Amethyst~
As soon as Joy Rose and I were inside, we rush back to the dining hall, or rather, Joy Rose grabs my hand and yanks me all the way to the dining hall. She pulls me to a seat, and abrubtly sits down. I lose my balance and let go of the wildflowers in my hand. They fly in all directions, eventually setting down on the table. Mother looks at me reproachfully, but she does nothing but fan herself and sigh.
"Good morning Princess Joy Rose, I am glad you could join us for breakfast," my father says, coughing slightly. Joy Rose instantly begins stuffing herself, and Cale resumes conversation with the king. Suddenly, I hear the staccato tap-tap of guards' shoes outside the doors. The huge oak doors open without a creak, and two guards march into the room, looking urgent.
"Your majesty, the Eternity Jewel is gone!" one of them says. Mother gasps and looks like she might faint, Cale squints like he has a headache, and Joy Rose reaches for another pastry. Father simply looks at the guard, expressionless.
"Thank you for notifying me. Kindly allow me to finish my breakfast." It would sound rather gallant and kingly if wasn't coughing the whole time. All of us stare at Father in shock; Joy Rose even drops her pastrey, and Mother actually does faint.

Rose Bud- I had Allyson going into the woods because I think part of the plan was to have her away from the castle so that no guards or maids could find her. Should I have someone come get her?

Allyson-
After a long time in the woods with no one coming to get me, I decide to find my own way back. Eventually after at least 2 hours of trekking through the forest, I stumble into a clearing, tired and hungry, and find 3 people sitting on tree stumps and talking. Wait a second, one of them has wings!
"Millennia?" is all I can say.
"Allyson?," is her startled reply.
"How did you get here?" we ask each other at exactly the same time.
I tell her my story and she tells me hers. This is Calcspar and this is Ella, in case you couldn't tell, she finishes.
"Well, umm.... hi guys, would you happen to have some food? And maybe a place for me to rest?" I ask.
"Oh of course," says Calcspar, who I'm not sure that I trust, but I will take food and a bed from anyone at the moment.
He hands me some soup which is delicious and then offers me his hammock. I take a short nap and when I wake up, I find that Millennia and her friends have abandoned the clearing. I hear talking though and when I find them, they are sitting in a small meadow with tall green grass and wildflowers.
"Millennia," I say,"wouldn't you like to come back to the castle with me?"

Calcspar~
After an exillerating chase of several Chitzah wolves with Ella, we head back to camp in good spirits. Perhaps I won't work alone anymore, I think, looking at Ella, and thinking of Millenia. While walking through the forrest, Ella and I collect things like roots, mushrooms and berries that are edible. I atempted to kill a rabbit for food, but Ella would hear none of it, and though she was too tentative to under a word against me, her eyes begged me to leave the rabbit alone. Suddenly, the trees above me swished and the top branches snapped. A white form soared around the tree tops, and I knew emidiatly it was Millenia.
"Down here!" I call to her, and she slowly descends. We walk the short distance back to the clearing, and I put away the nuts and berries for a time where we didn't have food. We, I am already thinking of the three of us as a team. I made a soup of some dusty potatoes I had stollen before I arrived in these woods, and when a wandering girl came upon our camsite, I offered her food, which I would never have usually done. I don't realize that the girl is talking to Millenia like they know each other until she asks Millenia a question.
"wouldn't you like to come back to the castle with me?" She asks, and I stare at both of them. Millenia looks from me and Ella to the other girl. We're a team now, I want to say, but the words shock me even as I think them. Little do I know that the forgotten jewelry case in my pocket is the cause of my changings. Nor do I understand that all owners of the Eternity Jewel start well enough with a change of heart and good spirits, but eventually power takes them down another path.

"l-l though Leo is alright and-well, you didn't need me and-"
"We didn't want you to leave," says Allyson. "And yes, Leo is alright."
"It's complicated," l say after a pause. "How about . . . ," l glance at the sun. "Come back at noon." Allyson looks confused, but she consents to my plan and departs the camp.
After she leaves, l head into the forest, away from the others. l need peace and quiet to think.
What am l to do? l wonder, leaning againest a tree. Despite what Allyson said, l feel like they don't need me back at the castle, and besides what would the king say?
On the other hand, why go with them? l feel like my loyalties are divided. l sign. l wish something would happen, anything.

Ella~
I watched quietly as the girl named Allyson left. Did Millennia really want to go with her? Of course, Allyson was nice and all, but wasn't Millenina happy with us? I sighed quietly and stood up. I quickly climbed the nearest tree and watched the castle's flag flap in the wind. I blinked as a thought came into my mind. Was Calcspar nicer then when I first met him? Maybe he's just getting warmed up to me. He does keep a watchful eye on his satchel though... I shook myself and started to climb back down, lost in my thoughts. Suddenly, the branch I had put my foot on snapped and I fell down the rest of the way. I heard something snap, then felt a burning pain in my arm. My vision grew spotty and all i could feel was the pain in my arm.

Calcspar~
Millenia, Ella and Allyson all left me alone at our camp. I removed the Eternity Jewel from my satchel, and took a deep breath. Holding it made me feel so good and placid. I close my eyes for a second, and prepare to open the jewelry case. As my fingers wrap around the edges something stops me. A sudden thought reverberates inside my head: Don't open the jewel. Then, I remember an old tale I had heard at a tavern in the South Kingdom. It was a story about an owner of the Eternity Jewel, and I had thought it was pure fiction. It told of a man who had the jewel in his possession, and the men relating it talked of seemingly magical powers that brought the kingdom prosperity. These powers supposedly came from the jewel, and the man decided to open it. When he looked upon it, he was instantly overcome by its power, and he used the stone to create evil. Eventually he was challenged by another man named Quintus (if you remember the name of Amethyst's father, you'll know where this is leading), and he was somehow turned into a stone. This stone caused fear in the hearts of all who neared it (Cale and Evelyn, this is the Stone of Tremulesnous). Remembering this tale, I shove the Jewel back into my satchel and pace the camp. Suddenly, I hear howling in the distance, and the sound of twigs snapping. The Chitzah wolves are back! I think, and my hand on my sword, I begin to tiptoe into the forrest. Remembering Ella and her knowledge of animals, I look around for her as I go.
"Ella?" I call into the forest, while tracking the Chitzah wolves. No answer. I continue calling, but I hear nothing. She wouldn't have gone very far from our camp, and I am suddenly worried. This is a new feeling to me, as I have never been worried about anyone other than myself before, and even that is rare. I crash through the underbrush and suddenly catch sight of Ella lying on the ground. I race nimbly towards her, and bend down next to her body. She is still breathing, and it looks like she has fainted. I gingerly pick her up, and then I hear a growl. I turn to see myself surrounded my Chitzah wolves, 7... 8 no more I think, trying to count them. There is no hope of me defeating them and getting Ella to safety, so, for the first time in possibly my whole life, I call for help.
"MILLENIA!"

Millennia~
There is a faint shout. "MILLENNIA!" It comes again. What in the world do they want? l sign and glide down from the tree. l run to the sound.
Oh, oh my. l halt in fright. Calcspar and Ella are surrounded by wolves. At my arrival, they turn their attention to me. A few of them advance, growling. Without thinking what l am doing, l charge into the midst of the wolves.
"RUN FOR IT! RUN!" l yell at Calcspar. He stands there, looking shocked. "DID YOU HEAR ME? RUN!" l scream at him. He doesn't need more prompting. He runs, holding Ella in his arms.
The wolves close around me. There is no escape. If l were to fly away, the wolves would jump and grab me. l look at each of them, awaiting my fate.
