Story Chain!
Story Chain!
I think it would be fun to start a story chain. Each person can write a sentence or paragraph to the story. I'll begin...
Kelsey Rose woke up and sighed. It was the first day of school in a new town...
Ok, you continue the story. Don't be afraid to add mythical creatures, or wild adventures to the story.

Kelsey really should have been afraid. She had just been attacked by a pack of phsycotic killer wolves, badly injured, (which still hurt her badly), taken in by some, what did she call herself? Some nymairy! AND NOW, this gut, Amnester, wanted her for her powers, whatever they were. But instead, she was absolutely livid! How dare this guy, try and kill her and her friends! Who did her think he was? Where did he get off thinking he could mess with her! No way! Not happening! This guy needed to be put in his place! And she was going to be the one to do it! Yes sir! Suddenly, Amnester swept into the room. If he hadn't absolutely radiated power, Kelsey would have laughed at his get-up. He wore a long, black, billowing cape that swept the floor. He wore something like battle armor, and had a sword hanging at his side. His helmet reminded her of a vikings, with horns sticking out on either side, and covered most of his face. If she could, she would have stood up and told him off, but being strapped to the bed by tree roots made it a little difficult. "So," he said, his voice like oil; "your Kelsey, the linixie?" Kelsey didn't reply, but just glarred. He laughed. "You have spunk, my dear! That's good! The more spunky, the more powerful!" He laughed again. Kelsey lost her temper. "Just WHERE do you get off, kidnapping me, trying to kill my friends and I, the trapping me in some tree, with, whatever she said she was!" Again, he laughed. Seriously, do ALL villians laugh? Kelsey thought starring at him. "Well," he said, regaining composure; "I suppose it did smell a little abrasive. But, now that your here, you'll do exactly as I tell you to do." "The day colored birds catapult at green pigs!" Kelsey replied tartly, not knowing exactly where that came from. "Then you AND your friends will pay the price!" He said, a phsycotic smile spreading over his face. "Wait," Kelsey said haltingly; "you have Sophie and Frank?" "Oh, not yet," he said, still smiling; "but we have a nasty little surprise for them, unless you coporate!" With that, he turned and left, his cape sweeping the floor, the nymairy following, shuting the door with a resounding BOOM! Kelsey sat quietly. Her mind going over everything. A wave of hoplessness washed over her, and she nearly cried, when she remembered something Sophie had said; 'The power of friendship is awfully valuable.' Could friendship really be all that powerful and valuable? Kelsey decided to find out. She had nothing to lose...
Here I leave it! DADA! Cappie hira. Finally, he's praising me!

Ilene called me nearly sixteen times over the weekend to see how my story was progressing. Each time, I told her that it wasn't that great of a story and that she'd have to see it on Monday. Secretly, though, I was pleased to hear that my story was splendid.
I tirelessy worked on it night and day, over the weekend. In the end, I was happy with the results, but that was just me. The true test would be whether Ilene and Miss Wilson liked it.
I neatly placed the next few chapters into my blue writing folder and set the folder in my backpack.
Ilene was waiting for me at the bus stop. "Can I see it?" she said. I handed it to her. "Thanks," she said as she began to read.
Later, at lunch Ilene ran up to me." You have to get this published! It is an amazing story! I can't wait to read the rest," she gushed. As she handed it to me, Frank snatched it from her hand and ran off. "Hey, stop. That is MY story for English!" I shouted and helplessly felt tears in my eyes.
"It's OK," Ilene comforted, "I'll get it back." Then, she too ran off, leaving me all alone.

This story will need a title. Does anyone have any ideas?
(February 12, 2013 - 5:48 pm)
The Amazing, Crazy, Ubelievable, Phsycotic, Rodent-Rampent, High Flying Adventures of Kelsey Rose!
With a title like that, the story could just keep going! Or make a sequel!
Cappie says herd. Really, Cappie? Have you REALLY heard, a title like that?
(February 13, 2013 - 1:09 pm)
Hmmm... It would be cool to do a sequel! Well, of course once we finish this one.

I've only read the first few comments, but I think it should be called Kelsey Rose and the Ex Unnamed Deity.

What about...
A Good MacGuffin is Hard to Find
The MacGuffin Search (that just happened to get off track via a flying green armadillo)
(February 13, 2013 - 4:41 pm)
I like that first one. Maybe mention Sir Kevin in there a la "A Good McGuffin is hard to Find, Especially When Green Armadillos are Involved".

