spicy, my little radish, not shy!" And then we both laugh together. But now, this is not a time for laughing.

AAAH ROMANCE IS BLOSSOMING! I MUST WRITE!
.:Mia:.
So we work. For how long, I don't know. We just work, digging underneath the roots of the crops, in silence at first, and then Noah begins to sing.
The shovels stop moving. Everyone stares for a moment, and I hesitate before proceeding to do something that is quite possibly the boldest thing I've ever done in my life.
I sing along.
Softly, but audibly enough, I sing along nonetheless. It's a little duet, Noah catching my eye and grinning every few seconds as he continues the song. After a minute or so, April sighs dramatically and joins in. Then June; then Tom. Just as we reach the next verse, May throws her hands up in surrender and finally sings the last few words with us.
"Sing to the sunset." June nudges Red, who hasn't opened his mouth once during this time frame, indignantly.
"Uh-uh," Red protests, "I don't sing." June laughs at this good-naturedly.
We come to an abrupt halt when we reach the vacant fields, however, and the aura of amusement immediately vanishes. Red blinks once - twice. Astonishment clouds his features as he gazes at his radish patch, barren and desolate. "My radishes!" he yelps.

Noah~
"It can't be..." I whisper to myself. Not only are Red's radishes dead, but beyond that, everything is dead. Trees, plants, crops, everything. I draw a shaky breath that seems to bring everyone out of their trance. Red is on the ground, his head buried in his hands. I can't bear to watch so I turn and walk away from the others. Why? Then, tree. "Oof!" I exclaim, walking back awkwardly. Looking up I see a massive tree. Alive, but barely. A small grin spreads across my face as an idea enters my head, then I climb. At the top of the tree I stop for a breath, then take in my surroundings. "Noooo!!!!!" I shout. Behind us, everything is dead; before us, everything is dead. If not dead then dying. I close my eyes and lean back against the trunk of the massive tree. I can almost feel its life fading away. I take a deep breath and open my eyes; it almost hurts to look, but I can't help but take it all in. There are dead things everywhere. Along with a large grey building spurting out smoke like there's no tommorow. Wait, what??!? I peer closer. There is no doubt about it. A huge building, even though it's far away still looks big, is in the distance. There is a huge cloud of green-grey smoke clouded above it. A river runs right next to it, and looks a neon color, which I can not name. What is this madness!?!

Red~
Noah and the others climb the only living tree left while June and I examine our garden. There is no saving my radishes. Everyone of them is dead.
"No! My carrots!" June is looking down at her weeldless row in the garden. Yellow carrot leaves droop to the ground, and the roots underneath are shriveled and brown. April's pea plants are flat against the ground, Noah's potato plants are brown and crumbling.
"I'm sorry, June, you worked so hard. I can't understand how this happened!" I say, the words surprising me.
"I-I we have to find out what is responsible," June declares in determination.
"Hey guys! Come look at this!" Noah calls from the tree.
