Maurauders is the time era of when James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Wormtail, Snape, and Lily Evans attended Hogwarts.

I won't be on here as much due to school and Cross Country. Only going to be on later in the day and weekends :( I'll try to be on as often as possible though! (Spammy says erik. That's the name of my old teacher. Weird.)

So, when should we start?

Well, do you guys want it to be set in Grindelwauld's (how do you spell his name?) or the Mauraders? I say probably Mauraders... we will have a vote!

Oh, heck, I guess I'll join. Secret Museum is going great, but some people haven't been returning, like you, Moss, Alzea needs another POV, and WritingWarrior, who I was hoping would give us a vibrant view of Veronica's emotions.
Anyway, my character...
Name: Terrence Repwillson
Age: 11, just about to go to Hogwarts a few months before his 12th b-day
House: Hufflepuff, though he often refers to it as Hooflepoof
Personality: Very snappy, and funny. Popular with other students @ HW. Dislikes chocolate and Pumpkin Pasties. Prefers vanilla-flavored anything. Not really hardworking and often skips class; neglects homework; breaks rules, etc.
Hobbies: Playing Quidditch. Is a remarkable Chaser, though he would prefer the position of Beater, though he is not quite as skilled there as in Chasing. Tries out for Beater position every year. Also reading Muggle literature, he finds it fascinating.
Other: Is Australian.
Rodney says toph. Top hat? Terrence does not wear a top hat, Rodney.

Well, I just started school and have been preparing for it, so that's one reason I wasn't on the Secret Museum RP. I also have Cross Country. So I won't be on often. This doesn't mean I've quit a RP. I'm busy!

Sorry, Terrence is actually 12 going on 13. He's coming into his third year at Hogwarts. And he is moderately skinny with short curly brown hair, brown eyes, really tall for his age, and is left-handed. In other words, he looks like me when I was 12! Yup, I'm a lefty.
**************************************
Yes! I was going to Hogwarts again! I smiled as I skipped down the Hogwarts Express singing to myself. Then I came along a couple other students. One was a boy and one was a girl, both about my age. They were both reading.
"G'day, mates!" I said cheerily. "What do you say ya introduce yourselves to me?" They looked up. Then they mumbled their names with no enthusiasm or pleasure at having met me before returning to their reading. "Didn't quite hear you two!" I said. "Could you please speak up?" The girl lazily flicked her wand and mumbled an incantation, and I found myself thrown from their compartment. "You're very impolite!" I shouted at them. I turned to find a cool girl standing behind me.
"I'm Emma Holmes," she said. "Hi," I said nervously, holding out my hand, "I'm Terrence Repwillson. How d'you do, miss?" She didn't take me hand. "What House are you in?" she asked me. "I? I'm a Hooflepoof!" I replied. She grinned. "You're an awfully funny 'Hooflepoof'." Then she turned away before calling out to me, "That was Holly Evans, who's in my House, and Antony Briggs, who's in yours! They are both very antisocial, too busy studying, though I know Holly very well. I wouldn't disturb them again, or they'd do something worse than that jinx Holly threw at you!" She continued walking away.
"Holly's in your House?" I called back at her. "What is your House?"
"Ravenclaw!" she replied without looking back. And Emma left without one more word.
Not for the first time, I questioned whether it was a good idea to associate with the British folk at Hogwarts instead of just go to the Australian Wizarding school, Findlefigs Institution of Sorcery. But my parents said no, not for their life. Findefigs had a terrible curriculum and the teachers were unhelpful and not very knowledgeable. They were unable to afford better education tools, and they were the only Wizarding school in Australia! Hogwarts cost some extra time since we had to fly to catch the Hogwarts Express on our brooms, but it was better than Findlefigs.
But while I was learning more here than there, I didn't particularly care about schoolwork.

So how is it? I designed it loosely so we can define the time period and have this still make sense. I vote for Marauders era!

I vote for Mauraders too! Then we can write Sirius, James, Lily and the rest into the role-play!

So, I'll begin:

I walked back along the train car, stroking the cool wood of my wand and thinking again about how marvelous it was that I was going back to Hogwarts. I didn't have the best track record, and I didn't know whether or not that little accident would lead to expulsion. Luckily, everyone knew it to be just an accident, so here I was--but I didn't know if any of the other students knew about it--like Terrence, or Holly. Holly should know, she seems to know everything about everyone, without even trying.

I passed numerous empty compartments, but I was looking for Evangeline Reynolds, and her cat--namely her cat.

I found her in the last compartment of the car, wearing her signature purple hoodie and with Gigi on her shoulder, looking like a perfectly behaved cat statue. Sadly, they were with Azeala Prewett, a fourth-year Sytherin who always seemed to read anything but wizarding books. She had a right to read what she wanted, but she seemed to rub it in to anyone who was Muggle-born--like Evangeline, who wasn't a bad sort.

