i know there was a mermaid RP once and it was very successful. Maybe we could do a plot where the siren king will start a war with the mermaids and the kids of the original cherries? And like there is a prophecy about the kids of te originals will defeat the sirens and they are called the golden tails. And the golden tails can control all the elements? Even not the original ones from the first. We will start when we get five people.....So yea... Join!
RULES
1. You CAN be a siren's kid.

"I need to talk to you," Mom said.
We walked up to my room, and pushed a ceiling panel up. We went into the attic. Wait? A attic? Since when? I open my mouth.
"I'll explain. We. We are mermaids."
"Wha-" I try to say.
"Come," she says hopping down into my room, opening.
"You have no idea how crazy this sounds," I say.
"Well Dad's a mermaid," Mom says jumping over the balcony.
I hop over the balcony and land flawlessly. Mom dives into the water, her dagger appears attached to her pants-wait - shirt and tail? Ok... Not weird at all.
i look down and I see my legs transforming into a tail. A shiny golden tail.
Mom looks at my tail and gasps, "The prophecy. The golden tails." She gasps as a white blouse appears and a golden cape appears on me. "We must go visit the king," she says. Grabbing my hand she looks around and calls out to a mermaid sculpting coral, "Etta! We need to see your husband."

I dip my feet into the water, feeling the scales reach up my leg. I take a leap of faith and dive into the blue.
My mother, Jackie, never knew much about mermaids. She became a mermaid by accident. And wanted to change back to normal.
But I can't do that. I swim toward the castle, seeing mermaids in the distance. I then see someone in the shadows. Why is she hiding?... I need to go get a closer look.

Etta swims in and says, "Come." We don't deny and follow. We swim to a grand sea green castle and through the gates. I see a few other golden tails. One with black scales down her back. I notice Merella behind us with her cloak on. We swim into the great hall. I look behind me again and Merella is rubbing the coral paint off her tail. We swim into the throne room and the king says: "The golden tails have come."

I look at the ground. I hate everyone looking at me like this. In an hour, my golden tail will be back to purple. These others obviously aren't elemental masters, they look confused.
"Is that her?"
"The one with the scar?"
"She's the rarest type-"
I absently touched my scar. My mother, whose name was also Thyst, had a bigger one. We had both narrowly escaped a DarkMer, and we still had the scars.
Suddenly the king strode in. The ones that were born mermaids, like me, knew to bow, but the king scowled at the human-born ones. They saw us and bowed.
"So," the king said, "you're all here."

I duck farther into the coral because I see a few people looking in my direction. Two of the people who looked my way also have golden tales but nobody has black and golden ones. After tightening my golden cape a few times I swim out into open water. When I got closer to the castle I saw two mermaids talking and watching the golden tales. When they saw me they backed away and pointed. When I get to the back of the castle itself the guards, who had been watching me, said, "Halt. What are you doing here? We can see that you are a mermaid and a golden tale at that, but you have a black stripe down the back of your tale. If you were a human you would not know this, but all sirens have black tales. I think you are part siren, a half breed to be sure. Who were your parents?" "I don't know sir," I said. "I am an orphan." "H'mmm," the guard said, "how 'bout we take you back to siren ocean with us, then we will see what you will say." I gasped as their tales turnred black, then they took me by my arms and started swimming away.
She had swum around to the back gate so there were not any more mermaids to stare at her. Just so you know.

I watch the king behind the castle. He forgot about me. He forgot about me.
What should I do? Am I upset or not? Do they even know I exist?
I watch the king explain to the golden tails what it means to be a golden tail. I don't listen, as I don't think it's important.
I'm not needed. This is amazing. Suddenly, however, the king frowns.
"Wait. We are missing a golden tail..." The king sends for his guards.
"Check around the place. Maybe she got lost." I swim as fast as I can outta here. However, the guards have much more experience, and catch me. I try to squirm out of their grip as they bring me to the king.
"Why run?" the king asks.
"I don't want to be a golden tail," I snarl. Some of the mermaids gasp at my bravery... Actually, I think maybe my rudeness.

I swim next to the mermaid who announced she didn't want to be a golden tail and nod. "Neither do I."

"Be glad you have powers!" I yelled at them.
"It'll protect you from magic. I wasn't a golden when this happened, so I wasn't so lucky!" I yelled, exposing the nasty scar on my collarbone.
"Be grateful!" I yelled, and earth, fire, water, and air swirled together in the middle. I swam away angrily. "You should be!"
I sat on a rock. Why couldn't I have powers all the time? Then I wouldn't have the CurseScar...

