I checked it out...  but I don't think I will.  November is in the middle of the school year, and since I go to a *snooty college prep school* I get a TON of homework.  Does anyone know why they chose November???  Why not August???

wouldn't you much rather be outside in august?

any month would be bad for someone.

Probably... but it's been really weird weather in NY this whole month and it rains like every day.  Or it's 100 degrees. Or it's 50 degrees.  I think I should contribute to the global warming page on Down to Earth.

Yeah I guess.  What about January or March though?  Those months are really boring and there is nothing to do.

You don't have to answer that I just thought it was a valid argument.

They like months with thiry days, I think. and a couple of people do it in January. Google "JaNoWriMo"