Okay, so, what happens to Kelsey next?
(February 14, 2013 - 8:02 pm)
Kelsey Rose knew that the power of friendship was the key to get out of Amnester's lair. The question was how. Starting with the most obvious answer Kelsey Rose passionately said, "I'm friends with Sophie and Frank". She waited for something magical to happen. Seconds ticked by and nothing happened. Kelsey moaned as she knew that time was being wasted.
She tried to think of new solutions, but none came to her. She hung her head in distress and started to cry.
"Psst. Kelsey", a voice said. Kelsey looked around; no one was there. "Kelsey, it's me Sophie", the voice said "I'm communicating with you inside your head. This only works with the power of friendship. Now here's what you have to do..."

"You sure about this?" Kelsey asked. "You're not giving me much to go on." "Positive. They want you alive. If anything, and I mean anything happens to you, than their chances of gaining enough power for their plan lessens," Sophie said. Here goes nothing, Kelsey thought, as she cried out in "pain". "What's happened?" Meredith hollered frantically. "I feel as if I'm suffocating, I must go outside, or at least have this magic lifted off of me. You don't wanna know what happens if you keep me like this for long. Last time someone used magic on me like this, I got sick for three months. It was bad," Kelsey faked. "Oh dear, okay, I'll see what I can do, just remember you can't run away. Your time here is supposed to be enjoyable, and we will treat you well here. Just don't try to escape, err I mean leave without permission, Meredith said, fumbling for her walkie. Sir, we need to lift all magic off her stat. If we don't, nothing will go as planned." Then turning to Kelsey she smiled, "There you go." "Thanks." Kelsey smiled back, taking inventory of the room, trying to find a way to escape.

After Merdith left, Kelsey glanced about the room. The room was definitely made of wood. The door was blocked by root bars. There was a small window, maybe just big enough for me to squeeze through. 'Now what?' I thought to myself. 'Fly, silly!' Sophie replied in my mind. Fly? 'Sophie, I can't fly. 'Sure you can! Look, you believed in the power of friendship. Now, you have to believe your a linixie!' I stared at the window. Out of everything that's happened, why can't I believe I'm a linixie? I thought about all the strange stuff that had happened to me over the years. How answers on exams just came to me on questions I didn't know. How I'd always been able to outrun even the tallest boys in my classes when I was little. Then something else struck me. I had a sudden memory of being on a swing. The girl next to me jumped, then hurt her ankle because it'd been too high. I'd jumped from even higher, and seemed to just float to the ground, like when Alice fell down the rabbit hole. Could I fly? I started concentrating hard. Suddenly, there was a shimmering behind me. I looked over my shoulder. There, on my back, was a pair of silver, lacey wings. 'You did it!' Sophie squealed excitedly in my mind. 'Okay, fly out the window, we're waiting.' I tested my wings. First, a gentle flap, then they started flitting, faster and faster. I rose up off the ground. I giggled. The sensation was incredible! Suddenly, I heard Merideth scream behind me. "Amnester! She's figured it out!" I knew it was a matter of seconds. I flapped my wings faster, and leaned toward the window. I shot up, gaining speed. At the last second, I folded my wings in, and I shot through the window. Frank and Sophie both sat on the pegusi. I shot up toward them, but suddenly...
Taday! Something suspensful!
(February 18, 2013 - 4:40 pm)
... thousands of spiders rushed from the tree and formed a barrier between Kelsey and her friends. They formed a gigantic web with the strength of steel, but it was still flexible.
Amnester cackled, and Kelsey spun around. "What do you want of me, Amnester?" Kelsey said. "Why I need your linixie powers," he said and started to move closer to Kelsey. Kelsey backed up into the web. She pushed back with all of her might. "Fine, Amnester. I'll give you my linixie powers," Kelsey said. Kelsey, what are you doing?! Sophie mind-spoke; Kelsey ignored her. "I'm glad you're finally listening to me, it will make things go much smoother," Amnester said delightedly.
Amnester turned around to tell Meredith the news and that was when Kelsey took action. Using the web, she flung herself into the air. She then 'sprouted' her wings and flew back through the window. Glancing around, she noticed a door that was wide open. She raced through it, but then...
