NaNoWriMo is upon us...

 

 

*insert ominous screaming here*

So, dramatics over, this is a cold hard fact we need to get used to.  NaNoWriMo in slightly over a month.  Start thinking about it, everyone.  If you have a username on the YWP or regular website, please share it below so we can all buddy each other if we want to and/or start a thread on the forums page or something so we know of our whereabouts.  Novel ideas to bounce off everyone are also good. 

I'm The Penultimate Bookworm on the adult site.  Please don't pay attention to vgbass on the YWP, I'm not using it.  I think I might be either a) rewriting a horrible fantasy I wrote a couple years ago b) doing Leviathan or Harry Potter fanfiction or c) Starting the "What do you mean, you don't want bacon?" method identified by Hank Green in a very old vlogbrothers video.

Now I am going to dodge all the novel ideas bouncing at me.

I did, although my handwriting is very loopy and open.  I think this year I'm just going to take an average of the first five pages and multiply that by however many pages I end up doing.

Auto correct is my least favorite kind of computer program.

Spamster in his spamster cage says owcb.  Now I'm fiercely protecting the CB.

Okay, i've decided I'm gonna do YWP this year. I'll probably still set my word goal as 50,000, but my parents would probably be more comforablle with me being on YWP then on the regular NaNoWriMo.

So my username is still Knight of Dawn277, just all put together: KnightofDawn277

Ah now I remember. I am doing 30,000 words. I remembered that my mom said I need to do at least 1,000 words every day of November so I did the math and it turns out to be 30,000 words not 50,000. Well that should be a little easier (If I write and correct every day for 30 days).

I am truemi on YWP. Like Corina, my birthday is in November! I already have Blue Moon and BHR on YWP, and as soon as I can get on, I'll request those which I can.

So cool! My birthday is on November 29. So on it, I'll be frantically trying to finish writing my novel. Or sitting around playing board games and eating snacks with my siblings, that too.

One of my friends has been doing it for a few years. I've been considering doing it this year, but am leaning away from it currently considering the prospects of homework, sports, music lessons, etc.

Plus, my muses have all died under an avalanche of homework. So no ideas yet.
