Extreme Randomness Alert!

Does anybody think that machines are extremely stupid?  Example:  Our phone was out last night and just now someone from verizon calls her on her phone and says: Your phone has been fixed, could you please confirm that?  This is a thread for posting about really dumb things that are mass produced.  For example, on a muffin package, the instructions were: 1) open package 2) insert muffin in mouth 3) eat.

Spamster in his spamster cage says pcee. Is microsoft dumb enough for you to say 'ee'?

On kitchen knives in grocery store:

WARNING: Do not stick in children. (WHAT? That's the only reason I bought these!! Plus, what about adults?)

@Zach L.

Aren't adults just children with more experience?

Correction: Adults are children that lost their sense of humor.  Except for Dave Barry.  And Daniel Pinkwater.

And Walt Disney :)

Actually, people who worked with Walt Disney said he was mean and hard to work with.  Total shocker, right?  And even if he was nice, I don't think he had that much of a sense of humor beyond paradizing mouse ears.  (random thought: *opens up Google images* never mind.)

Explain Disneyland, then.

Disneyland is the result of an animator with a lot of time on his hands, which he used dressing up as other people and buying land.  Disneyland (in my opinion) is not very humorous.  He just happened to like cartoons.

OK, not the best example... The Silly Symphonies?  Never mind.  You'll be able to disprove everything.

Unfortuantly, I have to agree with that.  I have an unnerving ability to disprove many people's beliefs.  As my friends says on a regular basis every Thursday during lunch: "You crush my dreams."  I hope she's kidding.

Terry Pratchett and Jonathan Coulton. Disprove that.

Okay, I forgot Terry Pratchett has a mild sense of humor retained.  Never heard of Jonathan Coulton.  While I'm at it, all the cast of Monty Python's Flying Circus have saved their sense of humor.
