Democrat or Republican...
I am just curious which everybody is and why they are. Some of you might be too young to really know. I only really really thought about it starting a couple years ago. Before that I didn't really understand. Which are you Admin?
i don't consider myself either. I consider the qualities and qualifications of each candidate and how they stand on important issues and vote for the one I think will do the best job regardless of party.

Hmm...
In general I'm more of a Republican, but I'm also with the Admin and usually hope (I say hope because I'm still to young to vote) for whoever I think will do the best job based on what I know about them. It just happens that a lot of the candidates I like are Republicans. (Go Ron and Rand Paul!)

Just as long as it's not a debate. ;)
I'm a rebublican, mostly because I don't believe that the democrats shold do hand outs. Yes, sometimes people need help, but yo should still TRY to work for a living.
I'm done now, and I'm not going to say anymore.

Thumbs up, RD. :)

Well I am a Democrat and proud to be one!
(April 13, 2011 - 3:01 pm)
I am not very political, and I really am too young, but, my family is Democratic. I don't consider myself (technically) one, just because my family is, but I am a Demorcrat. I am still really young to even be thinking about that. I don't really consider myself one, but if I must pick, then I am a Demorcrat.
I cannot believe the Admins allowed this....
Well, we'll screen comments and be sure it doesn't get out of hand.

You can be young enough that you don't need to think about politics, but you can't be young enough that it's wrong to do so. If you're not interested, that's fine--I'm not, either. Just don't think that being young prevents you from having the right to learn about these things if you want.
Detc says dtoy. No, politics is not a toy.

NEITHER! I'm too young to vote and I'm a Canadian! :) (though I'm probably on Harper's side right now; he's a Conservative I think, since there's going to be a re-election.)
(April 13, 2011 - 4:05 pm)
Well, I would tend to consider each candidate individually as opposed to voting only with a certain party, but for the most part my views tend toward the conservative/Republican side, leaning farther to the right in matters of money/government spending and more towards the center elsewhere.
(April 13, 2011 - 4:22 pm)
But really, how do you know what you are unless you watch the whole election process?
(April 13, 2011 - 6:00 pm)
Why would it not be allowed? (This is sort of a rhetorical question) It's not like it's a debate. As I said it is just because I was curious which everybody was and why they were.

I'm with Vida on this one. Politics are not somthing people should be talking about here. They often couse feuds among people, one saying that this one is better, the other laughing and asking them how stupid can they be, and some feel very strong about one party, and they refuse to talk to the other, even if they were great friends.
Anyway, this is deffinetly not something we should be talking about.
(April 14, 2011 - 4:56 am)
But politics are important, and I think everyone here is perfectly capable of discussing them in a reasonable fashion. Besides, I don't think that political conversations cause feuds often at all; it's just that the ones that DO are the ones that get all the attention and/or the ones pursued by extremists.
So I think this should be fine.
