Imagine you've just bought a new diary. It's a small, thick book, bound in brown leather, with "DIARY" in sparkly silver letters on the front cover. But when you open it up to write in it, you find words in unfamiliar handwriting, penning themselves across the page! They tell of someone in another world, another time, or even another universe, who has just bought a new diary. And you realize with a start that the diary they say they bought sounds eerily similar to yours...
This is an RP, but not a conventional RP in the sense that everyone creates a character and then relates events from that character's perspective. No character-creation posts are needed; others on the RP will figure out much about your character just by how and what you write. All story-building posts on this RP should be in the format of diary entries written by your character. The way it works is that all the characters, no matter what the setting they're in, have actually bought the same Bewitched Diary. It's enchanted to exist in many places at once, and any writing done in any one "copy" shows up in all the rest. The characters learn about each other that way, and probably end up traveling to each other's worlds somehow, but the rest of the plot will emerge as the RP goes on.

Dear diary,
Hello, I am Willow. Is this me, or words keep appearing in here? I feel like I shouldn't tell anybody. There seems to be a Megon, which is odd as there is a Megon in my school, and she's all about catching mermaids. Megon, if your reading this I don't think you should try and catch mermaids. I heard two of them saying "...people are getting really close to cave s...." I also saw writing from a Thyst whose supposedly is a mermaid...

Phew! Yes! [slips in a flattened pitcher plant "pitcher"] I had to sneak away from the group at night, poke around a little, get into some big glass-walled building with entirely too many plants, and get out again without touching the alarm systems. Luckily, a tiny one-person warp-jump sufficed. I recognized the death-pitcher vine immediately, only it didn't look so menacing now that I'm so much larger than it is.
Sorry if I botched this Draconic entry. I must say, Keliska, your Draconic is a sight better than mine!

Thank you. I find dragons fascinating. That's why I renamed myself Keliska , which means Golden in Draconic .
Anyway, here's the potion . It might have side effects of turning your hair hot pink and a craving for spicy food, but other than that it should work .

Dear Diary,
Do you know how hard it is running a kingdom?? I bought you to confide in and new entries (that I didn't write) keep showing up! It's as if someone is sneaking into my room and writing in you. Which I don't want happening. There is one from a mermaid. Is this, like, a huge prank?? There are only mermaids in Seawhipped Lagoon, and that's the Southern most body of water in my kingdom!

Dear Diary or Random People Who Keep Writing In This,
The Lashons have invaded!!! We need help...BADLY! We've lost Seawhipped Lagoon, and us only at war 2 days. Now, we've got fine troops, fine ones I say. But Lasonia is twice the size my country, and ruled by Lord Volde, a awful wizard. Oh, please all of you help. My country is Taso and the palace (which I hate) is right in the exact center, by Lake Sunup. If you draw the following symbol my guards will let you in.. (*) That's the symbol. Oh, PLEASE help. I'm off to war (yes I am uncanny with bow and arrow) in 2 days time.