Sorry, that's all I got for now--I'll continue later!

Evangeline ~

I was about to absolutely lose it, sitting with Azeala Prewitt, which probably would have gotten me expelled before I even arrived. I'd already asked her (kindly at first) to get out. Naturally, she wouldn't listen. She was reading some ridiculous Muggle beauty magazine, as if to say that was ALL that Muggles read. Get real. I looked up, and could have cried with joy, when I saw Emma Holmes enter the compartment.

"Hi," she said. It was directed at me, though she said it without a whole lot of enthusiasm, eyeing Azeala.

"Hey," I replied, straightening from my customary slouch. Just then, the train whistle blew, saying we would arrive shortly.

"Well," Azeala said, standing up hotly. "I suppose I better go get into my robes." And with that, she huffed out of the compartment. I breathed a sigh of relief.

"That was agony. I should have just hexed her and been done with it," I said as Gigi hopped over to Emma. She was about the only other person he'd respond to, or at least nicely. She stroked his gleaming black fur in a thoughtful silence.

"Do you think anyone will know about the "accident"? she asked.

I waved a hand airily, returning to my slouch, resting my chin on my knee. "Probably not, though it doesn't really matter. And I highly doubt they'd expell you either." It was her turn to breathe a sigh of relief. Suddenly a group of Slytherins passed by. Gigi arched his back and hissed. I grinned. I'd trained him well. Another whistle blasted. Hogwarts was just around the bend.

Ok! Mauraders it is!

~Holly

I pushed my cart of supplies to the Hogwarts Express. It was my third year at Hogwarts, and I was really excited. I was finally going to see my fellow Claws and other friends! I had written them letters all over the summer, and we had been sending letters back and forth. And plus, this year we got to choose some of our classes! I had chosen Care of Magical Creatures and Divination. As I was thinking about all this, I bumped into somone. Or rather, two someones.

"Oi! Watch it!" One of them said. It was a black, curly haired boy. Sirius Black.

"Oh, it's you Holly." Sirius said, smiling.

I rolled my eyes. "Yes, in the flesh."

I was friends with the Mauraders, even though my cousin Lily highly disapproved of it. Well, the Mauraders were fun to hang out with! The only reason I'm hanging out with them is because I'm a tomboy, and the Mauraders like that. Even though I was a Ravenclaw, I could act a tiny bit like a Gryff. But I didn't join in on the bullying on Severus. (I didn't hang out with them often but enough to know them) Neither did Remus. I would tell on them, but I don't want to lose their trust.

"Uh, hello?!" Yelled the other somebody on the ground. I looked at the ground and realized it was my mate from Ravenclaw, Kelpie. Well, that was her nickname since she loved frogs and toads. Her real name was Phoebe Clark. But she stuck with Kelpie.

"Oh, sorry! Didn't see you there, Kelps!" I said, helping her up.

"Oof! At least my toad didn't hop off!" Kelpie said when she got up. When she saw Sirius, she smiled in a teasing way. "Oh, you."

"Yes, me." He said, smiling back. "Well, better get back to my other mates! See you round!" And Sirius ran off to find Remus, James, and Peter.

"Want to find the other Claws on the train?" Kelpie asked and we walked away.

"Sure, why not?" I said, shrugging. We clambered onto the train and searched the compartments. I found one with Antony Briggs. Pretty nice guy. Kelpie and I settled down and got out our books to study. I got out my wand (it's holly with unicorn core. Figures) and started practicing them, one by one.

"G'day, mates!" Someone said happily. "What to you say ya introduce yourselves to me?"

Sighing, I looked up. A Hufflepuff. They were always so cheery, it could get a bit irratating at times. I told him my name, but I guess I mumbled (I do that with new people) and went back to what I was doing.

"Didn't quite hear you two! Could you please speak up?" I said my name again, mumbling again. Oops. Then I accidentally did a jinx at him, meant to do it on the ground or something.

"You're very impolite!" He said, and walked off.

My face turned red. Didn't mean to make that bad of an empression. I get really focused when I study, and don't listen to anyone but myself.

Clearing my head of guilt, I thought about this year at Hogwarts. It was going to be great! Care for Magical Creatures! And new spells for Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms!

My owl, George, started hooting and rattling the cage suddenly.

"Oh all right you Mr. Whiny! I'll let you out." I said to George in a teasing manner. I unlocked the cage, opened the window and saw him fly off. I stared at him, flying off until I drifted off by the movement of the train.

I know, I already mixed in Sirius, but I thought that would be cool. I mean, this is an alternate universe.... and I think the Mauraders are awesome....

