Time Travel RP!
So this is Part 2 of our "I was thinking..." thread (http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/108646) . True and I have been keeping it up for an entire year (yes, we litterally made the final post exactly one year later!). We've loved doing, and have decided to make a Part 2! This is for new people who want to join!
The idea is that you make a character that is related to someone famous in history, but that person can't be an actor, actress, singer, etc. For example, here's my character:
Dehlia Ludington.
Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.
Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777
Suddenly transported to the 21st century.
Age: 14
Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.
Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.
And here's True's (I hope you don't mind my putting you character as an example):
Name: Doralynn Barton
Age: 12
Related to: Clara Barton
Lives: Maryland, at her Aunt Clara's house
Appearence: Curly Black hair, light skin. Is short. About 5'
Personality: Is kind to all animals. Is a nurse to animals. A tomboy.
The story line so far is that we just saved the world in the future thanks to "time tears". They're a liquid substance that allows time traveling. Well, we've all returned to our respective times. But we discovered the original way we showed up was we each had a time-tear-infused object. For Dehlia, it was a book. For Dora, it was a handkerchief. The characters still have these items, and we were thinking of starting another adventure! So this is open for anyone else to join!

Gah, I've been busy!
Dehlia ~
We were just settling down, and began to get a small fire going, when Autumn practically passed out as soon as she sat down. I jumped up and raced over. Her skin was still damp, and felt like ice. Her body trembled slightly.
"Autumn, Autumn!" I shouted, shaking her. After several minutes, she stired slightly. I breathed a sigh of relief.
"You passed out. It must be the cold," I said, sitting back as she blinked her eyes open.
"Yes, I think so," Autumn said quietly.
"I'll keep watch for Indians," Dora said smiling. She could evidently tell Autumn still needed rest. Autumn nodded, and everyone said good night. I moved over to the fire, and lay more wood on it. Dora sat, pulling her dress as far over her legs as possible, trying to dry it.
"What do we do from here?" she whispered.
I shook my head. "I... I'm not sure. We need to figure out why we're here. And how do we get home?"
Dora shook her head, moving closer to the fire. After several minutes, I said: "Tomorrow, we need to explore some. Get to know the lay of the land, and find water and food sources. Who knows how long we will be here?"
"I agree," Dora said, looking at me. "Now you get some sleep."
I smiled slightly and lay down, allowing the fire's warmth to spread across me, though it didn't entirely fight off the cold night air.
"Wake me up soon," I said, drifting off.

I shivered in the cold. The fire had luckily warmed us up, but I was afraid that Autumn was pale. She fell asleep quickly, though, and soon I was the only one awake.
The dim light from the fire cast eerie shadows on everything. If I tilted my head, innocent little Zoe looked almost like a witch. Autumn looked almost like a sleeping princess, the shadows giving her a shadowy necklace. Diana, I could just see as a weary traveler, with a dark beard. I was laughing softly to myself by the time I looked at Dehlia. She looked like a soldier in her sleep.
I leaned back on the rock and gazed at the stars. "What am I doing here?" I murmured softly, "And who am I?"
I was Dora Barton, I knew that. I lived with my father, and sometimes with my Aunt Clara. But even though I could remember yards of memories from the past, the last month or so was foggy to me.
I pulled out my handkerchief, and looked at it. In the dark, I could see no marking, no etching to show that it was mine. I sighed in frustration.
A few hours later, I just managed to shake Dehlia awake for the next watch. Then I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
The next thing I knew, it was morning, and I was being shaken awake.

Diana
When I woke up the sun had not risen yet. The others were all still asleep, but something was rustling in the bushes. I gulped. I knew it was probably some old age creature like a rabbit, but still I wasn't used to boats and nature etc. Thinking I'd probably be a bit more popular with the group if I had a rabbit to use as breakfast, I went down to the beach to collect seaglass and soon I had enough to make a dagger glued together by tree sap. I had never hunted before so it never occured to me that a dagger might not be the best tool. It took me an hour of running around the woods to realize that it was time to head back. As I got close the sound of leaves shaking in the nearby shrubbery caught my attention and I decided to dive for it. As I leapt forward I caught a glimpse of long brown hair and before I could stop myself I was rolling around on the ground wrestling with I guy twice my size. I immediatly stopped my attempt to make him our breakfast, but he and the other men rising from their hiding places around us, had pegged me as a threat. I broke free and stood up quickly. So did he. We stared at each other for a moment and he began to speak. His englis was horrible, but I could make out just enough to understand him.
"Who is white one, come to kill?"
Before I could answer a man spoke up from the group and there was a small exchange in a language I couldn't understand. The English-speaking one started again.
"If one, then must come more. We follow you to more. Go."
The men stepped forward with arrows and I began to timidly herd them back to the other girls. When we reached the girls only Zoe was awake. She was startled at first, but seemed to understand the situation before I even told her. She was brave for age. I liked that. She started to come towards me, but one of the Indian men stopped her. I told her to wake the others right away.

Dehlia ~
I jolted awake at the urgency in Zoe's voice as she shook me. I rolled over to be greeted at the sight of Indians. I stood up slowly, keeping the three, tall, copper skinned men in view. Zoe moved on, waking the others in turn.
The men stared at us intently as we stood side by side. Finally, they gestured for us to follow them. Seeing no other option, we followed. We walked for at least an hour, which kept us warm. The air was cold and sharp, though nowhere near as bitter as the previous night. The trees all looked the same, and the path they led us on would back and forth so many times, I doubted we'd be able to find our way back to the beach. Not that it would have done us any good even if we could.
Finally, we stopped in what seemed the middle of the forest. One of the Indians raised his hand, gesturing for us to wait. He quickly moved forward, disappearing into the woods. After awhile, he reapeared. He had a quick discussion with the other two Indians, then motioned us onward. After several more minutes of walking, we emerged into a clearing.

Sorry I haven't written earlier. I've been coughing all day and still have a slight wheeze. Well, here goes!
~Dora~
The next morning, I was shaken awake from a peaceful sleep. When I opened my eyes, I saw Zoe, her little face creased with worry, looking down at me.
"What is it?" I started to murmur, but Zoe quickly placed a hand over my lips. I was surprised, and quickly looked up.
What I saw made me stiffen. Three dark skinned men in our clearing, Diana with them! One looked older than the others, but otherwise, they all looked almost identical, with their firm expressions, their bows taunt and ready, and their leather shoes and clothing.
When Dehlia, Autumn, Zoe and I were all lined up and fairly awake, one of the men motioned us to follow them, and all three did an about face, and we marched on.
About an hour and a quarter later, we emerged in a clearing. The six of us, all walking together, stopped short, surprised at what we saw. One of the men we had walked with noticed our surprise, and spoke, his face like stone. I was surprised to find that he could speak a little English.
"Six and twenty braves. Our all camp. Stay you."
Inwardly, I groaned. We had arrived at a Native American village, with many people who would be able to harm us - and surely no one who would help us, I thought. We're doomed.
Just then, A few children came bounding up to the braves, chattering in another language. They eyed us curiously, but did not try to speak to us. I sighed. What could we do?