I watch the girl scream out with interest. Gee, she must not get out of water that often. Frankly, she was probably born mermaid.
The king sighs.
"Go send for her. Talk to her. Anything to get her back!" The king waves his hands out of impatience.
"And you two. I'm the king. You aren't suppos-"
"You could be a king or a siren for all I care! What's in it for me? I never wanted this job!" I cry out. By this time, the scared mermaid is back.
"Good. Now, lis-"
"I'm done with this. Seeya, jerks." I stab the guards with my elbow and race out. But something pulls me back.
"Oh no you don't!" The angry mermaid pulls me back with air. She's still angry.
"Forget it, loser!" I snap back at her. I know I lost. But I can at least try. She throws me into the ground.
"Listen. I don't wanna hurt you. But seriously; be a bit smarter," the girl snarls. I pick myself up.
"Yeah yeah. Oh man, I'm stuck with a bunch of losers who don't even know how to control their powers. "

The king swims around in a pacing motion. "Avelxa," he mutters, and his tail scales turn black. "Prove your powers," he says as his siren transformation finishes. "Die young prophets!" he hisses through gritted teeth. He lunged at me and sparks flew off my fingers. An emerald hit him in the head.
"Run!" Mom yells.
"Cotrection!" yells Etta. "Swim!" she yells as she slashes a siren guard with a dagger that matches my mom's.
Focus..... Come on Avery.... sparks, heated water water, and gems spun around me. I send it at the king, sending him flying. Everyone stares. "What?" I ask.
"Go. Now!" Mom yells as the golden tails get together. I hear them murmuring. Jeez... That.... Blast thing.... Wore me... Out. I think as I pass out, falling downward into the water, down.... Down....Down.....

Alica does not have a golden tail. What are sirens, and why are we all visting the king? Whaaaaaaaa....... i <3 mermaids but this rp confuses my brain.

I felt my anger boil up inside me, then suddenly blue fire flashes out of my hands and both guards fall dead. I swim as fast as I can, heading towards the castle. "I must tell the king," I keep thinking. "I must must tell the king". In a few minetes I reach the castle. I swim through the open gates and head towards the main hall. When I get there I peek in. I see chaos. Most of the golden tails are fighting in a knot. They are surrounded by black tailed sirens. I rush in and immediately send a ball of blue fire through a siren's head. Then I see a siren with a black crown heading straight for a girl with coral paint smeared on her tail. I sent some blue fire towards him but miss. He sees it and starts heading for me. I yelp and swim towards the roof. Then I dive down, seeing a dagger lying in the floor. I scoop it up and turn to face the king, only the king isn't there; in his place there is a giant octopus (with a crown ).

Thyst whirled, hurling ice blast and freezing three sirens. Her golden tail was fading, she would have to rely on her water skills now. Her golden tail couldn't come back for an hour.
She started to squeeze the water around the sirens, suffocating them. They collapsed, unconscious, and the others stared at me.
I whirled around and swam out, not noticing the other sirens swarming around the mermaids. They had no idea how to use their powers, and the sirens silently closed in...

I shoot air out, kicking a siren with my tail. I turn around, seeing the other mermaids getting surrounded.
"Shoot," I mutter, shooting my firey hot bubbles to another siren. I see a girl fall onto the sea floor, and I race over to her.
"Get up! Get up get up get up... ," I whisper. She wakes up, and then moans.
"Come on. We gotta go help." She groans. Then suddenly I feel something cut through my hip and I scream out.
One of the sirens had run their spear through my hip. I wince.
"Double shoot."

I gasp as the king swims closer to me. I can smell his breath on my face. His eyes glow red. I gasp and bring the dagger up. It colides with the king and he yells and falls backword. I don't think I killed him, just angered him. I see all the other mermaids being surrounded. I rush over to help but get blocked by an ugly siren with a spear. I shoot a ball of fire at him and he falls to his knees. Then to my left I hear and see a girl who is trying to get up. Her fins are moving but it is as if somebody or some magic is holding her down. Then she shouts, "HELP! The sirens are controling me!" I rush over and try to pull her up. Suddenly I jerk sideways and the girl is able to leap up. Then suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my left fin. It is as if somebody threw a dagger through my fin. I turn and see a mermaid, the same one who had abandoned me when I turned into a mermaid. "Now were are even," she hisses. Then I fall back stunned and ready to give up, then, in my mind's eye I see the other mermaids surrounded by ugly sirens. "Don't give up! " I yell. Then I swim again into the fight, gritting my teeth at each stroke.