Anywho, Kelpie's going to be one of my friends in Ravenclaw that I made up :3 Of course I'm going to talk to you other peeps in the RP (well, Holly is) See you peeps soon! Around this time tomorrow!

Azalea

"Severus, do you ever wash you hair?" I asked my relative. "That's not very on vogee."

"It's en vogue," said the little girl beside him. I gave her a once-over. She was cute and had long red hair, not a strand out of place, and gorgeous eyes. Severus was obviously smitten. She had potential.

"I'm Azalea Prewett." The girl held out her hand and smiled shyly. How adorable! "Fourth-year! If you ever want to let loose just come down to the Slytherin common room- Lucius stockpiled a whole pile of Butterbeer and even some Firewhiskey over the summer!"

"Um, okay," the girl said quietly. She looked at me like I was a two-headed dog. The smell of Sev's hair was probably getting to her. "I'm Lily Evans."

Evans? I couldn't remember any pure-blooded Evans.

"She's a Muggle-born," Severus said, as if reading my thoughts. Maybe he had read my thoughts. He was a weird kid, always doing weird spells. If he would only fix his hair! He would be attractive enough that people dismissed his kookiness like me! And Lily was adorable now, but in a few years she would probably be so pretty that people would go out of their way to talk to her. Oh no! She might take over my spot as Queen Lord of Hogwarts! That Lily girl might even become prettier than me! That wasn't good. I had to stall for time. That makeup from Paris would be arriving soon so I only needed a few more days...

"Oh. Well, on a second thought, Libby, the Slytherin common room might not be such a good place for you," I sputtered. "I have to feed Shovel now. Bye!"

Azalea's opinions are definitely not mine!

This is going to be really interesting!
--Terrence--
After Emma walked off, I ran into another girl, who was wearing a very fashionable Muggle shirt and a hot-pink skirt. She smiled sweetly. She was beautiful, but a bit menacing, I thought.
"Hullo," she said, "I'm Cindy Umbridge, a fourth year."
"Well," I replied, "nice to meet you, Cindy. What house are you in?"
Cindy gave me a devilish smile. "Why, I'm from Slytherin," she said, "and I came to tell you, I've heard of how you prank students with your foolish contraptions you hand them, and you will not do it to me. If you try, my mother will come after you, Terrence."
"Why?" I asked. "Who is your mother?"
"Dolores Umbridge," Cindy said cooly. "She's head of the Improper Use of Magic Office. She wishes to be Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic someday, but she's not quite there yet. If you give me one of your little jokes, the consequences will be hefty. I shall report you to my mother, a very nice young woman, and she shall prosecute you for misusing magic that way. Perhaps even expel you from Hogwarts."
"The Ministry has no authority to expel Hogwarts students," I said. "Dumbledore told me so!"
"Dumbledore is wrong," said Cindy, now in a singsong voice. "The Ministry has the authority for anything. But if you do play a joke on me, Terrence, I shall be glad. Much pleasure will come from putting you in the way of my mummy's mercy, and it may increase my odds of getting to work at the Ministry when I get old enough to follow the steps of my dear mum." She showed me a photo. "Isn't she beautiful?"
Dolores Umbridge was not very pretty. In the photo, she was sitting at a desk writing a long document. Every once in a while, her photo self would look up and reach for more ink. She and her daughter shared the devlish, falsely sweet smile, but while Cindy was young and beautiful, her mum was like a toad. Young and ugly. I found the nerve to say as much.
Cindy snarled. "You do not insult my mother again, Terrence..." she said, "or I'll..."
"Do what?" I said cheerily. "No law against being rude, and no law against stating the sad truth. Your mummy won't be able to punish me for that, so you can't come crying to her should I insult her fat face or your heavy ego."
She stared daggers at me and left the compartment to change into her robes. I did the same, going the other way. On the way to the dressing room, I ran into Emma Holmes, who'd already changed. "I'm surprised you had the nerve, Repwillson," she said respectfully. Then she headed to her friend Holly's compartment.

I find it a little funny that part of this post was deleted. Might I ask why? I mean I get that it may have been interpreted as inappropriate but I think it was kind of dumb, in my opinion. And you've let in similar stuff, so I don't see why this is particularly different, and I don't believe it goes under the heading of "inappropriate for 8 and up".
Not that I'm trying to slip the deleted part back in or anything (though it's fine if you think my opinion warrants it), I just wanted something from you on the subject. And no, I can't hold this conversation within the privacy of e-mail, as you've suggested I do before in similar cases, because my mom reads all incoming mail and I don't want her to ask any questions. So if you can't talk about it here, too bad for me, but whatever. It's not such a big deal anyway.

Admin: Joe, I'm not the Admin who edited your post, so I can't tell you why it was edited. However, from the way you describe the post, I can see why an Admin would consider it inappropriate for younger readers.
