Christmas season is
Christmas season is around the corner and everyone's hustling and bustling to buy gifts, decorations, and make plans for holiday parties. Do you have any gifts you are particularly proud of? Or any clever wrapping/decorating tips you'd like to share? Please, feel free to post here on traditions, gifts and all your preparations for Christmas!
I'm not gifted (haha- I didn't plan this) in gift wrapping. :) But my mom bought this huge package of ribbons of all different textures and designs from Costco. (You could probably have guessed when I said huge that it was from Costco =D) They add a very nice touch to all of my not-so-nice gift wrapping. Also, I am creating a picture collage for my brother, that I'm going to frame. I'm proud of this because it's so personal--and I know he's going to love it. For my other brother, I bought expensive stickers (made from actual fabrics, not just flimsy sticker material) and glued magnets on to the back, for his new magnet board he got. I'm not sure about my sister's gift yet (I just know I'm going to buy a couple little things) but I plan on buying a Santa hat and placing her gift in there--tying it with a ribbon. Anyway, sorry my gift ideas are boring, it's all I have right now. Please liven this thread with more holiday cheer!

@Hannah: Yes, I have been to Four Corners! It was really fun. I got to stand on all four states at once!

Oh. My. Gosh. A Christmas Carol was ah-ma-zing. *screams giddily* Best special effects ever. Marley was so creepy. I was clutching my coat in fear the whole time he was onstage. And there were these two dancers who kept sparkling glitter. My favorite special effect was at this graveyard and there was this big tomb thingy. All of a sudden the plaques on it lit on fire!!!!!! When the fire died down, you could read the words "EBENEZER SCROO."'. At the end, the narrator revealed he was Tiny Tim and I was all like, "I knew it!" I mean, he had a cane. How more obvious doe it get?

WOOOOO!!!!!!
So, because we had some relatives early, and because they have to leave on Christmas Eve early, we celebrated some Xmas early. Guess what! I'm typing on my brand-new Eee PC Asus NETBOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I also got a Borders gift card (another WOOOOO!!!!!), and a new Wii game.

Christmas is tomorrow!!!!! Eeek! I can't wait. I'm really, really, REALLY hoping someone in my family got me a movie collection that I really want. The anticipation is killing me. My grandparents are in town and we're about to go out to lunch, so ciao!

@MJ: Did you get the movie collection? :D

It's officially Christmas day here! (even though it's 12:02) My dad's singing on the kareoke machine (dunno how to spell kareoke), my mom's doing something on my new and first iPod (4G!!!!!), and my brother's asleep. (He has been for the past, er, three hours I think.)
@Kimberly B.: You're a really great photographer! I especially love your pics of the ornaments and the bells!
@Analesia: I've never seen the play, but I've seen the movie version of A Christmas Carol. (the Jim Carrey one) Have you seen the movie. If you have, is it better than the play or vice versa?
@Charlotte: Judging by the fact that you are part of the Colorado Dance Theatre (which is really cool, as is the fact that you do pointe, I could never dream of doing that, actually, I can, but I probably will never do it) I am guessing that you live in Colorado. So I just searched Eee Asus Netbook on the USA Asus website, and it looks really NICE. You are so lucky! :-)
Merry Christmas everyone! And a happy New Year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

TODAY IS CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!! Last night I went with my grandma to her church (it isn't her church, it's just the one she goes to) and we watched the service and at the end we all got candles (never trust me nor my bro with fire...) and we sang carols in the middle of the night on the sidewalk. But now it's Christmas morning!!!!!!!! I'm the only one up, I can NEVER sleep on holidays!!!! :D :D :D :D I woke up at 3:30, walked around the dark house aimlessly, went back to sleep*. Then I 'woke' again at 5:00. This time I went to the bathroom and woke my bro up in the process. (He's a really light sleeper.) Then we planned on staying awake until there were lights on, but he just walked into the living room, turned on the tree lights, and went back to sleep. Then I read a short story about a girl who wanted her own room and rested. And now, it's 6:43, and I sit on the living room floor, my face in my laptop because I don't have my glasses on so I can't see anything, waiting anxiously for SOMEONE ELSE to wake up so that I have permission to wake everyone else up. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!
*meaning, I watched my alarm clock while my cat slept on my leg.

Charlotte... do you live in Colorado?
It's OK if you don't want to tell. ;D

Yup, I'm a Coloradoan. By the way, it is NOT snowy. It's snowed once and didn't even last an entire day. Grrr!
