Story Chain!

Story Chain!
Story Chain!
I think it would be fun to start a story chain. Each person can write a sentence or paragraph to the story. I'll begin...
Kelsey Rose woke up and sighed. It was the first day of school in a new town...
Ok, you continue the story. Don't be afraid to add mythical creatures, or wild adventures to the story.

I don't want this thread to die either! I don't think I've ever read or written anything so funny! I don't think I've laughed so hard either, as when I'm reading this thread!
Cappie says agzw= Awsome Great Zany Wacky!
(February 3, 2013 - 11:41 am)
It is an interesting, funny thread. I rather like it.
(February 3, 2013 - 2:13 pm)
I hope it doesn't die. I think it was starting to because the story got confusing, which it's not anymore. So cross your fingers!
Cappie says krey, does it think I'm crazy? :)
(February 3, 2013 - 2:28 pm)
@ Marina; Yes, I suppose it did get a little confusing there for a bit, but, I guess that happens with an RR. And yes, Cappie may very well be calling you crazy, not because you are, but, my Cappie can be rather derogatory. It constantly calls me crazy, or scoffs at me, so... Now, onto Kelsey Rose!
I raced home, eager to write the next part of what happens to Kelsey. Ilene came with me, also eager to see what I write, and, of course, criticize.
Riding pegusi was unlike anything Kelsey had ever experienced before. It was exilarating! They flew, faster than a ski boat skimming over waves. "Frank," Kelsey called through the wind rushing past, "where, exactly, is this McGuffin? And what will it be?" Frank, riding beside their black and gold pegusas, considered the question; "Where it is, will be about 10 more miles north/west. As to what it will be, that will depend on you." "Me?!" Kelsey asked, utterly surprised. "Yes, you," replied Frank easily. "This is your quest, so therefore, it will be whatever your heart desires." "What does your heart desire, Kels?" Sophie asked.
Okay, I leave it to someone else now!
(February 4, 2013 - 11:09 pm)
Kelsey thought. "My heart desires," she paused, "a cheap ballpoint pen."
(February 5, 2013 - 5:50 pm)
Kelsey rolls her eyes. "My heart desires that this McGuffin thing doesn't turn out to be like one of those cheesy old adventure stories - the power of friendship and all that stuff." She smacks a fist onto a flat palm. "No, after all this trouble I want a real ending."
Frank makes Skeptical Eyebrows at her. "Endings like that are rarely emotionally satisfying, though. Are you sure that's what you want?"
"Ye-"
"No! No she's not!" Sophie interrups. Pulling Kelsey off to the side, she says confidentially, "Are you totally sure about this? The Power of Friendship is awfully valuable, you know that."
Kelsey crosses her arms. "Actually, I don't care. But going on an adventure like this for a McGuffin needs to have a monetarily satisfying ending as well as emotional closure. The bills don't pay themselves."
The normally-clear area between Sophie's eyebrows creases as she says, "Alright, but remember-"
She doesn't have time to finish her statement.

Of course I don't want this thread to die! That would be problematic! And the reason Sophie got cut off can be good or bad, I just made it sound really ominous here... -.-''

I like something bad. I rather like near-death experiences in stories. Terrible injuries, miraculous recovery, heroine thing. Cheesy? Clique? Yes, I know. Just a suggestion. Plus, there should really be more comedy in this!
Cappie says evrp.
(February 5, 2013 - 7:50 pm)
This entire thing is made of comedy. Not really in the story line itself, which is probably what you're talking about, but PARODY PARODY. In the flesh.
(February 5, 2013 - 9:09 pm)
I agree, it is sort of a comedy. I like it, though.

"-but remember the skunk." Frank looked at Kelsey strangely. And then the toothpaste hit them.
(February 6, 2013 - 6:48 pm)
Kelsey wasn't sure what had just happened. It had all happened so fast. Something looking like blue heliotrope toothpaste had flown into Frank's face. He yelled, evidently recognizing it. It started wrapping around his body, like tentacles. He managed to draw his hunting knife, and cut the stuff away, but more of it flew through the air, wrapping around Frank, Sophie, and the pegusi, and their wings and legs, so they were struggling to fly. Suddenly, something grey, a bit larger than a puppy, flew out of the clouds. It was by far the strangest thing Kelsey had EVER seen. They were grey wolf pups, but they had wings sticking out of their sides. White, feathery wings. They howled. They may have been only pups, but their howl was enough to send chills down Kelsey's spine. She was still sitting behind Sophie, managing to have avoided the toothpaste. She sat, paralyzed in fear. Suddenly, her sword appeared in her hand, just a wolf pup dove at her. She did the same thing as the squirrels, she randomly swung the sword. Poof! A puf of green smoke, silver sparkles, and... "You've GOT to kidding," Kelsey said, even in the face of impending doom. Where the wolf pup had been was now a pile of... Goldfish. Kelsey slashed the toothpaste now from Sophie, who was starting to turn slightly blue, and gag quite a bit. "Thanks," she weezed. Frank's pegasus had flown to far for her to be able to reach him, but the toothpaste was having a harder time on him. Suddenly, more wolves flew down from the sky. Some pups, some grown, some in between. They dove furiously at the pegusi, biting, clawing. Sophie and Kelsey swung and shot, but they were severly out numbered. Suddenly, a full-grown wolf swooped over Sophie's head, their pegasus now falling, fairly well wrapped in toothpaste. It tackled Kelsey, knocking her off the pegasus' back. It clawed her, and bit deeply into her arm. She screamed in pain. She was falling, fast, straight toward the dark, blue ocean below. Suddenly, the wolf deserted and SPLASH! She landed, hard, sinking in bubbles. She started to black out, but she managed to swim to the surface, and look around. Not far, she saw the shore line of a beach, and swam toward it. Finally, she hauled herself onto the beach, and lay panting. Her bitten arm throbbed. She felt something warm drenching down her face. She felt dizzy. And slowly, the world went black...
Haha! Dramatic! Suspenseful! Thrilling! Hilarious! MWAHAHA! Cappie says renb. Hmm. Mockery or encouragement.
(February 8, 2013 - 2:27 pm)
Kelsey coughed and opened her eyes. Where am I? she wondered. She looked around, noticing that she wasn't on the beach anymore. It looks like, no it can't be, a tree?
"Oh, good! You're alive!" said a sweet voice that almost sounded like bells. "Who and what are you?" Kelsey asked bluntly. A thin women--no, more like girl--stared at her. She had maya blue hair, emerald green eyes, silver skin and wings." Oh, you can call me Meredith and I'm a nymairy, a cross between a fairy and nymph," she said.
"Where are my friends?" Kelsey demanded. "What friends?" Meredith asked, confused. "Sophie and Frank, they were on the beach with me!" Kelsey exclaimed. "There was no one with you, dear," Meredith said.
Kelsey had to find her friends. "Well, thank you for helping me, but I have to go find my friends now," Kelsey said as she sat up. "You can't go so soon, dear," Meredith told her and snapped her fingers. Thick roots sprang from the ground and coiled around her.
Meredith just watched Kelsey struggle. "Help," Kelsey cried.
"Amnester," Meredith said, "I have Kelsey"
