Imagine you've just bought a new diary. It's a small, thick book, bound in brown leather, with "DIARY" in sparkly silver letters on the front cover. But when you open it up to write in it, you find words in unfamiliar handwriting, penning themselves across the page! They tell of someone in another world, another time, or even another universe, who has just bought a new diary. And you realize with a start that the diary they say they bought sounds eerily similar to yours...
This is an RP, but not a conventional RP in the sense that everyone creates a character and then relates events from that character's perspective. No character-creation posts are needed; others on the RP will figure out much about your character just by how and what you write. All story-building posts on this RP should be in the format of diary entries written by your character. The way it works is that all the characters, no matter what the setting they're in, have actually bought the same Bewitched Diary. It's enchanted to exist in many places at once, and any writing done in any one "copy" shows up in all the rest. The characters learn about each other that way, and probably end up traveling to each other's worlds somehow, but the rest of the plot will emerge as the RP goes on.

My name is Inxi the Wanderer. I guess I live on Terra now, since my family was forced to move. We change appearance to fit normalcy for the planet we're on; right now I look like a human female of eleven Terran years, with darkish skin and hair that's so blonde it's almost white. I'm wearing a pink shirt and denim pants with a zipper (of all outdated technologies), pilfered from a bin of some sort. Nobody, not even Uzik, knows where we came from originally. A mermaid...isn't that some kind of human fantasy creature based on population minorities from Triton? And Echo, I understand fully the need for secrets. I'm not even supposed to be here right now. I don't know about meeting up with any of you; we can warp-jump, but only as a group and I don't think I could convince Lyjess and Papaa that we have to go to Triton.

I really hate this. Does anyone have any idea about this strange diary? This is a case that needs to be solved. And fast. Cause the zoo's after me, and I'm not sure I want to be stuck in a cage with a bunch of kids staring at me.

I have a potion in my ho , um , cabinet. It is only a Simple Potion, but I think it might be possible to make it into a reversal potion. I'll need five of your hairs, as a human, a dried phyromancer mermaid scale, a death-pitcher plant ( what are those ? ) 7 silver mushrooms, and the tear of a troll. Can you guys help me get the stuff ? Thyst, Megon, can you handle the mermaid scale ? Naidia , do you have any hairs from when you were a human ? If so, please slip it inside the dairy.

A death-pitcher vine?! Are you quite sure you don't have some dried or something? Those things are carnivorous! And huge! Oh...wait, I think they were just huge when we were on Aeigndogye 2, and looked like the rest of the population: about a centimeter tall by Terran standards. I remember dimly about a variety of them growing wild here, but only in certain places.

Well, I think if you attach it to the dairy it will get transported. I'm dropping a dragon scale into the book. I'm sure one of you will find a use for it. Anyway, if it transports, then the potion can be transported too. Did you get my scale ? I hope so . Dragon scales are very rare/\.
